Burger King (Hungry Jack's here in Australia) do a Vegan Cheese burger and a vege burger called the Rebel Whopper. None of the other chains are doing meat free options yet. I'd try the KFC option if they bring it here. Still junk food though, but it's nice to have fast food options when in a pinch!
I had this early in the summer. I don’t feel like it’s the same as it’s slightly dryer. I think the vegan mayo is crucial for it to pass as a kfc substitute.

Here in Madrid Burger King has got a vegan option the Rebel Whopper, you've got to remember to tell them to do it without mayonnaise though. It's like eating a real meat hamburger. Also another company called Pans & Co, like a Subway, has 3 or 4 vegan options. They use a meat substitute called Heura that is delicious!!! You can also buy Heura to cook at home. I'll link their profile to you on IG.💚
Awesome! I am looking forward to trying this. I would eat the chips too, cross contamination doesn't bother me as this is a lifestyle choice not an allergy! Eating something fried in the same oil as meat is not the same as eating meat in my opinion. Happy holidays!!!!

Linda McCartney southern fried chicken pieces are worth trying, and the fish cakes. both amazing alternatives!
yes sarah they deep fry the chips/fries in the same vat as they do the chicken! so they swim round in the same oil as the chicken grease

Is it made in fresh oil away from the oil they use to cook the chicken in

Has anyone found any vegan cheese that actually tastes like cheese? Iv had a few like the grated coconut cheese from tesco but i find it disgusting
