    I was recently given a woodfire grill from a coworker who never used it.
    Prior to receiving the grill I've never grilled anything in my life.
    I've made two meals on this grill using your videos as a guideline and both times I've knocked it out of the park.

    I prefer melted cheese on my burgs, but still looks GOOOD!
    Loving your Ninja Grill series, very few channels do it as indepth as you do when it comes to woodfire grill. Very useful.

    Those burgers look delicious! I suppose one could smoke the burgers/bacon on the griddle plate (if one has that, and put the bacon in the back by the grease drain), and then swap and do the final sear on the grill plate. Thanks for the video!

    I have done burgers on my Ninja Woodfire, and they were so good. Haven’t done bacon yet. I am loving the smoker. I have found that if I am smoking for less than 45 minutes that all the pellets do not burn off. I do love the smoke flavor though. Just wish they could figure out a way to get the smoke ring though.

      Try using the Jack Daniels charcoal pellets for burgers . Work really well.

    Made 22 burgers yesterday. That grease port is a joke. 😂 I had my mit and tray ready to take the grill off and switch. Had to wash and fire up the links. Love the videos. It’s wings today!

    Excellent choice on the Oroweat buns!!!!
    Now, I know how you feel about Salmon, but how about trying to cold smoke some salmon for lox and whatnot??? I’ve smoked salmon and beef jerky on the Woodfire, but have yet to try a cold smoke!!!

    Hey CJ.. awesome looking burgers!.. off topic question for ya though. Im debating on getting a tempspike for when i do burgers but wasnt sure if the pre pattied burgers from the store would be thick enough to get the probe in far enough. Thoughts?

      If you get the TempSpike plus it’ll work. It’s a smaller thinner probe.

    To avoid having to swap out the grills do you think just using the grill function on low , with the smoke flavour button on might give the same results ?

    How long did you let the pellets smoke before adding the burgers?

      Just let it go through the ignition process and added them on when the unit said add food.

    I made some “wood fire” burgers on the grill setting. I got these new Bear Mountain pellets that didn’t seem to quite go up in smoke like my previous attempts. I’m wondering if anyone else ever botches the pellet ignition because it’s the first time it happened to me. Burgers were perfect otherwise although hardly any smoke flavor.

      Sometimes the pellets just don’t fire. I keep an eye on my cooks to make sure the smoke is rolling and if the pellets are ignited. Otherwise hot that the wood fire button and it will trigger the ign again.

    I contacted Ninja and BBQ guys yesterday, 21 Aug 23, bout the new and larger pro connect xl (OG952). I asked a simple question - what is the length and width in inches for the actual cooking area where the food is placed on. Neither could answer this simple question; totally got smoke blown up my six. Just to add Ninja and BBQ guys list the max temp for the pro connect XL at 500 F. If anybody has the pro connect XL will you please measure the length and width of the actual cooking surface. thanks

    I reverse sear all the time my burgers. You don't have to clean the grill plate if you aren't cooking bacon. That is what was making the mess for him. I would just cook the bacon in a pan in the house myself and then assemble the burger. Good video however.

      This is going to be my 1st time using my Ninja 7-1 smoker. Please help! All I want to do is make hamburgers and a couple of hotdogs. How long do I let it heat up?? ( before I add the patties???? A step by step would help.

    I've used ALL charcoal pellets (Royal Oak) and really don't taste the charcoal flavor at all. ;-( Love your videos.
