I'm so VERY glad that the Phazer is indeed working out for you! I'm also hoping that what you SEEM to be implying is also happening, which is what I suggested to you long ago (which I believe was already in your noggin), that you are in the nascent format of creating a Phazer Biz for Alternative Engines for ELSA's.......getting rid of those fuel hogging 582's, offering an AFFORDABLE alternative to the HKS's and Rotax 4 Strokes! Happier than one of Ivar's Clams that it really is beginning to take form for you...! Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY
I just came in to say hello from a video Jonas posted yesterday that you commented on. I'm from a smidgen S of Flint and try to follow most anyone I come across from MI here, TikTok and IG. I'm interested in flying but probably won't due to $ and my priority now is getting back on my Goldwing to see the country after getting grounded for 2 years. Our fam had a cabin a few miles north of the catastrophic dam failure for many years. Are near there bc you mentioned beets in a prev vid.
Hi Ben awesome work. I’m very close to finishing my model 1 kitfox with a phazer using your adapter plate. I’m stuck on the air box now. Is there anyway I can buy your air box or the file? I’m also gonna order your speed sensor!
Hi Ben I have a challenging project that currently have a 582. The challenge is the engine is and how down the gear box needs to be. My plane is a Streak Shadow (British ultralight). Can you check the model and let me know if is possible to install the phaser on it. I don't want to buy an engine that is no going to work in my airframe.
I had a Phazer snowmobile. It was a great sled but that was decades ago. I also have an Avid Flyer with a 582 and a Kolb. I really don't see any advantage of a Phazer motor especially considering the work needed to do the conversion. My Phazer was a 2 stroke. I'm pretty sure I would have lost power had I tried to adapt a 4 stroke muffler to my sled.
Awesome Ben! This is the bushplane / engine matchup I've been waiting for. Can't wait for some performance numbers.

I've been waiting for this video for a long time. Good job!
Glad to see you back! Nice install on the Kitfox.
Congratulations! It looks like you've done another great job with a Phazer engine conversion.
Hey Ben: Just to let you know, I've been following your site. Looking for a Phazer to put on my Titan Tornado project. Keep the info coming! Roger.
thank you for sharing this amazing video, planning to buy a 150hp Yamaha Apex engine, do you know the source of that great machine seller? thank you
Nice little setup!
Just a very interesting video , thank you
Beautiful project!
Could you build another mount for a kitfox? I want to get rid of the 582 so bad. I would love to do a phazer swap.
I bet you get much better mpg with the fazer over the 582 ,I would like to see a comparison.
the coffee cup spinner looked good matches the cowl

Hey Mick, I'm near 69G, not too far!
Nice job. Would there be a possibility of one fitting on a Gyrobee/StarBee gyrocopter?
release the part two, i like the sound of it.
Hey man cool plane , question for you how did you get the sled cluster to show you airspeed? Is there a part I can order to do that same thing ?
Yup you beet me to it , I have a kit 3 and a phazor conversion just need to assemble
Johnny Knoxville fly’s a kit fox?
Great job! Phazor will be my 503 replacement. TWINSTAR KOLB
Hey would like to do this to mine any pointer or parts you would sell me?

It's kinda hilarious just how much this sounds like a motorbike. Seems to go alright though. Are you getting full RPM on takeoff?

Looks like it would work. A custom engine mount will be required
The prop seems way too close to the cowlings. Don't you think?

2007+ 4stroke phazer, fuel injection, 80 hp, 50% less fuel burn. Turn key operation. No 300 hr tbo , etc etc
With that setup what's the weight of the engine? Also what horsepower? That's wicked cool man!
Liquid-cooled? where is all the plumbing?
The previous engine (rotax 582) was liquid cooled as well. Just connected to existing radiator.
Any ide on the average weigth of this engine dressed ready to fly.?
about 130 lbs
@@bkairys thank you
How did you get air speed to show up on speedometer?

What is wrong with an aluminum oil funnel for Prop flange? 10 bucks at Tractor Supply.👍🤣
The thermos lid looks better.
Nice !
I hate to say it but that motor doesn't sound right , sounds like low RPM
It's got 80 hp
.
Perky!
