Love the new 4760 eco-tank printers. Setup was a snap but when all was said and done I did run into a problem. No matter what I tried my printer was not seen by my pc. Tried everything but no luck until I changed my ethernet cable and that did the trick. Problem was that my existing cable was using a coupler and that was the cause of the problem
First of all I love the machine in compared my old one would use cartridges seems like every time I went to use the ink would run out only thing I would like to have them do please make the screen a little bit bigger less complicated other than that I love the machine I'm glad I spent the money I wonder why they keep changing the numbers maybe for each year

I just purchased the ET-4760 and I am attempting to scan - it is asking me to install the Epson Event Manager softeware in the computer...what does this mean?
Dustin Mac you can do this on a home computer desktop the same way. Just make sure the home computer is connected to the same internet connection as the printer. Good luck and happy printing!!
@@epsonamerica So it seems there are internet scams that have bottlenecked me to believe the solution to my scan functions are to pay premiums of $10 a month. I have deterred from it. Also, i don't understand why i must pay $500 for my printer and realize i need additional software downloads to scan. its def not a turn key, user friends feel.
Was that in the owners manual? I have never heard such a thing, it’s possible that you are being scammed. Read everything in the manual. Mine doesn’t say anything like that. No printer manufacturer will ever ask for a monthly fee for their sold printers to be used.

Go to the Epson site and download the 4760 update package. It is free.

Poorly designed printer. Screen is too small for adult human fingers. Scanning function doesn't work.
