I Tried Ordering Live Fish in the Mail

- I tried to order live fish and live corals in the mail. A lot of people don't really know how the process of shipping fish through the mail works, so I figured I'd try it out on camera and show you guys! I had a bad time a year or two ago when I tried to do this and ended up with 4 shipments in a row of dead fish, so I wanted to try it again and see how, or if, it works!
The only two websites I used today were
liveaquaria.com and cherrycorals.com
I'm working on saving up my money to get my own place again, but after that I want to start diving in (hehehe no pun intended) to upgrading and working on my tank again and maybe start up a second tank as well, and just get back into aquarium videos!
just an fyi when shopping for coral frags online pls remember most coral sellers take pics of their corals under black light and they will look less colorful under regular reef lights.
also I broke my camera in the process of filming this on top of blowing money on so many fish so pls watch ads thanks love u xoxo

Loved this video. Found it while trying to talk myself into buying betta fish and watching fish videos. Ended up watching your addiction video and wanted to thank you for being honest and sharing what I'm guessing is some of the darkest days of your story. I lost my mom in 2012 to addiction and it hasn't been an easy thing to deal with but I hope you are keeping up the fight and I hope more people around you have rallied to the call as well cause like you said, you can't do it alone. Another thing you can do instead of sucking on the airline to start the water flow is use a pipette (one of those little plastic tubes with the bulb on the end you squeeze). You have to find one that fits into your pipe with no space around it, but then you can put that in the end and squeeze it several times and it’ll start it. I have horrible OCD and I would have panic attacks when I would get tank water in my mouth and I realized that works perfect

Fatal Flaw she got a few fish to add into a tank she already had. Not the same as what she was doing before. Before she she using animals so supplement her addiction, now she’s in a healthy state of mind and she’s getting fish that already have the same tank+care unlike other animals that need their individual enclosure+care.
You are adorable but dude, honestly I can't believe no one is pointing out why it is that if you keep receiving dead fish in the mail you still tried this out with the risk of putting more fishes on a death journey. I've seen how you care about animals and create a bond with them this really sounds like them being dead during the travel could piss you off but not really deter you from keep doing it? @@songbirdquin took me a while to figure it out because i dont watch pewdiepie, but he must do an 'in memory' montage if some character dies or something and the way taylor made that little lead up saying if he dies etc. probably made them think the fish didnt survive the trip. But you never know, i could be way off 😂

I don’t order anything off the internet because the fish mostly come dead and saltwater fish are expensive I just go to the aquarium store by me then risking them dead for expensive fish. It’s to cold where I live to be shipping them out. The temps drop to negatives during our winter time. But it is fun to see the different fish.

You should never order fish online because it is a bumpy transport on anything-even a person carrying it to your house! they can hit the side of whatever they are transported in and can break there weak little bones. Just because they are called "Siamese Fighting Fish", does not mean they can handle such roughness. I did not learn this from experience but I do have a beloved Betta fish named Betty. I was worried about her one day because I forgot to feed her in the morning. I looked up ways how your Betta fish could possibly die, and one of the ways was being ordered online. like you said, the first time they came in dead but maybe It was something else that caused their death but they died. And the website was vet approved.
