Wash day regiment for my low porosity thin texture hair: Clarifying shampoo; treatment shampoo; conditioner w/heat or steam; leave/in conditioner; h2 pro heat protection; fizz tamer if flat ironing. 5-6 products at the most.
Before Crystal, I only used two products. Shampoo & sometime conditioner. Never knew anything about porosity, leave in or heat
protection. Never knew how to detangling my hair, which keep me from retaining length.
Now my hair is healthier & retains it’s length.

Good info. There are no RUclips content creators with all my hair characteristics, so it’s definitely been trial and error regarding taking others advice based on their individual experiences. I have 4c, high porosity, fine strands, with medium to low density hair. All these characteristics lend to length retention being the hardest to achieve, in my opinion. I grew my hair pretty long (for me anyway) before, but the minute I wanted to start wearing my hair to show off my length, my hair was like NOPE! 😅 I started trying Ayurvedic herbs in my hair regimen a couple of months ago and so far, I’m seeing positive results. I’ll stay consistent for about a year and see how it goes.

Which products do you use?
The hydra strength leave in, clarifying shampoo, the repair serum, the Balm, the repair and restore shampoo and conditioner but if need moisture I use the moisture shampoo and conditioner. It depends what the hair needs at that time

Great video!!!When I realized my hair was high porosity because my hair was bleached, I was able to start retaining length because I started using the right products. Plus I cut off the bad ends.

My black color was black… wanted go gray and let my hair grow. It was down to my collarbone. Low volume bleach took out the black…. And my hair is now a pixie length. I just cried… it melted my hair. Brush thru it and all the rest just loaded up my brush.

I have no idea what porosity is nor how it relates to my hair. Never heard of it until you mentioned it.
I have gray thin hair that is neither kinky no curly mostly straight and I’m not sure what product I should use. It itches like mad, and I went to a dermatologist, whose only response was that he didn’t see anything. I’m not sure if it’s something blood-borne, which you wouldn’t see anyway or if it is some type of infection from my skin. I’m mostly trying to find some thing for the itch and to help with growth

I just found out that i have Thyroid problem. My hair is so dry and so course it feel like a Brillo pads. What products should I use?
My hair is salt and pepper wiry and coarse with medium to thick density and I was low porosity but now I'm not sure and my hair is dry but not brittle. I have your Elite Moisture Shampoo, Conditioner, Moist Me 24kt Mask and the leave in. I also have the Hair and Scalp Balm and I've only been using the products for 2 1/2 weeks and I wash my hair every 7 days

Fine texture low porosity
My hair is low porosity, medium to coarse hair, dense but thinning due to high blood pressure medication, and I'm natural with sisterlocks. I have your moist repair shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. My hair is still very dry. However, I do not have the moist me 24 karats mask. Also, I don't have a hair dryer or hydration steamer. Where can I purchase these? Also, should I be using a clarifying shampoo before the moist repair? The reason I asked was the last time I used a clarifying shampoo (not your product) my hair was dry. Much the same as my hair, dry and doesn’t hold moisture. And it’s been getting dandruff that’s looks like dirt soon after I wash, and scabbing after about a week. Do you give tips and analysis on that? Also, are you located in Atlanta?

The women in my community had healthy hair and no body talked about any of this years ago. we all used pretty much the same products off the shelf within the black community with no problem. I think part of this issue with unhealthy hair is declining health in the general population amongst people of all ages, side effects from medication and sedentary lifestyle.Also the so called protective hairstyles (wigs, weaves and braids with fake hair) cause more damage than good.
