I just competitive music man. It didn’t need to be personal. If it went back and forth, I can see how pressure would start to have personal shit said. Then ok let’s stop. Idk.
Kendrick must have some special information and called Cole. “If you don’t want this to leak, you gonna do exactly what I say!”. There is literally no other way man 😂😂😂
Coles response was not underwhelming. Although I hate that he apologized.... Because why.... His clap back was ridiculous. If you don't agree then you just got Kendrick meat in your mouth. J. Cole isn't even my favorite artist. I am just being completely honest that many people don't know music or just had it in their head from the beginning that Kendrick Lamar can never lose. Which is dumb. If you want to come at Cole for the apology then do that... Matter of fact ill join you. But we not about to disrespect J. Cole response track. It was 🔥🔥🔥
I dont know why people think this whole project is a diss. He been working on this for months. The only actual diss was the diss track. Everything else is just regualr rap shit

The disappointment from rap fans comes from always wanting to see them go bar for bar before Kendrick even made the verse anyway so this was their excuse to see them battle & highkey because they know that Drake wont respond or take his time (time that they dont want to wait for). So its "well at least we get cole & kdot" but never took into account this isnt even his beef. Those bars from "Like That" where 90% Drake & 10% Cole & I think Cole realized mid battle that its not even his fight. It is disappointing because if that's the case, he should have kept quiet all together but that just bleeds into my original point and how he felt rushed into doing something that he didnt even want to do.
Lovelyti brought up a great point!. He was being cancelled by a certain community y'all should know by now & I wonder if that had something to do w/ that apology?? But don't take back what you said directly to Kenny hahhah Even if he got a call or felt bad about this & that either don't respond orrrrrrrr just stand in your shit don't back track and be like OH I WAS JUS PLAYING
I liked how you framed your critique of 7-minute drill. Cole could have done so much better with a response if he was more authentic with his content. He could of easily decided to go after Kendrick AND Drake to further separate himself as the GOAT- so he made a low-energy strategic mistake. And honestly he could have even apologized to his fans for a lackluster response and followed it up by he'll make it up and put out a second/better track, but to just retreat and basically say Kendrick is better is just a bad look for him and for rap.
love ur videos bro tiny bit of constructive criticism: pls lower the amount of “i love so and so… but” you already prefaced at the beginming you’re a fan of j cole and like his music it just feels like you’re rambling a bit. Even if he does see this video you’re only breaking down the situation as you see it
The way this went down reminds me of the kdot bar where he was “I promise u’ll see candy man”… Nicki failed so hard on that big foot track she couldn’t be in the BIG 3, I’d nominate xxx first, just off the strength he didn’t back down.. so j. Cole @ like 4 or 5 in the BIG 3.
I disagree with one of your ending statements. Drake is still 3. Drake is not going to respond, and if he does, it's getting someone that's not him to jump kendrick
drake being silent could work in his favor if he drops by the end of the week. but i agree, future needs to be in this convo at this point his influence alone holds so much weight.
I actually think Cole was talking about GKMC being the boring one that people gassed because on the Joe Budden podcast they said that Cole loved TPAB so much that he tried borrowing a similar TPAB style for his album “4 your eyez only”. So I think the albums that Cole thought was hot from Kendrick is Section 80 and TPAB.
Maybe? Was it just me or did anyone notice the change in Cole that year he dropped For Your Eyes Only? I swear he was gone for some years and popped out with dreadlocks, and his cadence when he raps reminded me of Kendrick so much! He was biting his flow hard. Tbh if you’re a Cole Fan you’re also a fan of some or maybe all of Kendrick’s projects. This “Beef” is showing true colors of the fans. “When shit hit the fan is you still a fan?” -Kendrick Lamar

You do know he hopped on a song with someone who doesn't like Kendrick and Cole knew that. Drake dissed Kendrick so much on FPS so they had this coming from Kendrick. I think Cole realized he chose the wrong side and now he has to live with it.
@@cartiercartier2171 I fully agree.
@8:14 You Ain't Gotta Lie - Kendrick Lamar, TPB
I just competitive music man. It didn’t need to be personal. If it went back and forth, I can see how pressure would start to have personal shit said. Then ok let’s stop. Idk.
Exactly some people ain't built for it ;)
Your hair is amazing man😭
Thumbnail goes hard icl 😂
J. Cole fans like oh I still respect this man but it was after they wanted the beef fake fans I see😂
Kendrick must have some special information and called Cole. “If you don’t want this to leak, you gonna do exactly what I say!”. There is literally no other way man 😂😂😂
There is but L.Cole fans won't except it 😅
Music subjective so TPAB might be mid to others
Exactly, its opinion until it comes to the who quit part
New here. Wtf does “in a vacuum” mean😅. Lost me right there i kept watching but thats some new lingo
It was 🔥🔥🔥
We're truly living in the weirdest timeline
I dont know why people think this whole project is a diss. He been working on this for months. The only actual diss was the diss track. Everything else is just regualr rap shit
He should’ve not added 7 min air on the album 😂
18:06 how does profanity and RUclips monetization work? I thought you could let a few words slip here and there and it still be ok lol
But good job on this breakdown bruv!!! Cole def left us all disappointed af
Don’t think he can recover from this the same as before
That damn eclipse took Coles bending away
I also love wrestling and I pop every time I see a reference to it in an unrelated video
beats kinda sold him too shits was not it
The disappointment from rap fans comes from always wanting to see them go bar for bar before Kendrick even made the verse anyway so this was their excuse to see them battle & highkey because they know that Drake wont respond or take his time (time that they dont want to wait for).
Naah fam,10% is still 10% smoke.
Cole knows he aint built like that and coodoes to him,he apologized within 2 days.
Hes not built for this its ok to except that too
Lovelyti brought up a great point!. He was being cancelled by a certain community y'all should know by now
& I wonder if that had something to do w/ that apology?? But don't take back what you said directly to Kenny hahhah
Even if he got a call or felt bad about this & that either don't respond orrrrrrrr just stand in your shit don't back track and be like OH I WAS JUS PLAYING
“Might apologize later”
DAMN is way better than TPAB
Even if he does see this video you’re only breaking down the situation as you see it
The way this went down reminds me of the kdot bar where he was “I promise u’ll see candy man”…
Nicki failed so hard on that big foot track she couldn’t be in the BIG 3, I’d nominate xxx first, just off the strength he didn’t back down.. so j. Cole @ like 4 or 5 in the BIG 3.
I disagree with one of your ending statements. Drake is still 3. Drake is not going to respond, and if he does, it's getting someone that's not him to jump kendrick
Yeah he basically threw the whole project away... I don't understand it...
drake being silent could work in his favor if he drops by the end of the week. but i agree, future needs to be in this convo at this point his influence alone holds so much weight.
This was definitely grounds for termination after that …corrective action must be taken 😂
What people don’t get is they’ve been sending subliminals at each other sense control
