Don’t you love it when it’s a simple fix? I just went through something similar on my push mower. It is two years old. After loaning it to a friend last summer, it wouldn’t start. It has a Briggs engine on it with an all plastic carb. I took it off and couldn’t figure out how to take it apart... it had no screws, no adjustments and no choke. I met a guy sometime back who tinkers with small engines. I called him up and arranged to bring it by. When I unloaded it, I asked him if he would have it ready the next day. He looked at the carb and said, “Are you in a hurry? This’ll take about 30 minutes.” He pulled out the carb, popped it apart and poked a wire through one of the holes. A wadded up blade of grass popped out. He sprayed it with carb cleaner put it back together and in 20 minutes flat we were loading it back on my pickup! I asked him what I owed him and he said, “$20!” I guess I looked stunned because he then said, “I don’t really charge $60 per hour. But, I have a minimum charge of twenty bucks.” I gave him $30 and told him, the extra $10 was for the lesson. He said, “Did you learn how to fix it yourself the next time?” I told him “Maybe. But, that ain’t the lesson that I learned. I meant the lesson that I shouldn’t loan out my lawnmower!” He grinned and I smiled all the way home!!! I’m thinking that Bruno could power that Jumping Jack... he has stamina and rhythm. All you need to do is make you trench look like a treadmill!!! Nice job showing this fix. Years ago me and my brother would pick up lawn mowers from the side of the road to fix up, most of the time we would get it home and a new plug and a clean carb and it was good to go. Made a good bit of pocket money from this in high school lol. I was glad that is was a simple fix, but it was so frustrating when you are an hour and half from home and the bloody thing won't start. I impressed myself that it made it back to the shop in one piece lol. Bruno is a champ on that tread mill now, when covid 19 first hit here, all the dog parks closed down and we have a very tiny yard. After day three it was clear he needed to learn how to run on the tread mill. Thanks for watching.

Hello, why does my bs50-2 plus dies after 8-10 seconds after put into full throttle? have you ran into a situation like this? what could be the cause? Thank you !
