    Loved to hear the Swedish national anthem on landing! :D Cool to see Sturup airport once again, I spent a lot of time there when I took all my ATPL exams there. Even though I don't have any relatives in Sweden it's become my second home somewhat too

    After several missed/skipped items during single pilot operations when using my "check list" as a do-list, I changed my SOPs: I now have several parts I still use as Do-Lists (like engine start etc), however my before takeoff, after take-off and descent/approach items I use as a check list. This means I do the items by flow first (NOT using my written checklist) and then I verify the result with my checklist. Otherwise there is no redundancy.

      @@MickeLang No worries buddy, I suppose ATC made a mistake too as they're suppose to listen to your read back and correct discrepancies and they didn't, that's why I had to listen to it twice :D. But since runways are based on magnetic compass so perhaps it was closer to 34 than 35 :) so its all good. Happy landing

    Hallo Micke, grüsse from Argentina.
    I have a question for you: I have seen in some US GA videos when a pilot approaches to a non-controlled airport/airfield, they have the option to turn on the landing lights by pressing the mic button several times. Is that the same in Europe?
    If you decide to answer I´ll be very greatfull.
    Cheers from NE Patagonia.

    Hi Micke,
    wie groß bist Du eigentlich. Ich habe eigentlich extra wegen der DA62 den PPL gemacht und dann anschließend festgestellt, dass das mit der DA 62 echt eng wird. In einer DA 40 kann ich mit meinen 1.95 m eigentlich nicht fliegen und so weit ich weiß , hat die DA62 den gleichen Rumpf. Lässt sich seitens Diamond da was machen, Sitz tiefer oder weiter nach hinten. Es fehlen vielleicht 3-5 cm unter der Haube und zum Dashboard und ich wäre happy. Es wäre super wenn Du mir drei Zeilen antworten könntest.

    • @MickeLang
      @MickeLang  Год назад

      Hi!
      das finde ich gut, dass du das glaubst, weil die Wahrheit ist eine Andere ;)
      Die 62 hat einen ganz anderen Rumpf als die 40 und 42 ;)
      Ich bin 1,93m und sitze in der 62er wie ein König, kein Sales Gedanke hier, das ist meine ehrliche Meinung!
      Warst du schon mal bei einer Demo? Ich würde vorschlagen sich selber einmal reinzusetzen ;)
      Hoffe das hat geholfen!
      LG Micke :)

      @@MickeLang Danke für die schnelle Antwort, ich hatte vor fünf Jahren mit dem sales represantative Herr Bauer zu tun, und habe mich da auch mal bei der AERO reingesetzt. Da war ich aber noch Fussgänger und neben einem Mittelklasse Pkw sind ja alle Flieger eher eng. Eine Atlantiküberquerung weiter u.a. Wick, Rejkjavik,Kulusuk. Narsasuak, Iqualit, Buffallo, Oshkosh weiter will ich mir jetzt den Traum erfüllen. PPL und IFR Theorie habe ich. Hier im Verein passe ich halt in keinen IFR Flieger rein. Nach Deinen Zeilen wäre ne Strategie die CBIR dann mit einem FI im eigenen Flieger durchzuziehen. Daher stimmst Du mich hoffnungsfroh, ich fliege jetzt einfach nach Wien zum Probesitzen. Ansonsten weiter so Deine Videos wecken schöne Erinnerungen an lange Stunden über dem Nordatlantik.
