  • In this video, Phil from RightRope talks about 6 different types of bull/rigging #arboristrope that are in-stock and ready to ship from our warehouse. You may hear the term #bullrope, or #riggingrope but they refer to the same thing. Arborist bull/rigging ropes are generally used to lower limbs and pull trees down, so they are some of the strongest and more durable ropes available. Phil shares some of the highlights of each bull/rigging rope to help you make the right choice for your application.
At #RightRope, all of our ropes are in stock and ready to go. We offer fast, same-day shipping on all of our products. When you shop RightRope, you can be sure you’re getting the right #rope at the right price.

Thanks Phil. I need to fell some dead trees on my land that are leaning toward my fencing and road, so I just ordered 100' of your 5.8" Arborist's Bull Rope from your Amazon store.

I never knew there were so many different types of ropes. Phil does a great job explaining each type and their load limits.

Hi Phil, I have a 32 Strand polyester Teufelberger Sirius 12mm bull rope and it was absolutely no good I only use it for the second time and the core crushed-flat and the fibre slapped-broken, when I pulled a 200 pound broken branch down diagonally from tree. What’s the reason for this is it because it has too many strands: 32?

The Teufelberger Sirius bull rope is a great rope for rigging and pulling, but really needs to be used with blocks, pulleys or rings. It will get chewed up pretty easily if you are natural crotching. A lot of double braids, including ours, are braided loosely enough to be spliced. This makes a strong, soft, easy handling rope, but definitely less durable. If you need a very durable, tightly braided rope, the Wonder Rope is the toughest.
