Seeing Gojo vs sukuna in its entirety kinda shows how sukuna was just trying to sit back and wait for mahoraga to adapt to Gojo’s infinity while Gojo was doing a great job at making that whole process difficult even in a 3v1

Gojo didn't make it that difficult he hit sukuna twice with purple once being at 200 percent that sukuna was able to tank other than that yeah it was difficult for sukuna to hold back as much as he did
Gojo claimed that he might not win even if Sukuna was not in Megumi body. However don't forget that Sukuna also claimed that he was afraid of Unlimited Void and Hollow purple so that he had to use Mahoraga to handle both.

@@giovannieriksandu2432 in chapter 234 he was afraid of a hollow purple cause he said a 100 percent hollow purple would be fatal for him and final hollow purple was used as a bomb for an aoe explosion so sukuna didnt die.

Honestly a crazy plot twist finding out that sukuna only needed and wanted megumi so he can use mahoraga to upgrade his CT and that fighting gojo was only dragged out because sukuna waited for mahoraga to finaly adapt in a way that he can use to upgrade his ct after many adaptations.

Yeah if sukuna didn't have TS he'd probably be really aggressive when he first wins the domain clash he'd probably pull out fire arrow like he did against maho. Or maybe wed actually see his true curse technique. It seems to be implied by gojo that it'd happen like that or sukuna could've possibly gotten through infinity in a similar way he did in the manga experimenting with his cleave until it can cut through the world

When the egotistical delusional prodigy that is gojo fights against sukuna at full power with the six eyes even admits that he isn't sure if he'd win and also says sukuna is not only taking damage on purpose but also not going all out it's pretty obvious to real manga readers and people that have brains that a 1v1 isn't in Gojo favor. If you even have a menuet amount of reading comprehension you wouldn't even need gojo to tell you that the fight tells you that itself. I could've told you sukuna wasn't going all out before it was stated. He tanked purple twice and we still don't know his CT that should be an easy red flag for people with a brain
I think they are either misunderstanding it or they simply read another manga, Sukuna intended to kill Gojo when he disabled him to expand his domain, his goal was never to have Megumi and Mahoraga to improve his technique, his goal was to kill Gojo, he only devised such a thing once things didn't go as planned, and another thing, Sukuna had an advantage from the beginning not only because he had Megumi's soul to camouflage the adaptation and be able to adapt to infinity freely, it also had information about Gojo's domain (which is why he won the first two domain clashes), something that seemed to me It's half ridiculous that Gojo didn't know about Sukuna's expansion range when there was already a precedent for its use in Shibuya and everyone else knew it XD (Sukuna in Shibuya extended its domain to 180 meters, its maximum is 200 meters, Gojo with his expansion does not cover either figure so he is easily at a disadvantage by default if he doesn't know anything).
Psdt: By saying that Sukuna won the first two domains by having information, I mean what Kenjaku gave him during the operation of his safe blow, when Gojo fought with Jogo he never explained how the safe blow of his domain works (they are different depending on the technique), Sukuna had no way of knowing and in the fight itself it is revealed to us that the one who told him about it was Kenjaku.

Even if I hate the execution, the idea Sukuna treated a fight with the one man able to kill him for real primarily as an experiment to improve Dismantle instead of a live-or-death struggle he has to throw his all into to survive is amazingly in character.

having megumi's soul tank unlinimited void so mahoraga could adapt to it was a very clever way for sukuna to deal with gojo's domain. Had sukuna opened the fight with mahoraga without consideration of unlinimited void, gojo probably would've one shotted mahoraga.

@@vibe7416there is literally, nothing supporting the idea gojo held back, yet there is several pieces of evidence saying sukuna did. Also, there is literally nothing gojo could do if sukuna breaks the barrier from both sides, if the inside of fragile, he breaks that, if the outside is, he breaks that.
@Starlight9544_ in sykuna case he did not hold back but used a different approach which made it more challenging for him. Yes he hid some attacks but if he used that it would've ruined his plans or approach with what he was aiming for. He wanted to improve his dismantle and use of ten shadows helped in that regards to level up.
It's like chess in terms of choosing ur openings he chose a harder opening, but one that guarantees a cleaner end game.... high risk, high reward. Thus gojo even said he's not sure he'd would win even without the 10 shadows technique cause that would be sykuna using an opening he is comfortable with and even if end game would not be as clean he can use it effectively and be deadly and more creative.
Full battle explained: gojo made a judgement error and it cost him his life and it wasnt even during the battle, it was leaving megumi unprotected knowing that he had access to mahoraga.

Tbh my bigger issue is with the afterlife conversation. All the talk about loneliness is fine but this dude's whole thing was wanting to foster a new generation of strong students and yet he barely even mentions one of said students and blatantly disregards the fact that the guy who he says is stronger than him is still in possession of Megumi's body. Not to mention he was praising and feeling sorry for Sukuna but not Megumi? Not Yuji? No words of encouragement to Geto, Nanami etc. about how the new generation has it from here? It is what it is, but you can't tell me something like that wouldn't have been more satisfying if Gojo is dead dead as he appears to be. If we never get to see Gojo again his send off was very weak when you think about the battle left behind for his students.

I understand that Gojo himself said that he would still lose if Sukuna didn't have the Ten shadows technique, but I just think that's added to give Sukuna relevance. Gojo clearly overwhelms Agito, SUKUNA and MAHORAGA!!! Some might argue that Sukuna held back and still needed to continue his evolution, but I can say the same for Gojo, even with him being so OP, I still think Gojo needs to learn perfect control over his cursed energy.

I feel like I need to watch a lot of videos explaining this fight to understand everything in detail. At the moment I am just wondering about this - Sukuna use Mahoraga to understand and bypass Gojo's limitless, but at the end Mahoraga is gone so... Did he absorb the technique or did he gain understanding from just watching the fight? Sorry if it is a silly question, just curious about the specifics.
He gained understanding on how to replicate it. Just as Angel foreshadowed earlier in the fight, if Sukuna sees how a technique is done once, he can grasp and fully utilize it himself

A small correction in your analysis of chapter 230 from 11:52-11:56, that is.......Sukuna didn't use DA and Ten shadows at the same time (they can'tbe used at the same time).......starting from the 3rd domain sukuna didn't use DA because he is making Mahoraga to adapt to UV that's the reason why Gojo is dominating sukuna inside the domain.

@@DJMilez Plus, gojo mentioned in chapter 228 that sukuna could've destroyed unlimited void from inside. But he chose the riskier option and destroyed it from outside. Probably because staying inside unlimited void for a longer period of time was beneficial for the adaptation process. If he had destroyed it from inside, he could've avoided 3 min fight inside domain and could've avoided getting hit with unlimited void. This is probably why gojo mentioned he's unsure if he could beat sukuna even if he didn't have ten shadows. Because gojo getting brain damage was guaranteed while sukuna's was not.

@@manujgupta5183 Both of their domains were evenly matched only inside gojo's barrier. Sukuna's domain expanded beyond gojo's barrier. Actually, if you read chapter 227, their domains were evenly matched even when sukuna expanded it to it's maximum range. If sukuna had tried to limit his domain's range to gojo's barrier, malevolent shrine would've overwhelmed unlimited void in an instant. Because the smaller the domain is, quality increases. His domain having a range bigger than unlimited void while maintaining the same quality as UV is itself is a proof that malevolent shrine is a stronger domain no matter what. This is only one option. As for your question, sukuna could've manually used his ct to destroy UV from inside. If you read chapter 229, you can see that gojo was actively using limitless to thrash around sukuna inside the domain. That means sukuna even stopped using domain amplification inside the domain to not interrupt the adaptation process. He had full control in domain clashes until he made a mistake and got hit with unlimited void. A mistake that he would've avoided if he didn't have ten shadows.

I believe sukuna himself said that if he gets hit by a second hollow purple he would be finished, however when he got hit with the hollow purple he actually survived. My theory for this is that gojo’s first hollow purple was amped by utahime, so sukuna thought gojos hollow purple was much stronger than it actually was so when he got hit with a second hollow purple that wasn’t amped sukuna ended up surviving.
Sukuna knew that first hollow purple was 200%(but weakened due to the distance). The reason he survived is the fact that gojo didn't fire it like a beam but expoded and because of that sukuna took less damage
@@user-tm9dd3bd2u so a 200% purple fired regularly would have killed Sukuna? The way he fired it as an explosion wiped Mahoraga off the face of the earth, so in theory if Sukuna was hit by a standard Hollow Purple at 200% it would be fatal?

The 2nd hollow purple is "imperfect" cause Gojo blown it up, if Sukuna get hit by "perfect" hollow purple, he'll probably died or at least suffer a fatal damage
@@Subpar1O1 it really depends, sukuna would have many ways to dodge a beam hollow purple, and/or loose only non vital parts, the only way I really think you can kill sukuna with hollow purple is by blowing it up like the second one in AOE at close range, multiple times in a very short time span, which is kind of impossible due to the cursed energy it takes to summon it, it's only my opinion tho based on what I've red so far about jjk

Did Sukuna kill/destroy several Shikigami to summon Chimera Agito or just combine four Shikigami to summon Chimera Agito (like Megumi combined Nue and Toads)?
Well we do know they had to die for that fusion to happen (most likely) but hopefully we'll get that answer revealed in later chapters.
Sukuna didn't win because he was stronger, he just had better battle instincts. Gojo got overconfident once he got rid of mahoraga, smirking thinking all is good, and boom he got sniped. What he should've done is immediately open his domain because at this point gojos back to nornal rct output due to his consecutive black flash, kill sukuna with infinity void. This is completely on gojo

2. Thats still megumis body, while he wasnt holding back he sure as shit wasnt going for the OHKO because theres 1 point where he couldve ended that whole fight

•Then amped his already full power even more by eating various cursed items

Sukuna needed all of that prep time and multiple amps just to stand a fighting chance against base Gojo. Sukuna was not holding back at all, that’s bs.

•Gojo brought Sukuna to near death at least 7 times in 11 chapters
•Sukuna used the 10 shadows to adapt to void just to have a fighting chance at countering
•Domain Expansion is the pinnacle of sorcery, it has been established in the world lore. Sukuna used Domain Expansion at least 5 times, his strongest technique against Gojo.
The narrator and Sukuna fans claim that Sukuna isn’t even trying yet Sukuna almost died multiple times, needed to adapt/create a new technique just to counter Gojo, and used his strongest technique multiple times against Gojo. Sukuna literally tried his hardest just to survive.

heian era sukuna would defeat gojo if he was going all out in this fight sukuna wasnt fighting only to kill gojo but improve his dismantle technique to make it stronger as seen how he easily one shots kashimo with the new world ending slash
Heian era form sukuna would just obliterate gojo once he destroys his domain because he can make his slashes stronger with the incantations and sukuna would never lose to a hand to hand combat because of his 4 arms, meaning his domain would never break. Gojo only had a chance because he was able to activate his last domain a little bit faster than sukuna cuz he needed to rct his damage from hand to hand combat. If that was Heian era form, he would be able to activate his domain in time and gojo will lose because he is over exerting himself by using rct to heal his burnt out ct too many times.

Gojo says Sukuna wasn't even trying to win the domain clashes and was letting them go on longer than they should have, even though he was getting beat up inside them. Without Mahoraga, he wouldn't, and he'd just crush Gojo in the domain clashes. With 4 hands and two mouths constantly chanting whilst fighting, Gojo wouldn't make it past the 2nd domain clash.

@@GabeSolos that one time UV hits is the result of Sukuna choosing to fight the way he fought. If Sukuna just sticks to immediately destroying Gojo's barrier from the weaker side, the fights inside the domain don't go on long enough for him to get the injuries he had to heal before casting his domain which made him 0.01 seconds late which is the only reason UV hit. He has no reason to not just destroy UV if he has no mahoraga because mahoraga is the reason he let the clashes last long to begin with. He was giving it time to adapt to Gojo's CT whilst they fought. Gojo would just be the only one whose brain gets fried since getting hit by UV is the reason Sukuna's brain was fried to begin with. He isn't winning the fight if he's in Sukuna's domain using RCT and FBE the entire time with his brain fried. Sukuna with two more arms and an extra mouth would just immediately kill him once it got to that point.

Can someone please explain to me, how Sukuna was able to do all this nonsense with Megumi's soul in the fight? Because from my understanding, this contradicts everything that we knew about soul = body and vice versa.
This really did feel like Gege writing himself into a corner, trying to outdo himself, and then in typical, Gege-esque fashion, overcomplicating not only what could have been a simple explanaition, but taking completely unnecessary route in this fight for a shock value and some plot shenanigans.
So, my questions are, how was Sukuna able to:
1) transfer damage from the previously established brain attacking sure-hit to a soul inside the body he possesses.
2) Seperate during domain clashes his soul and Megumi's body from Megumi's soul, so that his specific CT, imbued into domain, does not protect him, even though it's stated, that his sure affect does not affect him inside the domain, but still, he is fine and Megumi is not.... when the soul is the body and the body is the soul....
3) Summon Mahoraga twice without hand signs, and only doing non verbal incantation once... without confirming if it was due to some binding vow, no... it's just plot.
This is the worst part of the fight in my opinion, necause how CRUCIAL it is to the ovaerall conclusion it was and how utterly dumb it is when you try to understand it.
Not only it is written in the most Gege-esque, confusing way, but it's also not gratifying when you figure this shit out, because it makes no goddamn sense.

Disappointed you skipped the most important detail of this fight. Gojo didn't just ask himself about Sukuna not using Mahoraga, he also said Sukuna didn't target the weaker side of his barrier and chose to take the long way to breaking it by targeting the outside even though the inside was now weaker and he could just break it from that side before sustaining any injuries.
It's the most important aspect of this fight because if Sukuna had just kept doing that, he'd never take the damage that led to him having to be saved by Mahoraga. If Sukuna didn't have thr 10 Shadows he'd win the fight in the domain clashes.
Welp good thing we have you to explain this crucial detail for the rest of us.

I don't think this fight is as simple as the "stronger fighter" won. In all honesty if you're the king of curses and you're using 2 of the most powerful shikigamis to fight while also simultaneously transferring the damage that you get to Megumi's soul and Mahoraga then there's no way you would've been beaten. Sukuna won because he outsmarted Gojo and I wouldn't say he cheated because obviously if you had that power in your disposal you'd use it on an opponent such as Gojo. I think in terms of "who's the strongest?", it's not that crazy to say that it's the 2 of them but one has more extensive knowledge and experience that can never be outmatched no matter how hard Gojo will try
