It does give the clearance for anyone wondering ;) (also impact sockets are now being made of the same material as chrome sockets, therefore, use chrome sockets all you want)
Not so.Impact sockets are made for that purpose(impact)different hardness .You can get away with a standard socket in a pinch but not recommended .Also standard sockets are 12 point and dont offer thed torq needed for frozen fastners and can round the bolts/nuts off as apposed to 6 point impact sockets! @@hithereperson8137
Getting the upper mount in does involve dropping the tank. I think it will only have to come down 3/4inch or so and you may not have to completely remove the two 13mm strap bolts to get enough room. If your car got a certain recall (I don’t have the number) the 13mm bolts were replaced with a “special” Torx cap screw and you’ll need a driver for it. It’s a T50IP. Instructions say only Snap-On has them!? I found one on Amazon and ordered it tonight. I saw several T55 special, spherical cut drivers but I’m not sure that’s the same thing. After a little searching I found one that’s listed as a T50IP. What a dumb headache! First to design the mount so it can’t be removed without dropping the tank and second using a special fastener that takes an almost unobtainable tool. (Rant over)

Shitty BAMA tune in getting a Lito tune after long tubes😂. I was going to get the relocation brackets with the LCA’s but my car is a little too low I would scrape them getting in my driveway

I don't know if you noticed or not with your car now, but after I installed the rear control arms, my car no longer wheel hops, but spins like crazy. I used to have to seriously want to spin to even get the tires upset. Now, I barely have to give it gas and it will try to throw me into the curb lol. I'm guessing the newer control arms, with stronger steel and bushings with MUCH less deflection then the pieces of garbage that come on these cars from factory, it plants the rear into the ground harder, demanding more traction from the tires. One mod always seems to require another supporting mod.
I have yet to blow up a chrome socket on my 1/2 high torque yet, you really have to be abusing the socket for that to happen. Most of the time people use cheap or damaged chrome sockets that were already past their prime when the explode
NewEdge Owner here. I saw that you have BC Racing CoilOvers. Is the ride quality decent or good while being slammed to the “ground” I’m on some cheap Ebay Coilovers & wanna upgrade so I can be low & comfortable.
Tbh when the dampening is set pretty low it’s comparable to lowering springs and stock shocks but definitely not an uncomfortable ride i daily it with no problems
