Put a 32 GB in there. With mine 32 GB SDHC card you will blown away all the other drum modules in sound. Its an amazing module!

Not in the USA. Hoshino is the distributor, but I have tried zZounds, Sweetwater, and B & H Photo, who are authorized Tama dealers but they said no. Hoshino stated they could distribute to any authorized Tama dealer... :(

Thanks for posting this. Question....the module seems to have a great reputation, but I have heard that the Speedlight kit itself is not of the best build quality. At least not compared to say a Roland TD-9 kit in construction/durability. Would you recommend just buying the module and adapting it to a Roland kit for example or will this kit handle a lot of playing overtime? I'm 52 years old and was planning on using this kit live instead of dragging my drums around. :) I normally play rock music.

@Ed Here in Canada I contacted a retail store and they had a demo of this kit. They said it didn't quite compare to the construction/durability of Roland kits. Another person who owns this kit posted a video online and told me... "quality is ok, for the price is more than correct, no comparison to roland pads, especially if you're a heavy hitter, is plastic all around so don't expect this pads to last 10 years." I used to own a Roland TD-9 kit years ago and it was a very durable kit. I played live with the TD-9 for a few years. I assume you are probably familiar to a TD-9, so if it's built as good as that I'd be happy.

It sounds nice enough but still quite choppy in fast playing. Would like to see these demonstrations include more fast playing like buzz rolls as that is where these kits typically struggle.

no machine gun effect. Depends on the quality of the used samples only. You can record your own drum set or you can use a drum libary like addictive drums etc.
The 2box modules are simply the best moduls if you know what you're doing... great for hybrid drumming.

Now that 2box has their own "lite" kit, I think its also time for them to make their own lite/compact module. Having a module as heavy duty as 2box is alienating to some.
