Yes, the 80's(Late 80's,early 90's to be exact)had the scrunchies, but they also had the the ribbon barrettes,the banana clips,and the hair claws which were the inspiration for the butterfly clips in the 90's.

I can’t be the only one that likes hair jewels, headbands with bows, and a really neat hairstyle where you just do a neat row of rubber bands on kind of like a long ponytail and make it rainbow colored. The style only works on long hair. I love hair combs and cute hair clips. I also like braiding my hair overnight and crinkling it and letting it fall in a ponytail in the morning. my mom also used to braid my hair with a ribbon and it looked really pretty afterward.
