It's been a while. I apologize for the delay in uploads due to personal reasons. However, I've done my best to prepare for this performance. This time, I have prepared 1st movement of Beethoven's Pathétique Sonata. This piece had also been requested by lots of subscribers. I hope that you like this performance!:) I have introduced several Beethoven pieces on my channel, so if there's a Beethoven piece you would like to hear, please leave a comment. Thank you always! Have a nice day!
To play a wrong note is insignificant but to play it without passion is inexcusable. God Kassia you gave the word passion(pathetique) a whole new meaning. Continue to practice 40 hours a day. Once again a wonderful playing and it made my day. Merci beaucoup!
Wow, this is a very unique on this movement. Your interpretation is one of the fiercest, with the pure icy touch to it, unlike other pianists that still have some sort of warmth. It's a great interpretation, and definitely a breath of fresh air.
Where I'm from, the 3rd movement is more popular and I actually never had the chance to listen to the 1rst movement till tonight. Thank you for this incredible performance !
How the heck would you just not like these masterpieces, everyone should press a like to show appreciation to that wonderful thing kassia and others are doing to get a video done, this is much work behind it and it's too amazing
I haven't attempted them yet, but I'm having such a problem with the right hand that I can only imagine. I'm dreaming of being able to play a piece like this but there's so many little techniques like that I'm going to have to get down
Kassia, I just have no words when I listen to your playing. I have been waiting for this part of the sonata for a very long time. I have three favorites: apassionate, moonlight, pathetique. I am glad that I can listen to them in your performance, I am waiting for the first part of Apassionata! Thank you once again for delighting us with your performance. ❤
Good evening, I am writing this comment to express my admiration for your splendid performance of this piece. I had a particularly difficult day, and as someone in the field of music, specifically piano, hearing you play the "Pathétique" brings solace and restores my day. I truly adore your work and encourage you to keep pursuing it! Best regards,
Wow Kassia! It's so good! I played this to my college entrance exam! I enjoyed a lot your performance! And leds are stunning, so beautiful! Always thank you for your videos! :)
Currently learning this one. With 5 years of practicing, it's quite hard 😅. It will be my harder piece, I hope I will manage to play it well like you !
Ludwig Van Beethoven - Grande Sonate Pathétique Opus 13, first movement: Introduction: 0:04 Exposition: 2:02 Development: 5:15 Recapitulation: 6:58 Coda: 8:17
Ahh yes, the piano sonata that introduced me to piano, as well as classical music. Before I heard this, I had assumed that all music from the era was boring (suffice to say that's changed). Even years later, this is still a favorite of mine. Thanks for covering this Kassia, love your covers!
I know nothing of piano playing, & even to my unaccustomed eye, this looks like one of the most complex finger works ever seen. How a mortal being could conceive such music is beyond me; I'm just thankful to belong to a species that has the capacity to create such an abstract art form. Thank you, Kassia.
YAYYYY I have been waiting for pathetique 1st movement from you from a while kassia! I’m glad you posted it! I’m sure it’s going to be REALLY good! 🩷🩷🩷
Kassia, you're a genius! You play beautifully! We wish you the best in RUclips! We are waiting for something large-scale, something that will blow up the Internet. You're an awesome pianist! Good luck to you!
from 6:48 to 6:58, I don't think any of you would understand how unbelievably difficult these 10 seconds are to play. I'm learning this song at the moment and my left hand will not cooperate on its own, and the right hand is just making it 10x harder.
This is excellent I'm giving you a suggestion to play shostakovich 8 string quartet. Although Not many people like the piece but I haven't heard the piano version. It's fine if you don't want to but it will be great to hear the piano version for the first time
thanks for playing the patetique sonata no.1. I asked you for this again when you published the no.2. I knew you wouldn't let me down. however, I would have a very difficult challenge to throw at you. The Mazzepa , lizt. anyway you are very good as always. keep it up.🎉🎉🎉
I love this performance, miles better than the other youtubers. It feels like a dark and moody piece in C minor, it feels like Beethoven angst, it has the proper dark emotion. It's what I wished mine could've been.

hope you're doing well Kassia. Love your vids! ❤
Thank you so much!!!!
Right after Rousseau!!
Beethoven named this "Pathetique" to remind you of your skill.
Thank you for your words:)💕
Doesn't pathethique mean pathos
@@Manbun_Carlsen it's a joke.
@@gaopinghu7332 Oh
😥
Rousseau and Kassia uploading on the same day? It’s a blessing!

This is one of my favourite sonatas ! Thanks Kassia you always perform so well !
Hi, Anna:) I am happy to hear that!:)💕
Well Kassia, that's a nice compliment from the composer himself-:) all joking aside, as usual beautiful performance!!
Congratulations on 1.1M on RUclips! Thanks for the great performances always. :)
Ah, my favourite sonata, it's so powerful, hits me right in the heart, thank you Kassia 🤍, it's beautiful
What a day, we got an upload from Rousseau and Kassia, both one of greatest pianists on RUclips
What a day! Incredible as always Kassia, I feel these colours really fit the piece!
Hi, Logan!:) I like this video:) Thank you always!💕

SAME currently struggling with the left hand tremolo….
I paused the video so that your left hand can rest

I completely agree, and I am also eager to hear the first part of appassionata!!
What i love is that most of the music Kassia plays is familiar. Its only when you can see the actual notes appearing you understand how hard piano is.
¡Felicidades!

you could have played for yourself Beethoven smh
That's brilliant! I want Oginsky polonaise!
Thank you!:)💕 I will check it!
I LOVE WHEN YOU PLAY BEETHOVEN
YOU ARE THE BEST BEETHOVEN PIANO PLAYER
This is one of my all time favorite pieces.
I have been waiting for this forever.
The sonata is finally complete.
Thank you so much Kassia, you are amazing.
Wait a minute here. Both Kassia and Rousseau upload on the same day? Seems today has went from good to exceptional now.
Great job, Kassia! Thanks for playing one of the most iconic Beethoven sonatas. You played it perfectly!
Whether you struggle against the common enemies of man, or are out to save your island, Beethoven's got your back.
Kassia and Rousseau releasing on the same day? And the pathétique sonata!? This is too much for my heart to bare!

I’m always impressed when I think that there was a human brain that was capable to conceive music like this
It's the second best performance of this sonata on youtube
The first one is Daniel Barenboim
My favorite composer. My favorite sonata. Each performance is special. And now I got special pleasure. I will take this into account when performing
One of my favourites ❤
Thank you for your comment!💕
Hey kassia, i would love to see you play ‘little red riding hood’ by rach, its one of my favorite peices and i would love to hear you play it :)

Amazing to finally see you cover this piece, I think I suggested it a couple years back in the lists I commented haha. Great interpretation:)

Hello!!! Excellent performance! Thank you very much. Can you perform J. Offenbach's Cancan?
Thank you so much for this new performance! I had an exam today, so it realx me a lot.
I've been thinking of playing this one for awhile. Now you literally inspired me to do it ASAP. That was a marvellous performance Kassia. Bravo!

If you think classical music is boring, check out Liszt, Rachmaninoff and Paganini 😉

Thank you, Kassia.
It's funny because the piece isn't that hard.
Maybe, but it certainly looks that way. & for me at least, this music is very impactful.
Gracias💕
I wish I can be skilled as you when its comes playing the piano with short fingers and small hands 🥺 By the way, Thia is such a good performance 👏🏻👏🏻
