I like how you featured games usually not found in other compilations. I don't think I've ever seen an Amiga games compilation that had, for example, Bill's Tomato Game.
mate you really have picked some classics in here, i just went back to my childhood in this one video, premier manager, ultimate soccer manager, arcade pool, SENSIBLE WORLD OF SOCCER, cannon fodder, pinball dreams, micro machines to name the few in here that absorbed me for hours on end.
It I had to choose one game from that list that brings back real happy memories as a child, it has to Sensible World Of Soccer. Me and my dad used to play each other every Sunday night before I went to bed for school the next morning. That game brought us together. It's the only thing we ever really did together. That game was just awesome to play especially when you wanted to curl the ball into the corners.
Pinball games were my favourite games on the Amiga, when I made this video I was limited to what I had installed normally as I whdload was not as big as it is now. I plan on making a lot more Amiga videos now i've got myself a capture card and my 060 working again.
Amazing how colourful the games were, but more amazing how good they sound. I believe the A1200 had better sound and graphics than the PC's of the day.
jimmy white cue ball can still hold up today was amazing to have that game on amiga oh and i remember monopoly being amazing mind you i was like 12 also second samurai and alfred chicken a little tear when i remember the fun i had with trolls lol
This video is awesome. Love that you left the original music in. That's my major pet peeve about those 100 Games in 10 Minutes videos. They always put stupid music over them, when the original music is one of the best ways to bring the game back to you.
Thanks for the vid. Reminded me of such great games. I ordered a new mouse which should be here tomorrow so am digging my Amiga's out of the loft. I have a low spec A1200 (no hard disk) and an A600, which I prefer due to the size. Cant wait to play Project X and the 'proper' Alien Breed again. On a side note, I never realised that the Amiga had such a decent sound chip compared to everything else that was around at the time!!
Great games. How I miss those days. Remember the song 'I wish I was in London'? I wish I was in the 80's/Playin' my Commodore/I wish I was in the 80's/ ooh I really miss my Commodore/ Oh, just take me back again/ What happened to the gaming?/ There's nothing left with soul/They gave away the good games, without a word of thanks/ Oh just blame it on the banks/ I have a PS3, but it's really not the same/ Oh, so take me back again Oh, please take me back again
Great memories, but too many pinball & football managers. Was I the only one that played (& loved) No Second Prize? Also, where were the point-n-clicks? Kyrandia, Enchantia, Dark Seed, Steel Sky, etc. Thanks for the memories - those WERE the days. =]
cannon fodder and sensible world of soccer were the games i played the most. I got my amiga 500 taken off me on several occasions because i was getting to involved in them ie shouting at the tv cos my players weren't doing as they were told lol
the most popular joystick for the Amiga had only 1 button, whereas the early genesis had 3. later models and snes had 6 buttons. And unfortunatelly an 1200 amiga with a 608030 was never common. The Amiga was an amazing machine. Even if 1989-1990 were it's high-point by that time a proper successor should had been out there.
What a GREAT! video, loved it man. Just looking through your other vids of Bad Influence, Games Master etc. Do you remember a Saturday program called Get Fresh with Gaz Topp. I am looking for a video Xenon that was regularly played on the show
great machine i luv it better than all these consoles more original games its a pity that commodore and atari is still not around this i would call gaming not online gaming this is a time that there was no such thing as oh u need to go online to enjoy the experience but the games where that good no need for it
a long long... long time ago... when the first stars were created... people coded many great games... now, when the stars are about to burn out we are making shit instead of real entertainment i want the old times to come back... :( it's not about the games only - we have emulators and we still can buy old equipment... it's about that climate ___ and sry 4 my eng
The Amiga could beat the snes in any area just the same as the other way round, it just depends who is programming it and which musicians and graphic artists are working on the titles and how much development time they are given etc. Guess it all depends what you are defining as an Amiga as well the A500 or the A1200. Games like SlamTilt or Super Stardust really stand out on the A1200 which might not have went so well on the snes for example. Any machine can be awesome with the right creative talent working on them, just so happens the snes had way more than it's fair share of top developers working on games for the system. If I had to chose though, i'd say the snes was the better gaming machine (as much of an Amiga die hard as I am).
Well, at the time when SNES came out, Amiga was several years old computer and had pretty much done and seen it all already. (Talking about Amiga 500 here and not the super models.)
Scoopex were (still are!) a great group thanks for all the entertainment you provided us with over the years! I'm busy watching Photon's assembler demo programming series even though i've no intention of learning assembler lol I wish communication had been so easy back in the early 90's as it is now especially with demo makers and crackers, you lot seemed so out of reach to ordinary users in those days.
+Geno2733 Well, to be completely fair, graphics wise, Amiga had some titles which were comparable, and quite a few which were actually better, but most of the library was sadly inferior. But as far as sound goes, SNES had nothing on Amiga, and the many Amiga-to-SNES ports show the difference in sound quality really well... not even gonna bring up how Genesis tried to imitate those...
combien il y avait de final fantasy? parce qu'en j'en avait 1 (celui avec le clown, d'ailleurs on peut voir une table "the vault", mais tous les autres (o moins 6) sont des jeux différent?
anyone remember an Amiga game where you were driving on a scrolling map with a from-above POV? Trains were crossing the road and you could use oil and rockets to take out opponents. If you took out ordinary cars police on motorcycles would force you off the road. What's the name of that one?
Hi, does anyone know if there is a dedicated machine available (preferably console) for old amiga games? I'd love something i can just plug n play and reminisce on old times :)
Other pinball games are also in the vid maybe you are mixing those up and thinking they are all from Pinball Fantasies? Pinball Mania, Obsession Pinball, Pinball Illusions and Pinball Brain Damage are also shown
all due respects but how can you review the Amiga games and not have Dungeon Master, Dark Seed, Bard's Tale, all of which came out looking much better long before it was ported over to the PC..
who had the football manager where you had to drink ya tea and water ya plant ? or wild cup soccer this was ruined by the fact that you could kick your team to death but had a management system like speedball you could get like chocs on the team when you was rhinos also sensible soccer i know i'm not going mad you could bend the ball with your joystick right ?

BTG is a truly under appreciated classic puzzler, better than Lemmings imo.
mate you really have picked some classics in here, i just went back to my childhood in this one video, premier manager, ultimate soccer manager, arcade pool, SENSIBLE WORLD OF SOCCER, cannon fodder, pinball dreams, micro machines to name the few in here that absorbed me for hours on end.
This came up in my feed today. I used to live in Stalybridge lol
I had a amiga 600. my unckle gave it to me, he died later of a brain toumor, and watching these games realy brings back meories we had.

thank you for including Silkworm (GOAT shoot them up) and Turrican in this vid.
Disposable Hero, Turrican 2 and Lionheart.....Good old times.
Amazing how colourful the games were, but more amazing how good they sound. I believe the A1200 had better sound and graphics than the PC's of the day.
All Terrain Racing! Superb fun! :)
holy shit!! fucking good sound system amiga had!! put sega genesis / super nes on the floor
Yeah it really did, amazing audio for the time
I still have my A500 and a huge amount of games. Some of these I remember playing all the time. Great video!
Good times, but Street Fighter 2 on the Amiga is a memory that's best to forget about.
I agree, i owned an amiga2000 in 90's, and i had SF2, bad conversion
Most of the list looks really FUN! I never had one but very intrigued!
How can anyone give a thumbs down to this?
ST users
You know it's not 1990 any more right?
Top vid with some neat games.
yes Dave had fun with these games !
jimmy white cue ball can still hold up today was amazing to have that game on amiga oh and i remember monopoly being amazing mind you i was like 12 also second samurai and alfred chicken a little tear when i remember the fun i had with trolls lol

Nice clear videos, a nice list to reference, thanks for a great video... it helped me locate some long lost titles for my A500...
Projectyle, Wonderboy in Monsterland, Rodland, Jaguar XJ220, Battle Squadron were great too..
Great games. How I miss those days.
Remember the song 'I wish I was in London'?

Some of these I never saw before so now will check out. Many thanks!

Nice! Thanks for sharing!
Hey! Cool selection of nice games you bring up here ;)
Seems like there were quite a few pinball games for Amiga.
7:47 Speris Legacy, best Amiga game on my opinion, and it seems the only JRPG for the system if I am not mistaken
All Terrain Racing..... they are listed in the description.
All excellent choices.
Thanks for posting!
Some games i never play, good collection
Looks like many DOS-PC games were on Amiga as well...
Lionheart was one of the best games i've played back then!
was playing body blows when i should have been playing 5:57 Shadow Fighter
What a GREAT! video, loved it man. Just looking through your other vids of Bad Influence, Games Master etc. Do you remember a Saturday program called Get Fresh with Gaz Topp. I am looking for a video Xenon that was regularly played on the show
Wow I had no idea solders of fortune was made firsts on the amiga:) Good game though:)

was "it came from the desert" an amiga game? that was a cool game. Surprised they didnt mention the three stooges.
+Dogman Of course it was an Amiga game, it came out first for Commodore's baby
+Dogman Yes it was - from cinemaware.
i think i will get the system out of the closet THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES
I never played the amiga, but the graphics look like they could rival the SNES.
+Geno2733 Yes, and no. Really the only area, where the Amiga can flat out beat the SNES, its music quality.

Could be the same game (Base Jumpers) as before you jump off the top you race up the inside of the building up stairs etc
anyone remember an Amiga game where you were driving on a scrolling map with a from-above POV? Trains were crossing the road and you could use oil and rockets to take out opponents. If you took out ordinary cars police on motorcycles would force you off the road. What's the name of that one?
Super Cars II !
Alex Reality
"Turbo" was the name of the game I was looking for.
adamcrookedsmile Still, Super Cars II was the better game ^-^/
Battlechess
Desert strike amiga
Cool , what program you use to Record games on Amiga ?
I used a PVR to record this one as it could record any input from scart to it's hard drive then transferred them to DVD to get them on the computer.
Ok I use Winuae + Fraps.
I've got a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 and HD Colossus capture card these days though, much better quality video.
Fraps , works fine
Per-Ola Eriksson
If you're emulating maybe
Can't say i have heard of it mate, had a quick look and it was on from 86-88, I think you would be doing well to find some video of it now :(
You missed a few good ones:
Apidya
First Samurai
Agony
Fire & Ice
+ud2hb4 Battle squadron , zee wolf, hired guns, etc.
Amiga was king.
You should try DOGOLRAX on Steam, it's like a Another World /Out of this World 2.0 !
There were some real stinkers in there, but then again, the title didn't say 75 "good" games.
Silkworm
6.10 what the game called?
Played it when i was young just want to play it again :)
Rally Championship
Hi, does anyone know if there is a dedicated machine available (preferably console) for old amiga games? I'd love something i can just plug n play and reminisce on old times :)

How many times did you show Pinball Fantasies?
+Kainlarsen once @ 8:01
Pretty sure I saw it several times.
Other pinball games are also in the vid maybe you are mixing those up and thinking they are all from Pinball Fantasies? Pinball Mania, Obsession Pinball, Pinball Illusions and Pinball Brain Damage are also shown
Barry's World
They all look so similar, and it's been years since I last played PF...
what is the very last game shown?
It's Atomic Robokid
what's the name of the game on 4:14 ?
Thank you :)
Cannon fodder 2
Project X
Atomic Robokid! I had the demo of this on the Sinclair Spectrum and it was utter shit!
Seems it's actually a decent game on proper systems.
Cannon Fodder 2
Great Video! Great Time! I still have my A1200... unplugged of course...
Can anybody help me by telling me the name of this game? 3:03
Thanks!
None that I can think of, maybe someone else has an idea...
5:02 ?
Springtime was a PD game, given away on a coverdisk at the time when I first saw it.
all due respects but how can you review the Amiga games and not have Dungeon Master, Dark Seed, Bard's Tale, all of which came out looking much better long before it was ported over to the PC..
Maybe the delibratly left out games that need more detail.
4:06 ?? please :) i cant play this game
+Sertac Kerman fury of the furries
thank you very much. i played my child this game.... i miss..
who had the football manager where you had to drink ya tea and water ya plant ? or wild cup soccer this was ruined by the fact that you could kick your team to death but had a management system like speedball you could get like chocs on the team when you was rhinos also sensible soccer i know i'm not going mad you could bend the ball with your joystick right ?
