I love both of your tops. I often made separate cowls so I can get more wear out of my tops and dresses. On the pants. Try the Nusle Joggers from Itch to Stitch. The straight legged are not super wide and an easy sew once you perfect the crotch. Thanks for sharing your makes.
Hi Mary! Great to see you! I like using the pivot and slide method. It's pretty simple to me and some days I just want simple!😅 Girl I'm with you on the hair! A little bit of humidity and POOF! AFRO! Your top looks beautiful! Both tops to me, the one you're wearing the one you showed. I'm with you with top stitching serged seams.
Hi Zelda! Yes, the simpler-the better for me too! Oh my hair has been misbehaving lately-it must be tired of me messing with it 😂 Good to know I’m not the only one who is annoyed by seams in weird places! I hope you have a great weekend!❤️❤️❤️
Love the tops! I'm still wrestling with making the binding straight on my potholder. Two down, two to go. They are cut out. They will be ready for Christmas! 🎅 Bernadette
Thank you Andra! Yes, I’m all about comfy tops! Especially if they don’t fit like a tent (hint- ready to wear “plus sizes”)😂 If I could sew all day I would😜 I hope you are having a great week! Xx❤️❤️❤️
Hi Mary! We keep having warm spells when it's in the 60's ..NO! I'm finished with it, I need to wear my Autumn stuff now 😂 I do both tops on you, even the one you say is too short. If you are wearing with leggings then yes it will feel short but with your new soon to be Crescendo jeans it will be perfect ❤ Neckbands I just play around with the length, I don't bother using the pattern piece and use the percentage only as a guide. Every fabric is different isn't it?! I would try making those new look pants first as they are the easiest. Have a great weekend and lovely to see you ❤ xx
Hi Carole!! I hate to say this (not) but in order to make some pants I need to get some more fabric (oh noooo😂), I don’t seem to have enough for the NL pattern, and I want to “try” the crescendos before I use my beautiful stretch denim. So I’ll have to drag myself to a fabric store then? I am also all done with 60’s! Give me some autumn air, please! Thanks so much for stopping by!!! Xx ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Mary! Great job making the adjustments you wanted to your second shirt to make it more wearable for you!
Thank you so much! I was kicking myself for not adjusting before the first shirt😂 Hope i you’re having a great week! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much!❤️ I only wish I would have thought of adjusting before I started the first one 😂Happy 🧵 sewing! ❤️❤️❤️
