The use of the back slash to be able to view the area in red that had been painted black on the layer mask was most useful to me.

Hi, very informative and easy to follow. I was just wondering, wouldn't it be easier to start off in guided mode with the 'replacement background' feature to select your sky, and then just switch to expert mode to bring in the new background? Tx!
5:00 if i press back slash i would delete this layer. any ideas for help?
