I love Popeyes & even I couldn’t stand these. I tried these just a couple days ago and couldn’t stand them. They tasted like the smell of lemon towelettes. I know that’s a weird way to explain the taste, but it was just like that. I give them a 2.

I never had any delayed issues at the Popeye's restaurants I visited with my boyfriend where I live. They always serve hot food & the line moves pretty fast (based on our personal experience of course). 🏆 That service they gave you at the drive-thru was totally mediocre & their attitude...wow.👎 Thank you Joe for this review & for saving me from eating lemonade wings.😂 At least they are worse than my mixed chips. 😂🤣😂🤣

I could not edit that part out and illustrate what happened during the video. I was pretty upset and at first I was going to go to a different location and re shoot but they were so bad I could not justify spending another dine on that video, but in the end I am happy with the results
I've only been to Popeyes 4 times. Every time was a huge wait for subpar food. They're opening more in my area, I don't know who keeps giving them business.
I went to a Popeyes and ordered the flounder fish sandwich. They said it would be about 10 minutes and to pull up and I was fine with that. After waiting for about 15, they came out and told me they searched the freezer and had no fish whatsoever. Then, they said they don’t do refunds and offered a chicken sandwich instead. I ate that sandwich in defeat and promised to never visit Popeyes again.

I'm not sure you can guarantee consistent serving weight on wings the way you could for something like chicken tenders or strips. Be nice if the promised the number of drumlets vs. actual wings though.

Even at one point, I saw an employee using a 12 pack of soda to deliver my drink because their machine was broken. How trashy is that? I've met the GM of a Popeyes I used to eat at, and they must have been short staffed, so he was working the drive-thru, and he was a huge jerk. Man, what a messed up experience Joe. spiced with black pepper does not make it hot. I agree maybe they did use spicy wings, I did not think about it. terrible flavor combination.
