I would have been amazed that it happened; what Abraham did wasn’t an unacceptable practice in culture then. I do get your point; make sure your judging the fruit correctly. God is coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle. Character is not power or authority but principle and we do have a moral obligation to represent well. All fall short of the glory of God. We all like sheep have gone astray.
