I stopped using Audacity a while back for Logic on Mac, Cakewalk (free) on Windows. If anything, a nice interface makes my brain work better. But I think their built-in plugins are nicer than Audacity’s basic ones. I did try to to get fancy and bought some Izotope plugins to help me get sound into a better shape faster.

I use Sibelius to notate, Audacity to record, and Davinci Resolve to edit!
