I see what you mean with Emma and her coffee. That being said, there is an entire world of instant coffee out there that is relatively inexpensive. So, yeah, maybe Gen-Z will jump on it, but I think her reach will be limited to North America and just that niche she's carved out. It'll be interesting to see how the dynamic changes as her fans start to grow out of her brand.

This analysis is soo good boys, love the observation that coffee is essentially a subscription product, a very interesting offering from an influencer compared to clothing and beauty products - which even if you're a repeat customer have a much longer turn around for the next purchase and a less addictive effect. Customer loyalty is any brands dream and it seems cheap until you buy it every day, basically selling a legal drug.
(Also to everyone commenting about Peter McKinnon, he has done it completely differently, his is much more niche and in conjunction with a chain James Coffee, who sell lots of non-PM branded merch and coffee equipment online themselves, he just has a blend or two within their already established collection and delivery system. His is more expensive, and he sells normal beans with no product innovation like the teabag style pouches, however, I agree coffee is definitely a comparably big part of his channel and he is definitely more about high quality rather than mass merch sales.)

Peter McKinnon has been doing coffee for a while now so nothing new other than her being so young.
Nothing new excpect form the t-bag coffee, and that she has about 4 mill views per video and PM has about 400k. So Emma's reach is insane.
We'll definitely do a breakdown on Peter at some point as well
I think the biggest difference between her and Peter though (and why this is new) is her audience size and the demo she's hitting.

Can I say that as an 'average Italian' american coffee is disgusting and it tastes like pond water? Get yourselves a Moka and drink proper thick coffee. Please. You're also welcome. It doesn't cost 2$ a packet. The Moka costs 10/15$ and 500g of powder (which lasts like 30 coffees) costs less than 5$.

You rated the coffee as if she grew the beans herself, but she didn’t, the grounds probably come from the same beans as generic store own brand coffee, it just has her name on it. Of course it will taste “good”, it will taste more or less like any other off-the-shelf coffee grounds.

$2 a bag seems expensive to me. Tea bags aren’t that expensive. Unless it’s being marketed as a luxury top quality coffee. Tea can be expensive, but usually loose leaf tea has a higher quality and cost than bagged tea. Just like whole coffee beans are more expensive than ground coffee because it’s fresher and more flavor when you grind the beans before serving.
Christina tea is generally also a lot cheaper to produce
