This is the shiny line along the cutting edge that wraps around the pivot area on many beauty shears. It creates a smooth feel. This video covers this but I probably need to make a specific video on this . .ruclips.net/video/A6xopmT39Io/видео.htmlsi=sqpzeJkozEg1pagd

What brand are the pads your using and are they the soft pads for convex and hard pad for German bevel? And what grit did you use in this video
@@CoreyZinberg I’m not sure of the grit. We sell these. The pads go from 180 to 2000. Iwasprobably using a worn 800 grit. Order at www.bonika.com.
So steepen it a degree or two when buffing
Yes!
Is the buffer pad peeling the burr off?
The inside bur came off on the stone. They tiny outside bur is peeled or knocked off by the buffing pad, but I don't want to polish over the edge.
And also the tip should be sharper because most stylists will cut on the way out , not on the way in to avoid injury.
Yes, you have to pay close attention to get the tips perfect.
YES-Geometry of sheers basics please
Geometry of sheers cutting angles and why please. ( slide cutting, longer edge life...etc)
Working on this. I'm trying to figure out how to draw this out to demonstrate.
