I don't know how I came upon your channel but I am glad. I just got my trademark last month and now I have 5 months left to put my trademark into commerce. I waited 10 yrs for this.
If I can reply, I think she meant that she persisted in keep making continuous content so much that she got a following well enough for her to make 100K not just on 1 video, but all those videos (because of the following she has) can make her income while she sleeps. In fact, that's how all the big names are doing it. You make a bunch of targeted videos for a loyal following. That following dictates the pay RUclips will pay you. The bigger the following the higher the earning potential. Its a consistency and waiting game. However, what she does in the video is cut down the curve by showing us how to target an audience. She has a product that people want. Most of these RUclipsrs have products that people want. Now your goal is to be a problem solver for those people. Be a coach. What is your concentration? Is it something that you can teach? A skill? Prank? Tips? You find that out, then you find your targeted audience and that is what you make your videos about!
I have the same business strategy as her, so I think I can help her explain. Sunny has links in her video descriptions and comments that link to her course. She can track the people that click the links to buy her course. One of her videos got enough conversions to hit 100k dollars in revenue.
The video she made is inconsequential, she laid out the scaffolding for you to do it yourself with YOUR content and products. She illuminated a plan to generate real income for her company from her package using all the pieces she described. I imagine there are people with youtube pages that sit around and wait for the ad revenue and think you can't make any money on youtube. By reframing youtube as one rung on the ladder, she is freeing creators to create a dynamic environment that has multiple streams of income with the most profitable being the one she controls 100%. If youtube 100% demonitized her channel, she still made $100k selling her consulting package. She is the breaker of chains.

BOSS! This is really good info. It's scary, but like most things, once you try and do it consistently it gets easier over time. My only question is, do you NEED a website in order to do this? I know you talked about email list, but I didn't know if you could just use an email to start a coaching business?
First time I've seen any of your videos, but you just got yourself a new subscriber. Most other youtube channels in this category only talks "fluff" and not acutally anything actionable that can be used, all they do is try to sell you on some course, I know that is what you are doing too, but you gave actual value through the whole video. Hope the reset of the content is just as good :)
Everyone keeps on saying email list. But the truth is that hate receiving emails from people over and over again. I've actually unsubscribed to some of my RUclipsrs because of the emails they kept sending me. It got annoying and I stop seeing them as that RUclipsr but rather that person who's annoying me with emails. I also viewed their content didfrently because how I saw them. I honestly think that emails is like getting a girls phone from and sign up sheet for an event or so and then calling her for personal reasons, or vice versa. Just tweet it or make a quick Instagram post about it or post it in your facebook group. If I'm invested in you I'll check it out. Otherwise I feel like you're stocking my email account.
I'm a blogger and RUclipsr with 250k pageviews per month and nearly 5M views on my videos per month. But I've built my business on brand sponsorship, which has been good. However, you said something in this video that I realized last week after attending my annual blogging conference: the one-off sponsored content is just that, one-off. Although I make residual income off of it, it is limited because I haven't yet created a product offering. But I am going to do that now!
Great stuff. But I bet if you tone down the hand motions and the "uptalking"---saying every sentence in question tone--you will get twice as many subscribers. People over 30 are potential customers, too, you know.

Actually, no. You can leverage anything. Be mindful that products help! Let's say that you do pranks. Pranksters can sell clothes. But they don't have to. You should continue to do pranks. And also find out what people need in the process. What if you "gave back" every Wednesday or 1 a month? How to do this or How to do that Video. Give knowledge to others. Then do pranks the rest of the week or month. Then give back. Over time, your entertainment content mixed with your how to's will help you get that money, and that audience you want. This isn't going to happen overnight. This will happen over time. Let's say you do 1 How to video a month that's 12 videos a year of giving valuable information. The rest are pranks. Let's say you do 2 How to videos a month, that's 24 videos a year of giving valuable information. Your earning potential goes up. Let's say you do 1 video every week of giving valuable information. That's 4 videos a month of giving back! 4 times 12 is 48. That's 48 videos of teaching a year. Within a year or two, you could see substantial growth in audiences. Then your passion for pranks will also elevate in views because people are wanting to see you and have interest in you as a person. Everything is elevated. Your potential to give information as well entertain takes onto a life on its own. 48 videos aren't nowhere near someone who might put out 200 videos of information. But 48 videos within 5 years is what? 240 videos of giving back. I'm certain your entertainment, as well as your informative videos, would be doing very well by then. I hope that helps.

So when I’m feeling run down I’ll search “How I made it on RUclips” videos to see other people who want this and achieved it so that I remind myself that I’ll get there too. And hopefully I learn something along the way! (Like I did in this video)

This is really good info. It's scary, but like most things, once you try and do it consistently it gets easier over time. My only question is, do you NEED a website in order to do this? I know you talked about email list, but I didn't know if you could just use an email to start a coaching business?

First time I've seen any of your videos, but you just got yourself a new subscriber. Most other youtube channels in this category only talks "fluff" and not acutally anything actionable that can be used, all they do is try to sell you on some course, I know that is what you are doing too, but you gave actual value through the whole video. Hope the reset of the content is just as good :)

Everyone keeps on saying email list. But the truth is that hate receiving emails from people over and over again. I've actually unsubscribed to some of my RUclipsrs because of the emails they kept sending me. It got annoying and I stop seeing them as that RUclipsr but rather that person who's annoying me with emails. I also viewed their content didfrently because how I saw them. I honestly think that emails is like getting a girls phone from and sign up sheet for an event or so and then calling her for personal reasons, or vice versa. Just tweet it or make a quick Instagram post about it or post it in your facebook group. If I'm invested in you I'll check it out. Otherwise I feel like you're stocking my email account.
You are not your market. There are emails I pay attention to every day.
Oh, and if you're "not invested" in a content producer, then you're not who they're looking for. NEXT!!
I just block them or put them on the spam section
I'm a blogger and RUclipsr with 250k pageviews per month and nearly 5M views on my videos per month. But I've built my business on brand sponsorship, which has been good. However, you said something in this video that I realized last week after attending my annual blogging conference: the one-off sponsored content is just that, one-off. Although I make residual income off of it, it is limited because I haven't yet created a product offering. But I am going to do that now!
Great stuff. But I bet if you tone down the hand motions and the "uptalking"---saying every sentence in question tone--you will get twice as many subscribers. People over 30 are potential customers, too, you know.

What if I don’t have a product? Does is only apply to having a product or service?
Actually, no. You can leverage anything. Be mindful that products help! Let's say that you do pranks. Pranksters can sell clothes. But they don't have to. You should continue to do pranks. And also find out what people need in the process. What if you "gave back" every Wednesday or 1 a month?
How to do this or How to do that Video. Give knowledge to others. Then do pranks the rest of the week or month. Then give back. Over time, your entertainment content mixed with your how to's will help you get that money, and that audience you want. This isn't going to happen overnight. This will happen over time.
Let's say you do 1 How to video a month that's 12 videos a year of giving valuable information. The rest are pranks.
Let's say you do 2 How to videos a month, that's 24 videos a year of giving valuable information. Your earning potential goes up.
Let's say you do 1 video every week of giving valuable information. That's 4 videos a month of giving back! 4 times 12 is 48. That's 48 videos of teaching a year. Within a year or two, you could see substantial growth in audiences. Then your passion for pranks will also elevate in views because people are wanting to see you and have interest in you as a person. Everything is elevated. Your potential to give information as well entertain takes onto a life on its own. 48 videos aren't nowhere near someone who might put out 200 videos of information. But 48 videos within 5 years is what? 240 videos of giving back. I'm certain your entertainment, as well as your informative videos, would be doing very well by then.
