I used to use this also. But usb audio player pro has bit perfect playback option and the ability to access the phone's internal speaker/blutooth dac so you can essentially turn you usb-c dongle into a passive analog output which in turn saves power and has a more headphone jack relaxed sound also this way allows you to receiver notification and incoming call sounds which the external dac mode does not allow on all phones.
You said it's the king of digital music player when you haven't tested the other music player. Hihihihi what a joke. I have 2 player in my phone. Poweramp and HiBy music player which I only use HiBy link for my HiBy R3 gen 2. Compare UAAP with this two hahahaha.
I don't know. If Jellyfin is also your server, as my Shield is in this video, then you can connect to your server and stream music to your device, yes. I thought Jellyfin was a content arrangement app, like Plex & not a server in itself.

Occasionally I find having one app tho can collate across all these platforms would be nice. Thanks.

Depends how you add them. I don't really use FLAC. More AIFF but artwork shows up fine using MP3 tag. It will also depend on the app/software. Some playback apps deal with artwork better than others@@navinadv

How do you get the album art ?
It comes with digital purchases. Outside of that I use an app called Cover Load for my CD rips.
