As always love your streams. I guess your next trip is to Florida. Am looking forward to the videos I will see there. As one who has not traveled to other places since March, I enjoy your streams. Thanks sincerely Kenneth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Preliminary comment: I love that park (Bellevue South)!!! I'd never seen it before. Great, grey and romantic mood of a video to be shown on Valentine's day. Your work is always enriching!❄️📶yes, upon full viewing, just stunning! I especially enjoyed that little 29th Street jaunt with the synagogue(Congregation Talmud Torah Adereth El), the near to ancient house and the playground (Vincent Albano Jr). Every block has something enriching and you miss none of it. Just fabulous.🕍🎚️🏚️
AK “Happy Love Day” among friends and all relationships. It is an experience to watch your videos on all Holidays and in everyday walking thank you for bringing enlightment to our world.
Hi Action Kid, got an update today with NYC upcoming changes. The new island built on Hudson River due to open later in year will be nice. Looking fwd to see all the changes from you. Take Care.
Those are the Copper buildings. Contemplated moving there because the shapes are so unique and they're right on the East River but there aren't enough dog parks, etc. in the area for my spoiled french bulldog so we stayed on the upper east side (dog lovers paradise).
In Manhattan - garbage (black bags) twice a week and recyclables (clear and blue bags) once a week. Definitely a recycle day. The reason for the garbage being piled up on the curb in NYC is, unlike a lot of US cities, there are basically no alleys or rear loading docks to place the garbage waiting for pickup. It can really pile up on snow days because the DSNY trucks are instead used to plow the streets. The City is trying to come up with a better system but the lack of space has always been a problem. Thanks for the question. Cheers.
Simon, the original building is to the left of the new addition. Bellevue has always provided all medical services (since 1736) but it wasn't until 1876 that the psychiatric pavilion opened on the grounds and started building its "infamous" reputation (mostly through literature).
Thank you so much for this video , so interesting , loved the wooden building from 1700 xoxo
I like to see kids playing in the snow and the walk is nice and cold out. Thank you Rodney.

Nice 🚶 by the action kid covering the 🏥 district of Kips Bay. Some nice old buildings combined with tasteful modern ones.
A very nice walk through Kips Bay. I appreciate the history and the sights you showed us. I used to spend some time in this area.
There's a lot of history in Kips Bay for sure!
My favorite cinema at 2nd Ave and 31st Street. Lots of good times.
I think I saw "Die Hard" at that theatre and came out thinking both the theatre and the movie were better than I was expecting.
@@EdDunkle Ed, Thanks. It isn't the most opulent space but the theater and the neighborhood are very "comfortable". Hard to explain.
Love the video and the snow and you're walks love New York on my bucket list thank you AK keep warm and stay safe stay well ❄💙❄💙❄💙
Same time of the year ..we were in 33rd street first avenue..so many memories of this throbbing avenues around NYU..
My old nursing school instructor called that strip of hospitals Bed Pan Alley
That's funny . I guess she should know if she studied or worked in that area ,
That's an interesting nickname!
😂
Enjoyed your video of my neighborhood. Thanks a lot.

I had a great apt - 129 E27th st lived there in the early 90s- you were so close then you turned around at Broadway alley!

Great Timing! 🚒❤️
The timber looks new on that timber house.
Loved it!!!
2 really cool buildings right at the end

I’m so happy that a house from the 1700s is still standing.
The trash system in NY always amazes me
"Happy Valentine's Day" Action Kid!

How often does the garbage get collected ?

_Thank you from NYC ActionKid aka to me ActionKidNow_
That was Bellevue- the infamous mental hospital? Not what I was led to believe..

4:41-6:39 Waterside Plaza.
Do you miss the garbage free streets of Boston?
KIP means chicken in Dutch !!!
Curry in a Hurry is among the worst restaurants I've ever been to! I don't understand how it's still in business!
Shame to see alot of Graffiti. Do people not know what they are spoiling. NYC is an amazing place.
Let’s celebrate the place not the name the kip family has dark beliefs - the family owned slaves.
Sad NYC legacy. At one time NYC was the largest slave trading center in the nation.
Hey
you were near broadway alley but it is actually directly across from what you thought was the alley. fake news
They should demolish it.
