Thank you! Happy new year to you as well..!! If you want to order items and ship to family members in Jamaica, let them create an account with the courier and give you the shipping address. Use that shipping address and their name when placing the order. Another option is to create an account online with a Jamaican courier then add the family member to your account to authorize them to pick up the package on your behalf. If they don’t have this option on their website you can email them and let them know. They can go in office and pick up when the package reaches. I believe that it’s $50 per item but the Jamaican government wants to increase the amount to $100, I’m not 100% sure if it is in effect as yet but it should be.

Hey. The package in my hand weight almost 2lbs, cost me JMD$860 to clear. Correct? You have to purchase the item from the merchant then pay the courier that cleared it for you and pay customs if the item costs more than USD$50
Ok so 3 payments to get it in Jamaica? 1) buy the item. 2) pay clearance. 3) pay courier Also apart from the 1) item, the other two , three price varys? Therefore at the end one would have paid item price 9 times:) ?
This is very helpful but i want to purchase a phone off Amazon for my birthday. But i have been getting some info on it but they are saying that customs is going to charge alot to clear it. So I'm a bit confused...Please help!!!🙏
I don’t recommend you shipping a phone. Customs will definitely charge you alotttt of money to clear it. Check if there’s anyone flying in and ask them to bring it for you

No you don’t have to deal with customs, the courier does everything for you. When the package is ready for pick up the courier will notify you and you can go there to pick it up whenever you get the chance. You can also check if the courier does delivery in your area or close by
