Heard the name Jake Chambers and had flashbacks to the Dark Tower novels, good times. Sword looks absolutely gorgeous! Always love videos on this channel 👌🏻👌🏻
You should try your hand at the Silver sword!! It's a lot harder to get reference of, but it'd be a worthy addition especially to your casual Geralt cosplay!
@@gypsycatcha79 thanks man, I bought it second-hand off one of the horror forums I used to frequent. I can't remember which one or who sculpted it, it was like 6 years ago. Sorry I cant offer more help.
@@gypsycatcha79 did some digging, looks like it was sculpted by Russ Lukich (of "Hellboy" fame) www.yourprops.com/Hannibal-Lecter-bust-replica-movie-prop-The-Silence-of-the-Lambs-1991-YP18209.html
Rly good job! U could use graphite powder instead of chrome paint. It makes the sword look more dark, like a clean but used sword. I always do the chrome tho.
Chris that sword looks 100% accurate top notch and ready to slice up monsters and anyone who gets in your way. sorry if I seem weird i'm a huge fan of you and your work. keep up the amazing work on your Geralt Cosplay, can't wait to see the next episode of the Butcher of Blaviken. you rock it as always. Peace
Hey Chris, I have an idea for your next custom. What do u think about utilising the surface vains that appear when to paints clash to create a venom or carnage style to a figure like they have been taken over by a symbiot. Love the work. Keep doin good things
Is it possible to print the blade complete (not in sections) so you don't have to worry about filling, sanding & painting away the joins so you can use a silk silver PLA for the finish,... or are you limited to the print dimensions of your printer?
Dude, use a sanding block so that it gets smoother faster. Hand sanding can sometimes make finger grooves. Is it flat, leveled and needs to be smooth? Sanding blocks man.... Don't tell anyone, but if you don't want to spend money on a block, get some foam flip flops and cut it into a rectancle. DIY sanding block there for you guys lol
The sword has a smiley face..........cannot un-see
It has its own Netflix profile Icon 😂😂
@@NikhilSharma-ul8ur lol true
I still think the broach thing on the sword looks the the "Awesome Face/Epic Smiley".
I can’t unsee that now. Thanks a lot. Whole show ruined.
Damn it, Why can't I give the video more than one like??
You did a fantastic job with the sword!!
Stranger: Geralt! Where did you get that beautiful sword!?
Geralt: Cosplay Chris’s Etsy👌🏼
Wow great job! Love how you turned the 3D files in the most legit replica! And thank you for the link to my shop! Highly appreciated ❤️

You know what’s a great challenge the wolf man from 2011
Great job Chris! I like how my Lecter bust made a cameo! Lol
i love that Joker shirt!!!
Hollow out the Hilt End Piece and put in some lead weight (disc or pellets) to balance out the sword, it will feel amazing.
The sword that smiles back
You should definitely check out Punished Props Academy's video on polished graphite. It's a beautiful black chrome effect for cosplay props.
yes
Renly would be proud
Nice looking sword from what I see on the video It looks real and that so hard to do for some people
you should do a venom figure custom collectable using the vein look from mixing two spray paint brands

Sooo cool
Use aluminum tape, polish it afterwards
What was the orientation that you printed the blades?
Do you use a varnish coat at the end to finish it?
It sucks that you can't 3d print it whole, that you have to print it in parts so it's weak.
But why the one from the Netflix series? 😵😥
A shamshir or a tulwar
What about his silver sword?
This guy deserves much more subscribers
Look out Nilfgaard, cosplayers do it best!
What glue do you recommend?
How much would it cost for a cleaned pla sword so I can paint it
