The treatment of glaucoma is tailormade and personal to each patient. It is best to have a very informed discussion with your ophthalmologist and together decide on the best treatment option for you.
For some patients, drops or laser are not an option because of drop intolerance or in-effectivity; that is when surgery is considered. There are a number of surgical procedures to control glaucoma and each one has its pros and cons and different surgical options would be suited to different patients.

Thank you Respected Madam Give me very Gud knowledge in very few words 👍🙏
My doctors said “don’t worry” during the week I lost 75% of my vision in my left eye
hello bro
Same happened with my mother what m i suppose to do now?
How is that possible?
Your doctor should not let you leave until the pressure in your eyes is at a safe level. You should then have a follow up within a week or so, to see if the pressure has stabilized. That is what they did for me. I am now on drops (probably for life) and will have to get regular checkups to monitor my vision and eye pressure.

Hi there. Could you kindly let me know that as I've been diagnosed with glaucoma. I'll be having cataract surgery soon. After that will it be safe to have laser surgery to drain water so I don't have to use drops. Will appreciate your guidance. Thank you.
4. Avoid Allergy and decongestant medication.
What is the alternative when you have allergy or decongestion?
Why do you recommend that?
Correct. I took that stuff for months when I should have obtained antibiotics earlier.
Eye specialist had enough sense to ask right question when pressure was up.
When first diagnosed every glaucoma patient should be warned of this.
I have Glaucoma and my GS has never mentioned this. I have been on prescription allergy meds for years! He has access to that information, I wonder why they’ve never said anything!
I have gloucoma any advice
See an ophthalmologist.
I heard gout medication can increase eye pressure.
Dr are there yoga postures which help to combat glaucoma and are there yoga postures to be avoided after diagnosis of Glaucoma. Kindly educate.
Yes. My doctor and I went over all of the poses I do one by one. She told me which were okay and which were not. Basic rule is, do not allow your head be lower than your heart. That raises interocular pressure (IOP).
Also, sleep on a wedge pillow so your head is above your heart all night.
In general, there are no yoga positions that are beneficial for glaucoma. Just ones that are okay and ones that will do damage.
and don’t forget local organic fruits and vegetables 🥕 & exercise that really really helps
Im 1% glacu newly discovered any advice pls
