Interesting that Bob was critical of himself on the 70's Newlywed Game era. That is when I was old enough to watch those shows in the afternoon in the early 70's, and even as a young boy I thought he did a great job. Perhaps I was too young to understand some things, but I thought he was perfect for that show in the same way Monte Hall was for Let's Make a Deal and Peter Marshall was for The Hollywood Squares.

Bob Eubanks hosted The Newlywed Game, Trivia Trap, and Card Sharks. But never The Dating Game, that was hosted by the late, great Jim Lange.
