Have not commented here before, but love all of your vid's Brian. Your doing a great job on that beautiful 'stang! Love that radio. What a find. Thanks for keeping up the optimism and putting out quality vid's on absolutely everything that interests you. Much appreciated. From a professional counterpart up north (Winnipeg), each time you launch a new vid, it's like tuning in to an old friend. Be safe and healthy, bro. Our best wishes to you and your family.
Glad to see your ok Brian, I hope your family is too. The stereo and speaker choice are perfect mate, excellent choice, It's getting there, Stay safe, my thoughts are with you and people everywhere 🇺🇸🇬🇧
I bought these adapters for a 2012 after watching this video, They worked for me and my BOSS 500 watt 6X9's , I did not want to cut anything , This was a great fix, Thanks for the tip
Thank you so much for this video and the rear speaker adaptors! I’m just starting to think about music options for my ‘66, and I kinda want to go the same route as you did. I think it sounds pretty good.
Thank you! My brother is building our late father's 1960 F100 that will need tunes in Spring. The dash is hacked. We may fill that spot & start over, or maybe we'll just get creative with a face plate. Ether way, we'll want something that looks like it belongs in there, so I'll be looking at more Retrosound solutions :)
I know this is not a new video but I just stumbled on it...did you use spacers on all four corners of each speaker adapter to set them lower? Or just let them hang down below the opening with longer bolts/screws so that your speakers were recessed as it looks like your adapters are several inches below the tray?

Where I can buy that radio? Or what's the model number. Merry Christmas 🎅
Its a Retrosound Hermosa with the 65/66 Mustang knob kit & screen protector. Lots of places carry them. Found mine on Amazon
Can you turn the beep off?
Yes you can. You can also set the color display to whatever you want OR turn the display off
Ah I wish it kept the stock look but with the normal radio instead of a alarm clock font 😕
You can turn display off
