Alter Bridge's 6th Album, Walk the Sky, took me a while to get into, there's some experimentation here with synths and some different sounds. But there are some really good songs and I had a hard time choosing one. and this is one album I dont think you've reacted to at all. this song is cool because MArk Tremonti is singing lead vocals, with Myles joining in on the chorus and I think it has a great sound. Enjoy!
Mark's voice has grown and matured as he has become a front man in his own right w Tremonti..... you guys would be mesmerized by his Frank Sinatra tribute album that he did in part for his baby girl !!! Such a good tune - thank you again Sammy for dropping the AB bars 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
You should check out Waters Rising from their album Fortress. Mark is on lead vocals, and it’s a brilliant song, one of my favourites!!
Good to see some love for the Walk The Sky album. Mark has a really strong voice and Myles is the perfect harmoniser with his ability to hit those high notes. Hoping Godspeed gets a listen. Thanks Sammy.
You guys still have 5 Tremonti albums to draw from for reactions all are awesome. Tremonti also did an album for charity called Tremonti Sings Sinatra. The boy hits it out of the park with this one. The best done covers of Sinatra that I've ever heard. Please do some Tremonti and his Sinatra album, thanks.

This song is so good. Walk the Sky gets a lot a crap from AB fans, but there are some great songs on there.
I think the main reason don't dig Walk The Sky is the production/mix. The drums are super booming, and the details get lost in the highs and mids. Still great writing and songs on the album itself.
Believe Mark wrote this about a friend who passed away from drug issues.
I'm surprised that kennedy barely sang this whole song Tremonti I'm surprised. How are they both underrated singers?

This is my least favourite AB album so I don't listen to these songs as much. Forgot how good this one actually is so I may need to listen to it again! For what it's worth, Dying Light and Native Son two really great songs on the album and definitely worth reacting to.
I think the same as you, is my least favorite album, my least favorite songs are Wouldn't You Rather, and Godspeed, this song sounds a little bit like Bon Jovi songs, my favorite song of this album is obviously Forever Falling
I thought 2004 was almost 10 years ago too 😂
