I just love the combination of DBI & Nubass. Here is another fun techno jam I've made up recently with these two beasts: ruclips.net/video/LSG24rNt5Zg/видео.html
Every time I tell myself I have enough drum machines, I come across a great Drumbrute jam that makes me rethink that position. Solid jam, had my head bobbing and foot tapping the entire time
Really good. My only remark is this bell-like thingie which goes a bit before 09:00 and on would sound better if its volume was a bit down. And G-Shock people around the world - Unite! lol. I am with a GBD-100-1e. And surprisingly that Nubass sound actually good. I was skeptical and liked more the Volca Bass.
Thanks for watching! and agree on the comment, it would indeed sounds better with the volume a bit down 😅 G-Shock power!! 👊 lol I love the Nubass, it has a really cool and unique acid sound to it
WHAT ,,, ! I literally just bought the NuBass because of your review.. now I see, I have the Drumbrute Impact, as well as the Roland TR-8S . I am so psyched to see you have the same equipment as me.. I hope you can help me, as I am new at this , and I seem to have issue’s syncing these machines. I hope I can throw you a question, & you can help me out .. cheers. Danielle
Haha thanks for watching! One thing to keep in mind is that in most of my DBI videos I route out the individual outputs to be processed with effects in Ableton Live, so please consider that before purchasing. I've made a tutorial to show exactly how I do that if you are curious to watch first before making a decision :) ruclips.net/video/F5oBot5lkKc/видео.html Don't get me wrong though, the DBI is a fantastic piece of gear and I love its sounds and capabilities, but to get to its full potential I think using the individual outputs is important
The effects you put on the FM drum are just great, really makes it a whole new thing. I’ve spent the last two hours trying to figure out how you got the Nubass to sound like it was only playing step 4 every second cycle. I’m thinking maybe an external delay and/or incredibly accurate setting of the amp LFO?
Hey thanks for watching! Yes, both the DBI and Nubass are connected to Ableton Live where I've added some extra effects on top of the channels signals. So there is some delay indeed on the Nubass
@@RandomNoiseMusic thanks anyway. Your Electribe videos are really helpful. I don't think the difference between the Synth and sampler version matters when it comes to making beats, baselines etc. Many thanks bro 🙏👊💪👏🔥
Really depends on what you are looking for. If you love the Acid sound and looking for a fun gear to add to an existing setup, then yeah i would say its worth it. The sequencer on it is really good too for making some random and interesting patterns. Ive made a review for it back then, might be useful for you to check out if you want:
Hello @Random Noise, please, it is possible to sync more Volcas with DBI? And is possible to sync this gear with Pioneer DDJ 1000 DJ console? Thanks :)
Ah, I am not sure actually since I only have the Nubass.. In MIDI it works by routing a few unites with the MIDI through option, not sure if it works with sync as well.. 🧐 and sorry, no idea about Pioneer..
Thanks for watching! not pedals, but routing the individual outputs into Ableton Live. I've made a tutorial for that if you are interested to check out: ruclips.net/video/F5oBot5lkKc/видео.html

Definitely a neat little pairing! Both very affordable too.

Excellent jam, and these two machines also look very visually appealing side by side. 🤩
Thank you!

Thank you! they do go together very nicely, much fun :)
Amazing live mix - so organic! I'm getting the Impact tomorrow and will do the same setup with the Minilogue! Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you!! 😊 And enjoy your new toy! I was thinking about getting the Minilouge too, this sounds like a super fun setup!
@@RandomNoiseMusic Here's what that mix ended up sounding like with the Minilogue plus a few other toys! ruclips.net/video/rVHwJcm3PdI/видео.html

Thank you! 😊
Great mate!
Thanks! ☺️
amazing… so you can just hook them into amps directly, no need for a computer?
Thanks for watching! You don't have to have a computer, but if you want to connect them to an amp I would suggest to get an audio mixer too
Fantastic! Really sick jam here. I was looking for demo videos to see if the Nubass is worth buying and now I want a Drumbrute, too!

Hello. Tell me how to connect a drum machine and korg? What is needed for this, what cables, etc. Yes. Thank you
You can sync either via the MIDI cable, or the sync cable. Both options works fine
Awesome!!
Thanks! 😊
Love it mate ..nice work respect from Glasgow 👌

The DBI has analog clock-out with "volca-mode” besides midi -in, -out, and -thru, if that is of any help
What pedals did you use for the individual outs?
Thanks for watching! not pedals, but routing the individual outputs into Ableton Live. I've made a tutorial for that if you are interested to check out: ruclips.net/video/F5oBot5lkKc/видео.html
Terrible 👍
