I use a few drops of Dawn dish soap to get them on but it never dried so took them off and cleaned them then used hair spray they are on tight now
I've been using compressed air to get those style grips on and it works like a charm.
Same compressor broke the other day and had to adapt and over come......😆😆😆 thanks for the comment homie
Swapped the boring plastic grips with these pups (Bubble Gum) on a PS2 Thrustmaster bike controller, converted to PC. You put a little bit of hairspray and these fit near perfectly since the tubes of the controller's handles are 1".
Feels like I'm playing a real arcade cabinet instead of turning with plastic. Worth the twenty bucks.
Now I'm off to Beverly Hills on my virtual Dyna Wide Glide. 😁

I got brown ones on my fxlr and I'm really diggin them. They feel amazing. Match the harley logo and lowrider rims.
I boiled some water and dipped them for a few seconds they softened up and slipped right on.

I've done air and brake clean to install grips. I wish these had grooves for safety wire.

Great video. Love that rubber grips. I am so used to traditional HD grips all these years and I have been thinking about getting this type of rubber grips for my new purchased Harley. How do you like'em? The clutch side do not roll meaning moves at all after such periods of times? This would drive me nut...
I love them super soft but they do wear faster. I used brake clean to install but after a couple hours that dries and the grips dont move. I hope that helps and thank you for watching my video. If you enjoy this channel consider subscribing thank you

Can these be installed on a 2021 road king? Also what seat do you have on there? Does that seat lower you at all? I’m 5’6”. I like how driver portion is stitched and passenger is plain. Cool video!
Yes you just need a TBW throttle tube and its a saddlemen step up slightly lowers

Hey Tripp, my factory harley grips have a little slot that the left side hand control grabs onto. Similar to the integrated throttle tube on the other side. Will the controls move at all on the clutch side without that?
Nah you should be able to tighten them down enough for them to not move on you

Do you need the throttle tube for these grips to work?
Yes
I put them on my stock throttle tube and it looks thicker on it but it fit.🤷♂️

Hey man I have the same exact dyna, looking to do the same bar setup you have. Did you have to go with extended brake and throttle cables? or were you able to make the stock ones work.
