Man the honesty from Devon is so refreshing. Thank you
I kinda like Devon in his off season. When he is preparing for a match though... Man, I can't stand his constant crying and complaining.
Refreshing because he's usually not honest? lol
I don’t know if honesty is what I got here
You are just jealous.Mind games are an art and Devon is a master of them. He is a True alpha.
The biggest complaint I have about KOTT is that a lot of people quit. People paid to see the entire show. Devon Never quit, no matter what. Much respect for that.
Super interesting to hear what Devon was thinking during the match.
As a Canadian, we all felt that Bicep go. The biggest day in ArmWrestling in 2022. Thanks for your commitment and bringing the big show to our screens Devon. It was an epic day for the sport!
If Devon's body couldn't hold up to the pressure without injury, then it is a legitimate win for Levan. But, damn, it was a disappointing way to lose.
Lol thay was levans easiest match u clown dave vs latein was the match of the year
@@syntholshoulders1842 why do you need to call someone names. For having a different opinion. Clearly you’re insecure*
@@19Dad84bod Clearly he's a dickhead..(and I like calling names...I'm insecure and my skin is THICK!🤣🤣🤣🥰)people are NOT nice anymore..internet makes them feel a false sense of security....
Finally a video of him discussing that match, long awaited.
Wish we could have seen it 6 rounds without the injury
Agreed. Even with the power gap. I think a few rounds more would have offered enough to show devon its doable. A tear can happen to anyone.
The fact that Levan was putting force in Devon's arm during setup goes to show you that Levan wasn't afraid to test his stamina and strength against Devon. I think the fact that Devon just said he was putting everything in Levans arm and Levan was just standing there holding him in round 2 just shows you the strength gap and how impossible it is for Devon to close that gap with just superior stamina. You can listen to what he says at 6:15 .
@@LB-sh7qt dang I missed that. I knew Levan crushed him. He said he was maxed out before the Go trying to false start Levan in round 2 and Levan was just holding him there like no thing.
@@LB-sh7qt If you look at the match footage you'd see Devon resisted both Levan but also Bill the ref holding him tightly with 2 hands (you could see his hands leave a pressure mark on Levan's arm from holding Devon's pressure), I'm guessing at least 40-50 pounds of side pressure force there from Bill which is sighnificant
Still think that if not injury Devon would have won that. So its worth trying again💪😈ruclips.net/video/KDDCKDFHmV8/видео.html
At exactly 1:06, if we notice Devons eyes, he suddenly morphs into deep reflective/introspective mode as he reliably always does. Lol
Interesting to hear he was already at 100% and Levan just blasted through him. Crazy
Gayvon at 100% is Levan at 10%
Thats what happens when ur underleveled and go for the last boss
You tards are not taking into account the juice
He's an endurance guy. Never been the strongest. Just the most technically sound and best endurance ever. But he ran into Saitama. No beating that man.
@@kboutin3511 ye I really think I should have fought someone else cuz he was at his peak before Levan destroyed his arm
If Devon pulled it off, it might’ve been the most legendary sports upset of all time. Was so bummed when he got injured
yea imagine he didnt got injured round 2
@@someoneprice2371 he would have still lost... Levan is never seen gassing out.
@@someoneprice2371 also he didn't got injured, Levan tore him.
Yup. me too bud. Still am to this day.
@@damnman5113 levan has been seen gassing out. just not in his prime. if you look at his losses you'll see that most of it is due to his lack of endurance.
After round 1, My hopes shot up, I thought Devon might actually pull it off, after round 2 I knew it was over. I don't think Levan is invincible, I also think that was Levan's peak, I don't know if he can reach or exceed those heights of performance again, at least not many more times. But I'm so glad we finally had the number 1 guy in the East face the number 1 guy in the West and get definitive closure on who is the best in the world. It's no longer just opinion, the data is there for the first time in many years.
Something I still don't understand, it was heavy vs super heavy class. How does it work in this sport?
Can any weight go against any other weight class?
@@morganshibby8941 the lighter guys can challenge the bigger ones...
@@morganshibby8941 they both were super heavyweights but the super heavyweight devision is basically anyone over 250lbs. also anyone can pull in a higher weight class if they want to
@@morganshibby8941 The weight classes stop at 242 lbs and everything beyond that is just open weight category so you can be as heavy as you want.
@@morganshibby8941 It was a match to be the best in the world, not to be the best in a certain weight class, best in the world is of course open class. (and even then, that day pancake Devon definitely was a SHW)
I'm from Georgia and I think Devon is the face of armwrestling. He is a very intelligent and humble person. I would like Levan to be similar. Devon's past life is also exemplary. The fact that he served in the elite and toughest unit of the Canadian army, paid his debt to the country and became the strongest armwrestler in the world is impressive.
why people should have "a debt with his country"??
@@lou6977 Maybe I used the wrong word, I don't know English very well.
@@elshali5813 i don't know but everyone i think doensn't have to pay anything to any country, we pay a lot of taxes :D
I don't pay taxes because I don't have a job and even if I do, the money will go to politicians in offshore accounts, not to the country. Come on bro i,m Georgian not Canadian, Georgia is very corrupt country withi bullshit politicans))
Debt to country. lol. Canada is a socialist country that taxes the shit out of their subjects.
When a veteran armwrestler as good as devon is being held at full exertion then blown right through tearing muscle in the process your one bad dude. Levan is a freaking monster that put EVERYONE on notice no doubt about it.
I can speak for a lot of people when I say Devon’s brought more people into armwrestling than any other armwrestler.
Still a legend✊🏼

Devon is the Ali of armwrestling
@@freespeech4023 Yeaah✊🏼!
That's one of John Brzenk's titles, search him up 👍
@@davidporter28 I know who John is for sure and I won’t disagree on that either😊
Freaking love this seriously these are always some of the best videos is when huge matches are talked about after they happen! Thanks to the both of you Guy's from the bottom of my heart ❤️💖 I appreciate y'all's time for doing THIS!! We know y'all are busy!!
Doesn't matter if you are not the strongest, you are still looked at as a ambassador of the sport!
Tarnished
Been waiting on this for so long. Was awesome to listen to!
Devon isn’t hailed enough for his performance and love for the sport, doing 4 additional rounds with a bicep tear against arguably the strongest armwrestler the world has ever seen, astonishing to say at least…
Thanks for sharing these insights! Wish ya'll a great time there 💪
This is why Devon is one of my favorite athletes in the world. He's really nice, he's humble (when he's not in competition lol) and he's entertaining. He also is one of the greatest ambassadors of their sport in the world! He loves spreading interest in Arm Wrestling. He loves teaching. And he is a great and respectful winner AND loser. Seriously, just a great human being all around.
Word! 👍🏻
what a legend. That match also showed that its truly a combat sport
Great interview, levan is a monster. Dev is a hero for the sport, and a guy who rules the room. Love all of this and you guys
Thank You
Glad to see Devan on the road back to the top. He really is a humble guy and wants everyone (competitors included) to be the best version of themselves in the sport.
“I’m gonna get this guy” was the best moment in the match…second round was the worst moment 😂
Losing does a lot more for someone who always wins. If you win, you lose that drive to keep pushing (not always, but it can), and I love that Devon has taken this loss as an opportunity to push himself even harder. Can’t wait to see what he produces.
Now look where he is, freaking heavyweight champion and smashing dudes. Devon is unreal
Aaahh. My heart broke for Devon. Wanted to see 6 rounds of pure energy. Bummed about the injury thay early in the match.
Didnt you see , even before injury he was destroyed by levan
First 2 rounds
So that was gonna happen in the next rounds too
Great stuff! Thanks gentlemen!
Thanks for the interview 💪
Huge respect for Devon in that much. He handled it honorably. Unlike most boxers these days, It was a super match and he didn’t back down.
The crazy thing is as devon said he was trying to false start in the second round so he was loading but no one noticed it because levan was holding him without moving 1 mm to his side or complaining about the false start he is just a Monster
You are still the legend Devon....
Respect always and thank you for your service
You guys are both awesome!!! 💪
Thank You.
Finally a talk that should have happened some weeks ago
Thanks for doing this guys! Ive been so curious about what Devon felt/thought.
Good evening boys love the videos man o man what a fun time this would be
Wow... legendary interview 🔥
Thanks for this Ray!
Love his down to earth honesty
I am an American living in Bavaria. I am starting to get into arm wrestling . You guys are the main reason I got into arm wrestling. I wish I could have made it to the seminar.

Great interview Ray. You asked the question that I was wanting to hear about round 1 before the injury
Excellent interview!
Very humble responses from a guy that thrives on a dominant, legendary persona. Devon is a class act.
Devon is the real man the way he fought,
the way accepted his loose and believed that opponent was too strong and took it as an opportunity to produce more strength for is incredible
I came across Devon larret one day months ago and now I find myself watching this guy all the time
this guy has bought the sport from its knees to lime light, no matter what happens, He is the GOAT
Bigger stronger 💪 faster Great video from the Canadian living Legend. PULL
Insightful interview.
Great stuff Raymondo
Even though Dev lost it was Amazing to see that level of energy. The tention in the air was otherworldly.
Good evening love these videos
This is it right here Ray! My 2 favorite arm wrestlers right here together in one video! Great interview. Keep up the great work!!!!
Very good interview.
Great video
I'll tell my grandchildren about Levan and devon match, Levan truly pinnacle of strength!
Awesome video
Ray you should ask armwrestlers like devon how diffrent opponents hands and grip feels, like john travis todd denis dave etc. How they grip your hand. That would be nice to hear 👌
Love this man SM!!!!❤
That makes sense now. I couldnt tell from watching that his goal was to go all in at the beginning of round 2 and he misjudged how fast Levon could go 0-60.
Double green hoodie. Awesome interview
Such a great interview. Not much interuption and only reflection from Devon's perspective.
Thank You
I'm glad devon is pushing to grow more
For any human to just tear Pancake Devon's bicep at max exertion is just insane
Yoy say Pancake Devon, but you realise he was only 5 or 6 pounds heavier than against Breznk. I dont think he even gained 1 pound a month during his 'all in' pancake training period.
@@jonson481 Different body fat percentage. His right arm was bigger than it was against MMT.
@@phothewin6019
It looked about the same really, and the rest of him smaller. But either way it made no difference in the end
@@jonson481 Doesn't matter if it "looked" the same, it was objectively measured bigger.
@@phothewin6019 Measured slightly bigger 3 or 4 weeks before the match, but he seemed to have deflated somewhat by match day so not sure what hapenned there. Muscle weighs more than fat remember and on match day he weighed in 14lbs lighter than his target weight of 300lbs. Of course 'he said' he was at his strongest also....
Devins commentary makes arm wrestling very interesting
The man, the myth, the legend.... truly legendary
Only man that could of taken him down got destroyed by taking too much, yet he is also his trainer. Hope Levan stays with us for awhile.
What a legend of the sport
ARMWRESTLING = DEVON LARRATT
Let me be perfectly clear : Arm wrestling is where it is today because of Devon. His impact and passion is what has made arm wrestling popular - and for that itself he will forever be the GOAT. He did for Arm wrestling what Arnold did for bodybuilding.
You obviously know very little about the sport. The Legend John Brzenk beat Devon many times. Devon only beat him way after Brzenk was no longer in his prime.
Don't just believe what you read or what others think. Don't make claims that you know very little about either.
@@one4all885first of all, seems like you wasnt trying to understand what this comment is about. Second of all, Devon did beat Brzenk in 2008/(or 2009), the same John that was toying with Cyplenkov, and it's considered as his prime, so yeah, just for the info
@one4all885 🤡
Devon's fighting spirit is truly legendary.
Imagine the pressure knowing that the winner would be #1 on the planet. Great choice of words, the entire earth. Levon is #1 on the entire planet earth and deserves fame and fortune.
Devon is still one of my favorites, and I still can’t stand Matt🤣🤣🤣 thanks for the great video
Larratt is why i started to watch arm wrestling
This was good content
Great interview. Team no limits
We need Devon vs levan part 2, A rematch must happen
The indepth of this is awesome, I wanna know those details
I'm glad we finally have a video discussing the fight where the comment section isn't a complete dumpster fire
Big respect for Devon!
It seems to me that part of what really makes Devon a champ is his ability to step back, absorb the loss, but to also be introspective about it to figure out how to be better next time.
I start watching arm wrestling because of him.
This guy is a legend no matter what.
Levan is a different beast Dev. We all know you’re special !! Can’t wait to see you back on the table💪
It's called riods on riods.
I'm definitely not willing to break my arm on the table
They are both champions!
That match was like Goku vs Jiren first time
Devon: before start, i Just pull full Power, and levan Just hold it:) what a Monster
Still my favourite armwrestler. Nice guy
Levan was so dominating it's not even close.
We all wanted to see that “what if” moment come true
Lovin the Wolverine Chops Larrat...GOOD on U!!!
Wat an absolute legend
I'm proud of you win lose draw I'm a proud Canadian way to go you gave it your best
Interesting choice of couch ;)
Where is the Seminar going to be?
True Legend 👏👏👍👍 love the guy
Awesome
Devon would have made a great wwe wrestling personality.
Levan Saginashvili king of the table
"It's gonna be a blast"
He's old now. But he's always the legend, the best.
God bless Canada's strongest arm wrestler, he's a legend to the world.
I’m a spectator of arm wrestling because of Devon, not because of Levan or Dennis. Every sport needs a Bull Hurley to bring the drama which makes the event, and that guy is Devon.
@00:18 Devon should get a gimbal. It’ll make his footage look good no matter what phone he uses.
