I like the bonuses to Fire Teams based around the same unit/keyword. Makes fielding a whole squad from a box more tempting. If only to replicate the cool squad cover photo. And, as you say, avoiding four stock rifles cheering on the special weapon trooper.
I love your content. Explaining and understanding the lore behind every rule and why the fireteams are what they are makes it more exciting when playing the game.
Awesome video! Couple of rules issues. At about the 3 min mark: "If the required trooper is neutralized, that fireteam ceases to exist." If they were not the leader, that fireteam will still be a fireteam, unless that fireteam has specific text that says otherwise (like an Oznat in a Hungries fireteam in Morats). At 3:50: "FTO" next to a name, doesn't necessarily mean it can join a fireteam in the sectorial. It is just a way to denote specific profiles in cases when it *CAN* join a fireteam. Looking at Perseus in Vanilla Nomads, he's not on the fireteam list at all, but in Tunguska, the FTO and the FTO 2 options can join different fireteams.
@@WarLore I know what you're talking about, but I think you have it wrong... Let's look at a hypothetical Celestial Guard team, made of 1 celestial guard and 2 dakini. If one of the dakinis is the fireteam leader, and the celestial guard dies, the fireteam still exists. In the annex, page 6, the section "Fireteam Integrity" enumerates all of the ways a fireteam is automatically cancelled. None of those reference the minimum in the fireteam chart. Additionally, on page 17, "Example 11: Fireteam Integrity" has this exact scenario play out with Morat units. Now, Taskmaster fireteam is different. Why? Because, in the fireteam chart, it has this specific line: "The fireteam is automatically Cancelled if the Taskmaster leaves the Fireteam." This specific fireteam says how it acts differently. (As do others that act similarly in different factions.)
@@WarLore Interactions with marker states and visibility zones would definitely be great to go in depth on. Marker states are immensely powerful and unique to Infinity, and understanding how they work and how to deal with them (and use them optimally) is a huge hurdle for newer players, I find.
I’ve mainly used fireteams as a distraction. My opponent always feels that my 4 man fusilier and one CSU are major threats so they always chase those kills.
no camo is a marker state that one needs to discover before shooting unless using an intuitive attack. Stealth is if your outside line of fire but in Zone Of Control you don't generate ARO's. To have both means if it is outside LOF it won't generate ARO but if it does get in LOF the active CAMO player if he decides to stay in CAMO forces the Reactive player to either Discover, Dodge , Look out !, Reset whatever but not shoot unless it is an Intuitive active because of LOF on the CAMO marker.
For me, all the others (whilst excellent) were aimed at people who had played the game for a number of years. However, yours walked me through the rules and changes at a beginners level ( have only been playing 6 months - Nomads & Pano) .Hence, my son and I can watch your video and discuss. 😀👍
This video is aimed at new players.

You make great vids, keep them coming. 👍

I agree. I hope we’ll get more special bonuses too
Thank you for your hard work. This is really helpful considering I'm going from C1 to N4.
I'm glad this was helpful :)
The best video explaining Fireteams in Infinity N4.
Glad it was useful!
Yes yes yes! more infinity I demand! 😂
You got it ;)

Thank you, I think so. A lot of game mechanics and ideas are very interesting story ideas as well, and fireteams are one of them : )
You definetly are undersubscribed. Very good content on Infinity.
Aww thanks man. It's just a niche, I recognize that.

at 3:00 I was referring to the way that Celestial Guard and Taskmaster teams require a trooper.

Just got into Infinity and your channel is a great resource. Thanks for all your work!

I did one about the setting? Is that close?
This was great, as a new player it helped heaps.
That's what I was hoping for :)
"What else is there to say? Probably a lot!" It's funny because it's truuuuuuuuuuue
I will never unsee Tron lightcycle fusiliers
Thank you for the video. What Terrain did you use for your haqqislam table? They look good
thanks man! It's a mostly Wild Land Store, who are very good an inxpensive, based out of ukraine, and have lots of great Infinity designs

pretty smart! I'm just afraid of losing the orders.
Is the stealth the same as being in camo?

@@rossmilespickersgill502 Okay, thank you for the explanation
Huh. Seems there has been some changed in past two years. 😮
I have been busy with my studies, and just past Christmas I graduated. 😅
Some big upgrades! Pretty easy, hopefully the video helped.
@@WarLore Yes, it did make it very easy. 👍
Random Gunsmith Cats appear...have mysub
I think about them often
Really concise and helpful :)
glad I could help :)
Love your content, although the lore is more important to me as an Infinity Roleplayer.
It's rough man... Both of my Invincible fire teams got wiped out by the SSS in a match last night :'(
Getting into infinity, it’s a mess for beginners to start the game compare to 40k with a lot of step by step for noobs
