Overwhelm of ideas and usually taking up too large a chunk to do, aka task seems too big and too difficult. Thanks for the questions, I can use some of them in my next client session!
This is timely as usual . I think when task seems quick and easy but not a usual task. Then I don’t start even though excited, cause I can’t just sit down to start . Brilliant videos
@@mindvalleycoach yeah , thanks 🙏. Further when thinking I decided to write a sticky note night before with the one tiny first step to find proper email. Forgot to write it because it’s not yet a habit lol 😂 thanks 😊 for reminding me of this boring task I must do of completing questionnaire survey ( overdue ) so I don’t get fined since I’ve got a virtual terminal .
In summary, the 4 reason why we procrastinate are: 1. Things are too easy or we're too comfortable 2. Things are too difficult 3. We are not aligned with the task So we should ask ourselves: Are you doing these for yourself or because others told you? Ask yourself what's the 1-3 things you can master this year. Ask yourself how easy the task is? How exciting is it? Ask yourself how hard/ challenging is this? 💯💯💯
Thank you ... this is my first time listening to you!!! Brilliant and direct guidance... all 4 apply to me. Going to follow these principles NOW and keep this in my face
I would like to do podcasts Ajit and I also sometimes feel overwhelmed at having sooo many ideas. Thank you for such great information , you are wonderful.
Great insight, Gracelyn! We're so glad this video helped you become aware of that so you can now take action. And for your first few steps, we recommend watching this interview on how to start a podcast from scratch: ruclips.net/video/A3Isxeuo6e8/видео.html. Thanks for sharing ❤
Identifying the challenge is the first step to overcoming it! Now's the self-coaching part: how will you take action and move forward? Thanks for sharing, Ismail ❤
Thank You So much Ajit Sir Today I got the very crystal clear answer of my procrastination. I also got the practical strategies to overcome the procrastination. I am 💯 % sure that now I would never procrastinate . If I do , I must watch this video again. Thanks a million times.
Love this. Thankyou...I listened to 3 of your videos today, love, money and this video and have listened to many more.. Very useful. I started 3 courses to find my way to financial freedom and help others in a more meaningful fulfilling way, well as working in a full time in a demanding job that's not in alignment with myself.. feeling like I need to hurry to get to the finishing line but finding it all too much..
Happens to all of us, Sandra! Just remember to take the time to process and implement what you learn. Getting overwhelmed with information but no action will keep you in the same place. Pick one goal first and start taking baby steps. Everything else will then fall into place. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
When you mention that ONE THING can take 1-5 years.... Would you say that this is the reason so many solo-entrepreneurs' fail? Focus on ONE and have some patience while you celebrate the progress vs the final goal???
Yes, exactly! Focusing on the ONE THING and being patient is the secret recipe for success. Many entrepreneurs fail because either they do too many things without focus or they give up / run out of patience because they don't see results fast enough. So it's consistency, focus, and always taking action. Thanks for sharing ❤
To many ideas. To many directions of possibility. 1-3 ideas focus. 3 decisions a day. One way of talking to people, one way of getting them to understand what I do, One way to enroll them, ONe way to deliver results. The three things would be. 1-a handful of creative driven clients that want to live an extraordinary life. 2- my book development via exciting conversation and integration 3-building community of compatriots fellow coaches with similar goals. Small daily goals. Alignment/3 things I can do really well/ how can I make it more challenging/how can I chunk down in to daily action segments.
Which of the 4 reasons to procrastinate do you resonate with most or do you see your clients falling for? Share it with us below!
I think overwhelm is the number one reason I procrastinate. Everything seems important so nothing is important.
So true, Edia! But the power of awareness is that it allows us to do something about it ;) Thanks for sharing ❤

I never thought about the "too easy". But indeed, if it is too easy, it's boring and I start fidlling around with it.
Right!? Now you know ;)
