What John doesn't know about Plants.... is not worth knowing! ☝️😃💥
What a gem you are John, a wealth of knowledge mixed with some mirth, with a tad of frenetic. Makes for a perfect video. Thank you.
Hi John, haven't seen you in awhile. We have missed your videos. The hydrangeas are absolutely beautiful... The whole garden is absolutely beautiful. Please please do a video of the whole garden. There were so many plants you were passing by that I wanted to see! LOL absolutely stunning. You have different varieties of a hydrangea then I've heard of here in America. Always love your sense of humor.
carol aaron well said! I feel the same as you. Karin , from Cleveland, Oh, USA
I was thinking the same thing, this year he didn't makes too much videos, he was saying something about his knees, hope he's ok
I love this guy but then again How can you not love an Irishman. Lovely garden Bravo!

Zorro is stunning with the black stems and Bluebird. I like to see the different types of plants by you. You are excited about them too.
Yes, hydrangeas are heavenly. Thank you, John for this video and listing your varieties as you always do. It is so helpful. Now I will have the pleasure of watching again and noting which new plants to incorporate into my garden. Currently, I have 5 different varieties with my favorite being 'Limelight'. Never to disappoint, the blooms this year are huge! I wish I could include photos! Thanks again. Maria
You have a wonderful mix of hydrangeas and plants that are thriving profusely in your warmer garden. Unfortunately some will not thrive as well in my zone 4/5 garden without winter protection. I really do love the “Zorro” & “Selena” bigleaf hydrangeas. Since I cannot grow them, I will enjoy looking at them in your garden! Thanks 🙏 for sharing! 💕🇨🇦
having my morning coffee watching you great way to start my day with a smile thank you beautiful hydrangeas
Danke für so viel Schönheit!!!
Great shirt John!
LOVED EVERYTHING!!! Thank you for the wealth of knowledge and your energy is fabulous!!!
Your garden is my dream garden, inspirational! Thank you for sharing...

Great video - and I really like his shirt.
Fabulous tour John. Thank you for adding more varieties to my wish list!
I've got the black steel variety! But my favourite is the limelight, looks great in a formal garden
Love your beautiful Garden
Absolutely GORGEOUS flower beds!! Thank you for the tour!! Truly inspiring!!
I live in North Western Washington State, all of our hydrangeas are blue because our soil is so acidic it makes hydrochloric acid look like a fizzy soft drink.
This man is fantastic, as an trainee ammeter gardener and not knowing the first thing about plants he gives you the confidence to tackle all plants. Most of all you get the names to search.. This puts all the tv garden shows to shame. "Thank you" John
Just love watching ur videos ,
Oh! To be in that garden!
Très très beau , j'adore les hortensias et hydrangeas !
I have the pinky winky. I planted it with my son just 2 weeks ago. I can't wait to see how big it can get
You are absolutely wonderful! You've inspired! I've a nice size front yard (1/2 acre) which has been plain old grass. I'm now thinking of converting to more of what you have! If you ever want to stay in Brewster NY in exchange for guidance, please let me know. My dad's mother's family was from Cork. Thanks!
I love those hydrangeas! The color, incredible
Ireland's weather is beautiful just like Ireland!
Beautiful hydrangeas... Have not heard of you for a long time...?!
Such spectacular grounds! Thank you so much for sharing! Just gorgeous & so lush :)

Fantastic stuff 👍
Informative video, thank you John!
John can I also suggest that you do a monthly garden video walk? Would be lovely to see the plants best in season but also useful to see how you do garden maintenance.
Thank you very much for this lovely video. I wish you make one on type of compost and fertilizer you use in your garden and when you use it
Great so lad you're back doing vlogs, so interesting
Good. Thank you
Hi John we bought 3 Limelight last year, they did quite well this year flowered too, we have them in Pots, we need to put each one into a larger Pot. x i just love the Colour Changes the flowers go through.
Thank you. Wonderful.
Hello John , can you up load more videos more regular please.
Beautiful!!
Ah gosh our garden is incredibly beautiful & so very lush
Would any of these flowering shrubs grow in the tropics like in the West Indies?.
Мне очень нравиться ваш сад!
Lovely
John your garden is amazing. Everytime you walked around I just want you to stop and tell us more about the different plants. You have just added more plants into my wishlist! If I can respectfully suggest that you look into getting a better video camera. I've seen other garden bloggers with much better camera but only a fraction of your gorgeous garden. I don't know what to suggest but maybe something with a good picture stabiliser.
Lime light is from China.
Having temperatures in the 90s in America so shocking to see you in a long-sleeved today. lol
@Steadiedmoon 788 here in Scotland we have not had a heat wave couple of nice days with lots of wind and rain and a massive storm at the beginning of the week with a lot of damage
@@annescott6137 My thoughts & blessings are with you! So sorry to hear about the train crash in Scotland! I'm afraid to say I think it was another sign of the extreme flashes of weather connected to global warming
@@King_Alfred_849 hi thank you yes the storm was terrible thunder and lightning all night and the rain was coming down like a tropical ran storm ,not far from where I live there were massive land slides is wee holiday coastal areas by the see lots of people lost there holiday homes very sad 😞
@@annescott6137 My thoughts & blessings are with you! I am half Scottish myself 🙏
@@King_Alfred_849 oh that's great I bet your are proud to be part Scottish stay safe take care
You should try some Oak Leaf Hydrangeas. I have 8 varieties but the herd of deer where I live love them and ravish them - they are so tame the sleep 6 ft away from my deck ... of course it is right next to my hydrangeas too.
My two incrediballs flopped completely over. Even after being supported & staked they collapsed. Never buy them again. My Limelight has thrived and loving life along with the lace caps. So I'll be planting more limelights in future
The white H. serrata might be 'Kiyosumi'
What on earth do you feed them with John - those are huge!
Would love a close up of that last hydrangea😅
I just adored that last Hydrangea , I wish I could have one but I think it wouldn’t survive California 🧐to hot and dry here
Lovly watchen 😁😁😁 glad u got rid of the elavator music 😂😂 u show do more on pampas and mini ones u can grow in a small garden I'd love to buy one but have a clue what to get 😁😁💕
John, please tell those of us in the US what type of soil you have & do you use fertilizer?
Have you tried Mexican Hydrangeas John....
😊👍
I’m in the south east and I feel we are well into autumn now ..
Hey John
If you have a garden centre......i was wondering where on earth do you buy your plants from?? 🤣
Wouldnt mind a bit more irish mild weather here in germany....
Your hydrangeas are so much larger than mine. Do you feed them? Although three of mine are only a couple of years old due to their predecessors being badly affected by the very hot summer a couple if years ago, the one original hydrangea is quite old. How can I encourage it ?
I rarely feed our hydrangeas as the our soil is rich enough and we always mulch with bark. I noticed this year with the very wet late summer we has masses of late growth.
I always see the zorros being advertised as low short varieties 🤷♂️
Camera man needs to zoom in on the flowers and plants more than the host.
Johns very easy on the eyes if you know what I mean !?
Our weather is like the flattened curve in a well managed country who dealt with their Covid well 😆🤣 Flattened curve weather 😆
Lol!
I am in zone 7B in the United States of Amerikkka, and I grow my limelight hydrangea in full sun and it’s doing amazing, the foliage hasn’t even scorched. It’s an amazing hydrangea, I think it’d do a better job at being president than Trump. 😭😂
