I really liked the flower section of this video - such great diversity! Food for thought!
Wonderful!
Do another one of these favorite plants - but don't rush. Make it an hour and we gardeners would watch it! Like he says, the horizon is ever so far away (moving target), we can't get enough.
I just love looking at your garden. Just breathtaking...
Sir John Lord....I just love your show! You're full of energy. You're the only one that I know of will tell the names of plants. I learned so much from you just watching one show. I don't usually watch any others show to the end. But...yours I watched to the end! I'm going to watch everone of them too. I'm so lucky to ran in to you. By the way what is the name of the plant behind the"astrantia"? It's chartreuse color. It's just beautiful and I adore plants that has chartreuse color. I wish to visit your gardens some day. I never see your garden center before but I know it's the best one there is. Please....stay the way you are and be safe! Nooh USA

Hey I just discovered this channel and so looking forward to binge watching! I love Perennials - they’re the unsung heroes as they are so easy to achieve drama and colour on a tight budget. I’m starting a channel myself and I know I will be coming back here for inspiration to tweak my own borders. Look me up if you’re a beginner or want to begin a garden for children …. Great Fun. 👍
great informative descriptions John and can pause while I write the names of plants down.
Really beautiful plants. Thank you for the video!
I love your videos, such a wealth of knowledge. Have a nice day xxx
Wow...love seeing each individual plant. Would you make a video about creating good soil. Mine is clay...and it’s taking me years to build it up.

You said on another video that you garden for the foliage and I see from each video, and this one especially, how it makes a difference and also contrasting with different coloured leaves. The flowers are the bonus :)
How cute is he😍
Just subscribed to your channel from NC,USA. Need to make a shade garden.
John, I love your garden. Is it open to the public? If I ever get to Ireland I would love to see it in person. Your videos are fun and informative. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice
Just found your channel and absolutely love this video, will be sharing. At the very end, what was the gorgeous burgundy flowering shrub beside the off white rose?
cool...in his own way
Has to be the best garden centre in ireland with the most entusastic owner.
the garden is beautiful, and I love his energy
I enjoy watching your presentation and giving the name of the plants but it would be great you add the zone next to the plants name. Thank you
Really great plants what I want to know is what you do when it all dies back john do u mulch it
Do you bottle up and sell some of your energy and passion like you pot up plants?!! Love your videos, keep 'em coming!
Love your channel. Pls tell the camera guy that it’s ok to get closer to the plants, we want to see.
I am learning... fast!
Hi john someone said they'd love what your on, o think it's the pollen and nectar 😀 you seem A happy guy In the garden may God bless you and keep you safe . North Ireland☘️
John can you recommend something to treat rose slugs that have been attacking my Rosa Bantry climbing rose the last 2 years! Completely ate through all the leaves. Any ideas?
Mr. Lord, what I like about you is I feel you are a tad crazy, but the good kind of crazy - plant crazy. I can relate
Your videos are SO much better without the music. Very interesting.
The jack sparrow of gardening
You sir are hilarious. How fun to hang with you, eh?
I was wondering is there a reason John why didn't you take a cutting from the Aralia, as it's expensive to buy, so why not propagate?
Beautiful but what zone are you in? Would love to know how cold it gets there so that I know whether to consider any of these plants, without having to look up every one. Thank you
He is in the East of Ireland, which would be a European zone 8, but here gardeners do not really use the zone system, relying instead on local knowlwdge and also knowledge of the original native home of the plants they use to decide if a plant is worth trying.
@@dismith73 thanks. I like his videos but a lot of it won't apply to my area unfortunately. I'm in zone 5.
What about solanum ratonetii? Why don't we have anything on this plant?
Lovely garden, great tips, fun presenter BUT please ditch the music...very distracting....
3:36 "Porple sycamore"
I no nothing about flowers but I googled photo it. I had to as it's Hugh. Monster flower . Just want to know as much information on it . Will it come back next year. How big can it get. Do I need to prune it?? Help!! 🤦It's called .. Malva Sylyestris Mauritiana. Don't know if it was wild flower seed or what. Thanks
Oi tink dat thears nottin mare mad dan a mad oirishman , Here are two things I love, a mad handsome Irishman and a garden !! thank you xo
A very "foliant" garden
Forgotten more than I know
Have you heard of a disease that makes roses look all wild, lost all my roses and Ithe new buds looked deformed.?
It might be rose rosette disease. If so, you have to get rid of it (the rose) fast as it will spread and kill all your roses. Look it up and read about it. If that's what it is, it's a disaster.
Supermarket Sweep
Pretty but to fast
What's that background porn music?
Agreed - please ditch the music! Irritating and can't concentrate on your delightful commentary!
I like it tbh
What music?
I'm concerned.
Please stop the music. It is not needed and tremendously distracting. Mr. Lord does a wonderful job all on his own.
Crack?
How much
If someone could harness his energy there'd be no more global warming .
I think he likes china
Stupid music is so annoying! Mr. Lord doesn’t need annoying background music to make him look more interesting.. Let him be!
