  • We started off our day with a short game drive followed by packing up camp and heading to the Kruger Station Restaurant for some breakfast. We then head on the road to Berg-En-Dal and see a few things along the way.
We make it to Berg-En-Dal and set up camp and take a walk around the fence line and end off another brilliant day in the Kruger Park .

That steak looks delicious. I'll have to try the grilling method you described.

They lie in the road to get warm. Mom must have been watching. 😊

We figured but it's crazy how comfortable and not phased they are by vehicles driving right past them, he never flinched. He just carried on snoozing as though we didn't even exist😂

Loving your vlog, you two have seen some amazing things!! Awesome sightings!!
I’m not the greatest birdie, but I think this may be a Pearl-spotted Owlet at 3:35 ― but I may also be very wrong!
Keep up the great vlogs!! Looking forward to your next adventure 🤘🏼

I've watched all your videos, incredible, thank you!! I wanted to ask:
    - Do you think a 4x4 is necessary, or something like a tall suv with only forward traction is good enough (like a ford ecosport for example)?
    - Are there fridges in some camps, or can you get ice there for the portable fridges?
Will you do a final video about the pros and cons of each area? I'm super conflicted, because I want to see the big 5, but the big crowds around Skukuza throw me off a bit.

Thanks so much for watching all our vlogs so far, we really appreciate that💯👀
      1. No, a 4x4 is definitely not needed, a SUV or taller vehicle has the pro of being able to see out a bit better but any vehicle type can handle the roads of the Kruger.
      2. Yes, if you stay in the bungalows or chalets, they have fridges. For camping, we just bought ice every day for our coolers, every rest camp has a shop that sell the basics, we bought ice and wood almost every day or every 2nd day.
      3. Yes, we will do a video of some sort re-capping our whole trip and doing pros and cons. We went in June and planned it so that we weren't there during school holidays or long weekends and during our time in Skukuza, there were a few cars around the big sightings but very manageable. I can't speak for how the crowds are during peak season though (we tend to make sure to avoid those time when visiting the park). The skukuza area is definitely worth a visit but if you want to see ALL the big 5 then you would need to visit more south of the park, our stay at Berg en Dal was amazing, we loved that area.
      Hope that helps a bit:)

Hi nice videos, just a quick question. What time is ideal to arrive at a camp site? I have a trip coming up to Skukuza and Berg en dal
