Hello! Did this one for fun and editing practice. Please don't tell me I'm wrong, but instead tell me what your favourite things are. Whether it's your favourite character, story element, song, weapon, food item, place, boss battle, fighting style, inventory item, equipment, health bar colour, outfit, NPC, texture, ability, heat action, cutscene, dog (Mame or Pochitaro), or whatever else. Maybe, you'd prefer to just say your absolute favourite thing across the whole series? Whatever it is, comment below and I'll take a cheeky peek because I like seeing what people think about that sorta stuff. Yes, I know the game is Metroid Dread.
To be honest Yakuza 0's chapter 1 probably is my favorite part of the game in series, it's just such an amazingly badass introduction dammit. But how can I forget the sewers, Tachibana monolouge and Nishiki + Kiryu duo fighting Kuze.
My favorite thing is either the original stabbing scene in 2 with Crazy Ken Band or the final chapter of 0. The cutscene with it's original music is probably my favorite cutscene in any game ever, and 0's final chapter gets me so fucking pumped. Both Kiryu's part and Majima's.
Me it was chapter 6 the yakuza way. Second fight with Kuze with his motivation speach and later the scene with Awano dancing with this chick blew me away
For me, 10 years ago, I was watching IGN's first 10 minutes (or so) of Yakuza 4. I was interested when they showed open world urban exploration. They caught my eye with Akiyama's speedy kicks. But then they got my attention when in the first combat encounter the playtester did a heat action and Akiyama suplexes a goon onto a railing.
Oh for sure! It was my first introduction to Majima since I had never played a Yakuza game before and I was completely enamoured by the cutscene and story and Majima’s character. so wonderful
My favourite thing about Judgment? The insta"kill" EX action where you get a rando to take a ride in a yakuza car. Got it randomly and that was hilarious.

My favourite thing in 6 is the Yomei Alliance, a very unique Yakuza organisation that stems from the never ending Tojo and Omi feud. As described by Date, they are very conservative, somewhat mysterious, and keep to their own turf, Hiroshima. They really felt like true Yakuza. I love those moments in the story where all street fight encounters are replaced by Yomei Alliance patrols, it really made them more menacing, even though this gameplay change was first introduced in 0 in chapter 9 "Ensnared". Yomei Alliance goon skins are also much more colorful and unique, ranging from Stajuns to full on 3 piece tuxedos. Their heavies speak in a rough, rash, corse Hiroshima accent, which makes them incredibly menacing, especially when they yell a fat "ORYAAAA" before drop kicking you through the entire side walk. Everything about the Yomei is perfect, and I beg to see it coming in other RGG entries

Ok but real talk, pride from despair is probably my favorite part of Kiwami 2, to the point that I felt actual disappoint playing 3 and realizing how tame Kiryus karaoke songs are. Seriously, it’s a song that perfectly describes both Majima and Kiryu, and it’s just a killer song overall.

For me though, the prospect of playing a yakuza game in which you have a party was mind-blowing. A very well written and likable party at that, I love every single one of those characters, and I think it’s a very exceptional game’s greatest strength. Judgement: the best rgg story by far. The qte events and cutscenes are absurd spectacles for sure, but the story of this game is even better. Rgg stories are usually nonsense, they’re mostly good but very hard to follow, but manage to hit you in the right ways at the right time. Judgement is a legit mystery, with a main bad guy whose identity is secret, but is still given time to be a bad guy on screen (dodging a pitfall that a lot of these games fall into with their main villains).
Hell yeah to all of those especially the pizza sub story and Shinada who a lot of people hate for some reason but I love him. Especially at the end like you said that shit was so emotional when he realises all of the friends he has and how much everyone cares for him. Takasugi is also a beautiful man
The Ryuji fight's QTEs and other little animations in the fight were very cool but I wish he was stronger or that Kiryu was less overpowered in Kiwami 2 :/
So I'm not the only one who gets into every possible fight in Sotenbori in Kiwami 2 because of Outlaw's Lullaby? Like when I'm in Kamurocho sometimes I run away from random encounters because I couldn't be bothered, but never in Sotenbori.
They need to keep the hub area with all your friends, and karaoke from LAD for all future games. I've every yakuza games installed, across PC and PS and Karaoke is my go to mindless stress reliever. LAD nailed it.
Best things to add for a future video 0 : Majima as a protagonist and each character's final battles. Kiwami : Removal of More Speed = More Combos, Rush style being useful. Kiwami 2 : Best Version of Hostess Club 3 : Mine being a better villain than Shibusawa. 4 : Akiyama, Akiyama, Akiyama, Tanimura's combat, Akiyama, Tanimura's Dynamic Intros 5 : Shinada having a good story and character build-up, Haruka's concert rhythm game is pretty fun 6 : Best looking Dragon Engine game ever despite having issues by cutting down what you can do in Kamurocho, best soundtrack from the whole series since it's more emotional (edit : don't forget about PCF) 7 : JOON-GI HAN IS YOUR ALLY NOW, Ichiban Holdings, Best "ridiculous" substories ever, crazy summonings. Judgment : Best story in Yakuza game. Fist of The North Star : Most brutal heat action.
I'm gonna have to agree with everything you've said here. Also, yeah Majima as a playable character genuinely was a really good decision by the developers because he's such a fan favourite that being able to have a whole story as him was amazing. But I didn't say it in this video 'cause I didn't want to overlap talking about multiple playable characters
@@TheDwan443 I agree, Yagami just seemed really uninteresting as a character for some reason to me too. Maybe I was just having high expectations for the Protag since I played Y7 before it.
I feel like the stab scene in 2 original is also a deep moment. it's a lot more impactful than kiwami 2's since it added a suffice to the stab, ruining the tension and confusion.
I do hope that tanimura is the main character on judgement, i like his new model, and i hate the fact because they lose an Actor they really trash tanimura character and existien completely, like WTF, tanimura should be more Involved in Yakuza 5 because he in Yakuza 4 ending sure become some kind of date cops duo, he really are perfect for judgement ngl
Joon-Gi Han being Vergil with the Bodyguard job is cool :). Also for me, the turn based gameplay is more engaging than your typical turn-based gameplay. Probably because the involvement of the Perfect Guard mechanic, and Perfect Damage ( the one where you either time your button press, or mash it). And oh, don't get me started on Business Management. Safe to say, I'm hooked on the game until now. (129+ hrs and still counting, haven't even maxed all my personality yet lmao).
It's a very addicting game and I never thought of actually making Joon-gi Han Korean Vergil with the Bodyguard job haha. But also yeah the only turn-based JRPG I can think of where timing button presses affects the gameplay in some way is Paper Mario so I'm glad they did it. It rewards you for actually taking part in the battles, rather than just sitting back and selecting attacks or auto battling
@@SnowiestAngeman A little fun fact, If you look at the English Description of "Essence Of Diabolic Slash" (which is the ability that cemented Joon-Gi Han as "Korean Vergil"). It literally has this in the description: _Slash the enemy with enough force to tear the underworld apart._ _ahem, ahem_ Yamato _ahem, ahem_
I love the trope when you know shit is about to get serious or the fight is a key important one for the serried if someone takes their jacket and shirt off.
Destiny is a great song but I instead chose to record his first fight and edit the music so that it syncs better with his dynamic intro. I thought it looked very cool doing that
It's a little bit funny that even though Yakuza 4 was the first game in the franchise that I played, it (and Yakuza 5) made me wish we could've gotten another game with just Kiryu since I enjoyed his play style the most even though I still liked everyone else to an extent with Akiyama being my 2nd favorite. I don't know, I really just wanted more games with that moveset which technically we did get with Kiwami but it isn't really the same and the less I say about what I think about 6 and Kiwami 2's combat the better.
I can't believe it took me as long as it did Nishiki has a koi fish on his back which means if we go off of Japanese folklore He too is a Dragon. There's a story of a koi fish who swim upstream until he reached the top of a waterfall to achieve then became a dragon
Something I actually always do for no reason is whenever I'm fighting enemies near a shop I jump kick through the window and then go back out into the street to fight enemies. It's just hilarious haha

So I'm not the only one who gets into every possible fight in Sotenbori in Kiwami 2 because of Outlaw's Lullaby? Like when I'm in Kamurocho sometimes I run away from random encounters because I couldn't be bothered, but never in Sotenbori.
I do indeed do that haha
They need to keep the hub area with all your friends, and karaoke from LAD for all future games. I've every yakuza games installed, across PC and PS and Karaoke is my go to mindless stress reliever. LAD nailed it.
0:49 Ok bro we get it... you have a better gaming chair we get it bro no need to flex
My gaming chair makes me omnipotent I gotta flex it sorry
i love how he shows literally every other yakuza game but youtube's just like "Yea this is the one that hasn't even been officially announced"
Best things to add for a future video
0 : Majima as a protagonist and each character's final battles.
Kiwami : Removal of More Speed = More Combos, Rush style being useful.
Kiwami 2 : Best Version of Hostess Club
3 : Mine being a better villain than Shibusawa.
4 : Akiyama, Akiyama, Akiyama, Tanimura's combat, Akiyama, Tanimura's Dynamic Intros
5 : Shinada having a good story and character build-up, Haruka's concert rhythm game is pretty fun
6 : Best looking Dragon Engine game ever despite having issues by cutting down what you can do in Kamurocho, best soundtrack from the whole series since it's more emotional (edit : don't forget about PCF)
7 : JOON-GI HAN IS YOUR ALLY NOW, Ichiban Holdings, Best "ridiculous" substories ever, crazy summonings.
If yagami wasn't a rubbish character judgment would be excellent
@@gamwpanagia bruh what
@@TheDwan443 I agree, Yagami just seemed really uninteresting as a character for some reason to me too. Maybe I was just having high expectations for the Protag since I played Y7 before it.
If shinada didn't suck yakuza 5 would be way better
6:05 First time I saw PS3 Kiryu I was weirded out as hell. I felt that PS2 Kiryu looked better at the time, but then I got used to it.
For me the best thing about Y6 is the best antagonist (Joon gi Han)of the whole series and his banger theme song (and of course the lovely Ono Michio)
1:25 I just noticed that this monitor ratio shows you more of a cutscene! 16:9 always ends on a half of Kiryu (as intended I presume)
Yeah I had an ultrawide mod on but normally it actually shows like 60-70% of their face so you can see most of it anyway haha
Honestly, any of the dynamic intros and action sequences from Judgment fit the category
And Yakuza 5 has by far the BEST version of Baka Mitai, of course being Akiyama's version lol.
To me the best part of 4 is still the Pure Love in Kamurocho duet with Hana
I feel like the stab scene in 2 original is also a deep moment. it's a lot more impactful than kiwami 2's since it added a suffice to the stab, ruining the tension and confusion.
Missed the opportunitiy to put Joon Gi han in the thumbnail
I tried but it didn't feel right so I scrapped him sadly :(
7:21 I’m pretty sure that this is ishin, yup you got it right
Ah, thank you. I wasn't too sure
Oooh actually now that Tanimura has a new actor I wonder if they would put him in Lost Judgment? It would be extremely cool to see
@@SnowiestAngeman would've been... can't we just get a spinoff with tanimura in it already? He is literally only 2 years older than yagami
It's even weirder when Tanimura's not in Yakuza 6 considering Little Asia literally burnt down and all
dude u forgot the taxi in yakuza 5 and playing as haruka but i still like this guy
Yeah true the taxi races were pretty epic but uhhhhhh Haruka was uhhhhh not
Akiyama is the best part of any game he appears in. Fight me. The only other character that gives him a run for his money is Ryuji in Dead Souls.
It literally has this in the description:
_Slash the enemy with enough force to tear the underworld apart._
_ahem, ahem_ Yamato _ahem, ahem_
@@falanteris5402 Damn, so he really is Korean Vergil
1:13 I see my final battle wasn't the only one ruined by lag during the cutscenes before.
man i really love these edits
Thank you I hope you enjoyed the whole video
Akiyama in 4 was the best thing ever.☝️
I love the trope when you know shit is about to get serious or the fight is a key important one for the serried if someone takes their jacket and shirt off.
6:47 *kiryu has never killed anyone*
Kiryu has actually killed everyone
Yakuza: Dead Souls not mentioned
Everyone: oh no, anyway
Yeah pretty much
Good News!
The best thing about 6 was the baseball.
5:41 FINALLY SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME.
Chad Yakuza Like a Dragon enjoyers
7:02 emmmmmmmm, Yakuza 1 USA release want to know your location.
Judgment had a bunch of topnotch fight scenes
4:27 I'm surprised you chose bloodstained philosophy over Destiny (last fight someya theme)
Destiny is a great song but I instead chose to record his first fight and edit the music so that it syncs better with his dynamic intro. I thought it looked very cool doing that
Destiny is great but bloodstained philosophy hits different. There’s no other yakuza song similar to it’s vibe
I just can't when I see the yakuza dead souls is on 8:05
burh you serious🤣
Angeman: best things in each yakuza game
youtube: LOST JUDGMENT
The best things in every yakuza game = everything about these games
Best part of 7 is the friends we made along the way
only in yakuza games you can say that one of the best things is how they improved the karaoke and the songs
Never thought a yakuza video would make me want to play Ghost of Tsushima again.
5 for me has gotta be when when Saejima fights a demon bear twice and wins both times.
Started watching this earlier this year. Then had to stop at 4 cause I hadn't played it...
I can watch the video up to 7 now :)
I WANT YOUR THUMBNAIL NOW
I will reply to you in about 7 or 8 hours with a link to it. Text or no text?

It's a little bit funny that even though Yakuza 4 was the first game in the franchise that I played, it (and Yakuza 5) made me wish we could've gotten another game with just Kiryu since I enjoyed his play style the most even though I still liked everyone else to an extent with Akiyama being my 2nd favorite. I don't know, I really just wanted more games with that moveset which technically we did get with Kiwami but it isn't really the same and the less I say about what I think about 6 and Kiwami 2's combat the better.
The world needs another officially playable Akiyama
Loved akiyama and his playstyle. Yakuza 4 and 5 had so much fun with PlayStyles and also locations.
Shun Akiyama
Literally kicks ass
7:17 hold up that's not yakuza ishin that's ghost of tshushima
Really great video! Editing is real engaging… loved it dude
Thank you also I thought your profile picture was Colonel Sanders for a sec
I love that you had nothing for Dead Souls.
There is nothing that can redeem that mess
I can't believe it took me as long as it did Nishiki has a koi fish on his back which means if we go off of Japanese folklore He too is a Dragon.
There's a story of a koi fish who swim upstream until he reached the top of a waterfall to achieve then became a dragon
I loved the openness of Kiwami 2 and being able to toss thugs through a smile burger window.
Something I actually always do for no reason is whenever I'm fighting enemies near a shop I jump kick through the window and then go back out into the street to fight enemies. It's just hilarious haha
@@SnowiestAngeman Who ever is selling and installing these windows love us.
As a Yakuza Kurohyou player, J can safely say to all Yakuza 0 players that there are Mr. shakedowns in the game
Dead souls didn't make it but the best moment was majima chapter and that kazuma intro.
Man seriously pulled out ghost of tsushima for the last one lol
The moment you see Han Joon-gi and he looks like TOP from BigBang from Fantastic Baby video :D
First few scenes of Yakuza 0: Yoneda getting his shit kicked in.
1:54 i was expecting "10 years in the joint..."
I've waited 1 year until i played all the Yakuza games first then i could watch the video just because it says spoilers ahead in the beggining.
