The bank with the hand is Thing from the Addams Family. I had a copy of the 1930’s monopoly. I had Don’t Spill the Beans with real beans that I got in the early 70’s for Christmas. My mum and I used to play Chinese Checkers when I was a kid starting when I was about 4. I had booby trap in the late 70’s early 80’s.
I'm 71. Kids our age during school recess played a variety of 'carrom' games in the 60s. A favorite of mine that I got my wish come true in '64 was a bowl-a-matic game. Yahtzee was another favorite with children and adults. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! What a trip through Christmases of the 60s (especially the Hot Wheels and the board games (had the clicker, Spill and Spell, and a few others as well. Thanks Tom. Way better than what is available for Christmas these days!
Funny thing is, just the other day I was thinking about Sizzlers and couldn't remember the name for the life of me. I got it for Christmas in 1973 and loved it. Mine had a smaller charger, though. I would eventually put a Scooby Doo sticker on the charger. The track had an overpass and cars would jump off it to the track below. Lots of fun!
Another great show Tom! I received the Life game for Christmas in 1964, I was 11. My great-grandmother had the Parcheesi game...played it with her a lot. She was born in 1890. My dad bought the Jarts game because he liked to play horseshoes. He did not want the rods in his yard. So he play horseshoes at my grandpa's house lol. They practiced for all summer firemen's field days. Enjoyed! Take care!
Hi Tom, OMG I had so many of those toys a million years ago. Loved my hot wheels had the power station. Must have had 4 sets of tracks. I still have my wizards tops. Wooden tops you wrap strings around. I have a wooden puzzle clock with hands (Timmy time). So many board games. Thanks for the memories. My mom's parakeet loved to throw game pieces around 😅😅
Thanks for sharing. I'd forgotten many of those such as the trains that turned a different direction and Whizzer. I had both of those. The Whizzer didn't come with anything 'cool' like you had though. It was just the top. If you can find the dolls from the sixties {not barbie, real dolls. :-)} that would be a fun video to see. Baby First Step, Cheerful Tearful, Tippy Toes, were some I remember. I'm with you on Parchesi, it was never fun.
Nice video. I wish you couild find The originaal Hands down and Quick shoot commercials. Also any ideal game ads not already on you tube would be great.
I'm 55 ive always enjoyed the game of Life every so often. Today people say its a pure garbage game with no strategy that's all up to luck. That's exactly why its so fun...things you dont control happen to you. Just like real life, lol. I have a 90s version and a recent version. Your jobs in the newer version can include influencer. Now THAT i dont like at all.... LOL My friend had Jarts...we purposely played it more dangerously than necessary but no one got severly injured. Was it the weener whistle people used to make free phone calls at pay phones? I cant remember but there was a plastic whistle that you could blow in the receiver on a pay phone at the right time and make free calls.

I had one ☝️ of those games that had the guns but it was the ok corral and you had to knock down the cactus to get at your opponent’s cowboy 🤠
I had Gnip Gnop and Jarts!
Now I know where my "creepy hand" bank went. - Your Brother , Bob
I thought that bank was pretty cool. So disappointed to find out that Tom stole it from his brother! Shame on him!!
@ I agree! Ya think you know someone....
It's mine. You probably stole it from your little bro.
In case you were wondering, Tom. That was an Addam's Family Cousin It Bank that came out in 1965 or 66. Just how old were you in '65? Case closed!
@@robertszontagh1297 lmfao! 🤣🤣😂
Put a light coat of veg oil on the bottom of that "Game of Life" Spinner and it will really go!
