I grew up in the 1960's. I didn't remember Bash until you took it out of the box. I remember that flat hammer. The Concentration game was a pain in the butt because of all the paper pieces. Honestly, you spent half of the time playing the game putting all the pieces on the board. Thanks for the reminders of days long gone by.
I was a big fan of the Video Village TV series and acquired the home game when I was in the 3rd grade. I used to take it to school and play it during recess until the teacher told me to leave it at home because the other kids weren't getting exercise.
Thanks for sharing the games. The only one I remember is Concentration. I'm 65, when I was growing up we did not get a lot of store bought stuff we had to make our own fun.
I remember playing Head of the Class, Concentration back in 70’s… fast forward 20 years my Sis’s & I unearthed (2) 1960’s board games that had been handed down to us from a cousin tho we never saw them as they were stored in a Kirby vacuum cleaner attachments box. The games were Park & Shop & the Barbie Game. I recall Park & Shop had a card or a space on the board that read ‘woman driver ahead of you, lose 1 turn’. The Barbie Game was no better…lol. Object of the game go the Prom with hunkiest guy & get crowned Prom Queen. There were 4 guys, & from what I remember their names were, Tom, Dick, Harry & Poindexter.
Concentration is the only game I remember playing but I think I recognized seeing a few of the others. I had the Cootie game which I only used to make the bugs not play the game. Enjoyed the video. Thanks.
I was at an estate sale where games were piled on a closet shelf. I was looking at a game when a girl asked for the Park and Shop game below it. I gave it to her not knowing how valuable it was. Now I know!
I just went to an antique barn today. I was trying to remember the game that was on TV. I am so glad you showed Video Village. I had this game and now can tell my husband. I have my mother’s Cootie game and it has to be over 80+ years old. I also have an earlier version of Concentration. The only game a friend had was a shopping game but it used tiny grocery carts not cars. Can’t remember what it was called. Hopefully, you might know it?
Bargain Town on Grand Ave. My Dad took us there a lot. Had all the Hot Wheels cars when they first came out, 1967 or '68. Weiboldt's at Harlem & Irving.

My little sister had a beautiful fire truck pedal car. And my older sister had the concentration game. It was SO much fun.

The game I played most in the 60's was jump rope. My brothers played marbles. I do remember some of those board games. Really cool video.

Weiboldt's at Harlem & Irving.
There was a Weiboldt's at Harlem and Lake, too, and in my memory Bargain Town became Toys R Us.
These videos are the best!
How about Gooses Wild? I loved that game. Also, Situation 4 and then they came out with Situation 7.
My grandparents had cooties and all nuts and we played them for years❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
I've always been curious, when you climb up the dumpster and jump off. Where do you land?
I land in Alley Picked heaven :-) lol - The dumpster was nearly empty.

Cootie came out in the late 1940s. . . you just happened to have the 1966 edition . .
I was gonna say... I remember that game well before well before 1966.
Where is "Rebound" by Ideal toys? Loved and still play it today. 😊 cool video
