No, Tristan Gebbia was the closest thing to Dylan we have ever seen in Nebraska, at least, in the last 40 years. He didn’t even make the field because of Adrian winning the job, under Frost. He was a fairly decent pocket passer.
This is the 60th Anniversary of the Blackshirts. They need to make a big deal out of it to me. Single digits are individual effort, Blackshirts are Defense players only.
I’m in agreement about the RB room. Dowdel was flashing, but he fumbled it. Emmitt was solid but everyone was pretty much serviceable. I understand the frustration for the staff.
I like single digits because the it gives everyone on the team a chance to contribute. For all these decades there was nothing the offense could do that was equivalent, yet nobody complained about that. Blackshirts as a tradition has gotten too much focus, iMO, anyway. It's still the name of the starting unit but we don't need to make it into more than what it is.
