If the guest is talking then keep the video on the guest. Use a simple timer when editing if you feel strongly about having to switch. Example speaker talking explaining something complex whatever takes 5mins. Don't switch the video until after 45secs(or 1min 30 or etc) of them speaking continuously

HIMARS is a truck with a crane that 1. picks up the rocket pack then 2. points up into the sky to aim the rockets, the rockets fire, go up and come down on the target
This process needs 3 guys and takes a couple minutes. You can deliver the rocket packs to locations before the HIMARS get there so it can fire, move, reload & fire way faster than the Russian rocket trucks. HIMARS can fire a single ATACMS guided surface-to-surface missile or rockets with a high explosive warhead or metal pellets that act like a shotgun on the target (used against anything really: tanks, armored vehicles, infantry, enemy bases)

15:27 another way to look at it: When i started working in the Navy, almost all the SE i worked on in 1991, was reworked Vietnam era equipment (Ronald Reagan channeling Orpha: You get a Detroit! You get a Detroit! YOU get a Detroit!!) that was slowly replaced with more modern units (mainly replacing the gas units with diesels... which were often POS. I'm looking at you, A-42). The GWoT was Cheney's turn to channel Orpha, mainly by flooding the SE market with products from Hydraulics International. They even replaced the legacy A-31B, which we had since the start of the Viet Nam war. The Argentine Navy might still use it... so yeah, my wheelhouse is obsolete AF.

Exactly. Nothing to do with the supply chain, nothing to do with profit margin or shareholder value. When you have the largest military the world has ever known, and pretty much everybody in charge wants to make it BIGGER…. Might sort of be a clue there.
We have fourteen aircraft carriers to Russia’s ONE. Do we think Russia is dangerously under armed? And we only have 14 because we play games calling the dozens of assault carriers a different thing but those would be aircraft carriers in any other country but us.
If we stopped procuring *any* new weapons system what would happen tomorrow? Well we’d still have the largest. Best equipped most advanced fighting force for the next twenty years at least.
You could make the argument that us’ lack of weaponry was dangerous in the lead up to www, but in reality the us navy was just as strong as it needed to be and we held off Germany AND JAPAN. IF Ukraine has taught us anything it should be that we don’t need 800 foreign military bases to fight the likes of Russia or china. And in the case of china hey maybe we don’t even want to get into an arms race we can’t win.

Twenty-five years ago I was a software development manager paying contract employees $75-100/Hr. ($140-150 in today's money), and that was for average developers, not state of the art design engineers and system analysts. Doing a quick search of Shenzhen, China for software engineers, they earn $50K - $100K, about one-half a counterpart's salary in the Western world for the same skill level who are working "9-9-6" (9AM to 9PM working 6 days a week).
