I've seen countless videos of Martyn talking about his accident, some amazing insight, but the constant positivity that he's had over the years is inspirational. Going back only a short time in mountain biking and none of this would be possible, what an incredible feat of technology. Absolutely love seeing Martyn shredding, my favourite videos on this channel by a long shot!
Martyn, you utter legend! i will follow you if you like and set you right when you have over cooked things. You are a constant inspiration to everyone!
The fighting spirit / love of life, and positive attitude that Martyn Ashton projects is next level. He is a a true gent, and a cool geezer with balls of steel
Boy, you guys are ripping! Damn you make me feel inspired, and sad of my riding at the same time :P What a machine as well! Love the articulation on that front.
Seeing Martyn riding never ceases to put a smile on my face, no matter what my mood, or how crappy my day can be; just inspiring... I forget all my worries for a while...
That looks like so much fun Martyn , I am glad to see that Bowhead's are evolving and becoming more capable. Next they should figure a way for the rider to right themselves. Like a ram set that you can attach to your bike when you fall over to push you back upright, working much like a dropper post or a mechanical ratchet system. Keep shredding Martyn👍
The "dropperpost" idea is actual quite cool. I don't know if it would be possible to build something like this small but powerful enough. But that would be an amazing edition to the bowhead
Those Bowheads are beasts, takes some balls to chuck it down the narrow section in particular, both front wheels are in constantly in unstable ground. Looking forward to coming to see one of your talks later in the year Martyn.
Credit where Credit's due to bowhead 👌. What a great piece of kit and helping more people enjoy the freedom out on trails. I'd love to have a go on one even though they do look quite difficult to master but the smile factor would out weigh that. Not sure how long my rear end would last though 😂😅.
I know it would be an expensive addition but Martyn's Bowhead has a roll hoop, put a backing plate on it with a couple of electronic actuators with base plates so when he rolls, they can push him up to an angle that he can recover himself from. One on each side. Then he won't be stuck singing mountain tunes, trying to identify wild flowers whilst waiting for predators to come find him if everyone has gone ahead on the trail. Cole was definitely styling it up there. Side by side burnouts are always fun. Martyn is always happy blasting a trail.
Love seeing Martin Shredding 💨🚴♂️💨the bowhead. How great is Martin he's such a Cool 😎 Dude. To keep smiling & boot 🥾 it off again in style class absolutely brilliant 👏. I for one want to see alot more of Martin Shredding 💨🚴♂️💨. He's so funny very well done 👍✅ Martin your a inspirational Hero 🎖️ Rock 👨🎤 on Keep Strong 💪 Keep Shredding 💨🚴♂️💨 Hard with smile's happyness too share 🤗
Those look pretty fun. It looks like you can move the bars left/right to adjust the camber of the front wheels on-the-fly in addition to steering. That's pretty smart.
Looks rad, would like to hear how Martyn goes getting used to it and what it feels like, what's difficult, what easy, what's different to other adaptive bikes he's ridden
With regard to toppling, could some form of centred piston be manufactured under the bike, that could be controlled to go left or right with a control on the bars to give some leverage and self-right the bike?
After having my grandson over we watched a lot of Bluey. My thoughts are you could be a backup voice guy for Bluey's dad.😅 Love the video looks like you have a great time and I'm very happy to see you shredding.
Martin laying in the woods turned over wasn’t supposed to be funny. But I’ll admit I giggled a bit. Great to see bikes for everyone! Looks like those are super fun.
That looks like a lot of fun! I'm genuinely interested to know the reason why the design aims to sit the person with legs straight at 90 degree angle, instead of a design similar to Olympics race wheelchairs where you sit with bent legs.
What are the differences in the geometry (front suspension, center of gravity) and settings (shock stiffness) of both bikes? Why does Martyn's tend to fold rather than self-correct in limit situations? Impressive machines though!
I found it always difficult to call this trike "a bike". Obviously not because of the amount of wheels, but because it is purely e-powered. Now I am struggling even more - that thing has a rollcage! 😀
It looked like the suspension setup had improved, with Martyn getting bucked a lot less than on his previous one. We only saw the one jump, so it could be the take-off, but it looked a lot smoother. I am sure we will find out sooner or later.
The business 👌 both such an inspiration 🙌 that bonehead needs a hydraulic bar that comes out the side and pushes you back straight after a fall to the side. Quality viewing again 🙃
There is plenty of leverage to be had through the torso, but arms are just too short to use it. Just carry a stick strapped beside the legs, ready to deploy for self rescue.
On the one hand, I love to see anyone out enjoying the trails. On the other hand, I hate to see anything with a motor sending rooster tails on the trail....
i wonder if their bikes could be used for those that are not paralyzed, but have motor skill challenges (autistic) that can't balance a traditional bicycle, but can ride a trike just fine? I have been looking for something they could ride with me or their friends family.
Martyn Ashton. Ever humble and never stops inspiring. Legend.
I watch GMBN occasionally, but a Martyn video? Every single time, without fail. More of this please
Love seeing Martyn out and about, a beacon of positivity when life is difficult. Thanks Mate !

well if i kept getting £20K - £30K fully electric adaptive bikes for free i would be super excited all the time too.
We need more Martyn adventures! Especially back on the random tandem 🥳😋
That looks like insane fun your guys Shred it to Pieces ,big respect 🙏🙏🙏🙏😎
You guys rock. Proper shredding.

Big respect to Bowhead for making MTB even more inclusive 😊
Martyn is never not happy riding, you are what we all aspire to mate, great fun
Its great to see how mountain biking is becoming more and more accessible for everyone.
Yes, if the person with accessibility issues has a reasonable bit of cash.
EBike content like this should be welcome! More Martyn ripping features please.
Holy smokes Martyn that looked amazing all of it the new Bowhead, with that view, and the riding. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there.
The fighting spirit / love of life, and positive attitude that Martyn Ashton projects is next level. He is a a true gent, and a cool geezer with balls of steel
Martyn, you are a Legend. Thank you!
Always love Martin's adventures. Never miss them. Thank you Martin!
Sweet !!! representing Calgary… love to see it allowing everyone to shred!
Just wonderful to see actual shreddin available to so many more people with these amazing machines 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Inspiring 🤙🏻
I love that someone who is limited can participate and be able! That trail looked good too!
I love the adaptive MTB stuff because it puts a big smile on Martyn's face, and he puts a big smile on mine.
Love hearing your laughter as you're ripping down that trail Martyn! Thanks for the motivation today.
Those adaptive mountain bikes are awesome. Looks like so much fun.
I loved reading about you and Martin when i was younger. To see you still finding ways to have fun keeps me happy!
I was just thinking the other day, I'd love to see Martyn shredding. This is rad!!! Definitely include more of it!!
Martyn you are such an inspiration and a legend
Boy, you guys are ripping! Damn you make me feel inspired, and sad of my riding at the same time :P
What a machine as well! Love the articulation on that front.
I'd love to see Bowhead racing, trials etc. The articulation of the wheels is incredible.
Love seeing the Bowhed videos! I think it would be really cool to see a Bowhed skills coaching session! Those sharp turns and jumps are incredible!
Seeing Martyn riding never ceases to put a smile on my face, no matter what my mood, or how crappy my day can be; just inspiring... I forget all my worries for a while...
No limits, no fear..fun times inspirational & positive = mighty martin Ashton ❤
Great vid fellas! Those bowheads look an absolute hoot to ride...
👍

Could well be achieved with a small compressor run from the bike battery and a small ram
Those Bowheads are beasts, takes some balls to chuck it down the narrow section in particular, both front wheels are in constantly in unstable ground. Looking forward to coming to see one of your talks later in the year Martyn.
Great ride you got Martyn, cheers
Martyn on a Bowhead machine? Well that's a natural fit. Those guys make awesome stuff!
if not already an Olympic sport, it needs to be
Looks like lower center of gravity and wider stance between the two front wheels would be an instant upgrade and avoid those tip-overs.
Those are awesome my would of loved these before he passed
Love watching these Bowhead bikes, they are such cool looking machines (and even though I can pedal my own bike I def want to ride one)
This modern mountainbikes really are getting longer and lower 😅
Cool video. This looks like so much fun!
Bumped in too him and the GMBN crew at the 417 project tow months ago. Had a nice chat with him, really nice guy. And he liked my intense tazer 😊
Truly incredible!
Brilliant video, great looking and performing trike AM bike ...wonderful skills displayed by both riders.
Thanks Frank 👍

"it's easier than it looks" LOL. way to go Martyn
Fearless buggers...we need a Bowhead XC series, yesterday.
I need a GCN+ documentary about Martyn
I know it would be an expensive addition but Martyn's Bowhead has a roll hoop, put a backing plate on it with a couple of electronic actuators with base plates so when he rolls, they can push him up to an angle that he can recover himself from. God Martyn is just a fantastic ambassador for this sport.
Awesome video! Those are such cool machines!
He is simply the best 😎
Incredible fast bikes these are! Wonderful ride! 😊
Nice one Martyn 👊🏻

Rock 👨🎤 on Keep Strong 💪
Keep Shredding 💨🚴♂️💨 Hard with smile's happyness too share 🤗
That was awesome
Guys need to carry a two way radio on you mt his way your a call away incase you get tipsy.
When Martyn is not being extraordinary he's being Superman.
These two mad lads corner better than I do in 2-wheels. 😆
Those look pretty fun. It looks like you can move the bars left/right to adjust the camber of the front wheels on-the-fly in addition to steering. That's pretty smart.

Martyn I recently put a picture of your Bowhead in a presentation I had to do about inclusive active travel facilities
Hell yea Martyn 🤘🏽
Hell yes!
Sick vid narly rides funny crashes
Hats off to Bowhead for keeping these crazy @%ers out on the trail!
After having my grandson over we watched a lot of Bluey. My thoughts are you could be a backup voice guy for Bluey's dad.😅 Love the video looks like you have a great time and I'm very happy to see you shredding.
literally took "motor cycle" to next level xD
although i am glad more people can go moutain biking now, so thats a win win scenario
I live in Abbotsford BC ,, how can I demo the Bowhead RX. Is there any bike demos in the Fraser valley soon?
The only Ebike I love
Is there a Bowhead self rescue righting system and a bigger rollover hoop so the rider isn’t stranded waiting for a lift after crashing to the side?
Blasting around in one of those looks more fun (and safe) than blasting around in a ATV.
hmmm ... 12v linear actuators to upright the trike ?
Martin laying in the woods turned over wasn’t supposed to be funny. But I’ll admit I giggled a bit. Great to see bikes for everyone! Looks like those are super fun.
It would be heavy, but you could have a self righting mech built into the hull.
That looks like a lot of fun!
I'm genuinely interested to know the reason why the design aims to sit the person with legs straight at 90 degree angle, instead of a design similar to Olympics race wheelchairs where you sit with bent legs.
Oh man, I feel for Martyn after that first crash being a face full of poison oak. Hopefully the goggles prevented it from getting in his eyes at all.
That is awesome....did your cameraman get poison oak?
I feel so bad for poor Martyn 🙈 why didn’t he have a guy trailing him? 5:39
Those bikes seem great, but I wonder if they could also invest some accessory or device that could help you stand back up, in case of a crash.
Great to see martyn is still a nut case on a bike he is definitely not a (well i use to do this and that) person. 👌
What are the differences in the geometry (front suspension, center of gravity) and settings (shock stiffness) of both bikes? Why does Martyn's tend to fold rather than self-correct in limit situations? Impressive machines though!

🤩🤩🤩
I think I may need a horn for emergencies?

Martin, you need someone to fabricate you some robot wars style srimechs mate
I was just about to comment this too XD add a flamethrower or a spinning disc while their at it!
Correction! "its not as easy as it looks"😅
Голову ещё свернуть осталось до полноты картины
On the one hand, I love to see anyone out enjoying the trails. On the other hand, I hate to see anything with a motor sending rooster tails on the trail....
Get that thing to Tirpentwys trails you will have the time of your life Martyn and bring one foe Johnny Harris.
i wonder if their bikes could be used for those that are not paralyzed, but have motor skill challenges (autistic) that can't balance a traditional bicycle, but can ride a trike just fine? I have been looking for something they could ride with me or their friends family.
So these are OK on the trails but Surrons aren't ???
