I am from Austria and I‘m realy happy that we finaly have also s big event on thr IJF Tour
My knees are always hurting, so I must be doing great judo 😂😂😂 Thanks for all the videos man! So good.
Actually a lot of Georgians like really low Tsurikomi Goshi/Tsuri Goshi, Harai Goshi, Makikomi etc. entries, so the head diving changed that approach here as well.
yeah they've stopped doing it.
did they change the world champion by +100 is it tasoev or teddy
Lol I came here for the same news. I DID NOT SEE THIS NEWS ANYWHERE
Seen the heavyweights final? Last decision was hilarious. They let so many close situations go without shido and gave a final shido after Kone "stepped out" out of his own attempt.
I just tried the same thing that the dude did to Viero to a junior => ippon
That was so much fun.
great ashi guruma!! really nice!
Deashi and Sasei, nice throwbros ;)
You didn't mention anything about the Cypriot in -60kg (petros christodoulides) who won bronze at just 19😢
Did you not see Mai from Germany who took silver at -100 kg? He produced some crazy Ippons including Uchi-Mata, Ura-Nages and Front Uchi-Mata. Especially the match against Böhler from Austria was crazy.
man I dunno what happened. I downloaded these ones but just forgot to put them in... Argh!
Hi
Lol, you gotta do something about your knees. Great clip, btw, (Add the heavyweight ippons-I didn't see them but a bunch of dudes saying there were some great ones.)
Have subscribed to a channel for the first time. Really appreciate how this channel helps us follow Judo, I'm white belt but it seems like a difficult sport to follow. This channel makes it fun to keep up with and I also find it very educational and well explained. Thanks.
Cheers @twobasses!
Wow he replied
Where do you train?
And which belt you have?
I’m in Osaka. 3dan at the moment
You forget a big ippon of hassan doukali team Morocco in -73 kg
The Moldavian at around 04:40 is mihail latisev and I think he’s been junior world champion last year
Nice that ashi-guruma of yours!. Cheers mate!
You missed one of the best ones,Anto Dubreta threw a beautiful ura nage in +100kg
I just had a look, great throw!
Is it just me or is some of the judo on display here really sloppy
Great video, thank you! I've been hitting Ashi guruma in Randori but can't work out how to do meaningful Uchikomi for it. What do you do @JudoHighlights2015 ? Do you think Goncalves does the Harai you showed in uchikomi and then just has the muscle memory from randori to hit these big throws in competition? Cheers!
It’s hard to say. I know a lot of Japanese guys do moving reps and situational stuff. I’ve done that a bit recently and it’s helped
Check out this one instagram.com/reel/Co92cQ6gICl/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
@@JudoHighlights2015 Thank you! I'll give some moving and situational stuff a go. Super cool to see how Nogami does it too!
The throw at 4:00 is really awesome ive been working on it myself and its probably the best throw i have in my arsenal, if done correctly its unstopable
I try to do it too, I'm in the way to develop that massive technique in order to perfect it
@@noillimrev3209 its really not that hard, just wait for him to grab the sleave pull in arm under go in with your leg and thats it, the only catch is that you have to do it 100% the first time and get an ippon because after that your opponent will see it coming
@@aharonwaldman6384 Thanks for the advices, I'm going to put it into practice 🤝🏽
Great content you need more subs
How about some throw oriented vídeos - top osoto garis, top ashore gurumas, top kosotos, top counters
I’ve got a few out there. Seoi and osoto
O BOM LUTADOR QUANDO DERRUBA JÁ APLICA A IMOBILIZAÇÃO. A MAIORIA DOS BRASILEIROS FICA OLHANDO O QUE O JUIZ VAI DÁ. AINDA BEM QUE SURGIU UM BRASILEIRO DIFERENTE. PARABÉNS GAROTO!
Wow Torne, this guys could go far, nice Ippons
At 4:19 he got disqualified for head diving.
Where is morrocan😢
did I miss something?!
@@JudoHighlights2015 We have great Moroccan judo players, but I don't see them in these big matches.

not a judoka, so a rule question from me: at 3:18 what is the judo rule about so called "frames" (bjj terminology) . white seemed to be hesitant but i am most likely missing something
If your asking about getting frames to get distance when someone is pinning you down:
In judo, we can't use hands on the face, but we can use forearm on the neck, and on the side of the face. Is that it?
@@_bitheadnull4518 exactly, using elbows(or rather forearms) for distance management. thx for the info!
