    Actually a lot of Georgians like really low Tsurikomi Goshi/Tsuri Goshi, Harai Goshi, Makikomi etc. entries, so the head diving changed that approach here as well.

    Seen the heavyweights final? Last decision was hilarious. They let so many close situations go without shido and gave a final shido after Kone "stepped out" out of his own attempt.

    Have subscribed to a channel for the first time. Really appreciate how this channel helps us follow Judo, I'm white belt but it seems like a difficult sport to follow. This channel makes it fun to keep up with and I also find it very educational and well explained. Thanks.

    Great video, thank you! I've been hitting Ashi guruma in Randori but can't work out how to do meaningful Uchikomi for it. What do you do @JudoHighlights2015 ? Do you think Goncalves does the Harai you showed in uchikomi and then just has the muscle memory from randori to hit these big throws in competition? Cheers!

    not a judoka, so a rule question from me: at 3:18 what is the judo rule about so called "frames" (bjj terminology) . white seemed to be hesitant but i am most likely missing something

    • @_bitheadnull4518
      @_bitheadnull4518 Год назад +1

      If your asking about getting frames to get distance when someone is pinning you down:
      In judo, we can't use hands on the face, but we can use forearm on the neck, and on the side of the face. Is that it?

    • @animanaut
      @animanaut Год назад +2

      @@_bitheadnull4518 exactly, using elbows(or rather forearms) for distance management. thx for the info!
