I have a video going live today with their 608N 16" 5.56mm midlength upper, the thing is accurate AF. I checked the torque on it when I got it, and it was right in the middle of spec range. It's a good idea with any new non premium brand upper assy to either assemble it yourself, or to double check everything yourself when you get it.
Glad to see they got you took care of - i love my BCA 6.5 grendel the only two complaints i have are the price on ammo and the mysterious existence of the one and i quote one mag that properly runs the ammo i would love to see Magpul and Lancer build these mags so we have more than just Alexander Arms mags to choose from
I’d love some lancer mags for Grendel!
Looking forward to seeing what the best load is for your hunting setup
Good stuff. Very happy for you. I reckon you will work up some sweet hunting loads. Enjoy.
Coming soon lol
Very nice! Lots of potential for a tack driver. Looking forward to seeing some deer hunting results this fall with it
I sure hope I can show you, I gotta put at least 4 in the freezer every year to keep these youngens full lol
@@thegundungeon I know what you mean. My wife & I eat a deer a piece each year. We treat venison just like beef when cooking. We try to use it as much as possible to reduce the amount of beef, chicken & pork we buy as we like venison, and we know it's better for us
@@frankbrowning328 yes sir, I try to use it in place of beef myself and we try to use as much rabbit in place of store bought chicken as we can too. We raise meat rabbits and chickens but the chickens are mainly for eggs.
@@thegundungeonMy wife & I LOVE rabbit. I've eaten it and other wild game my whole life. Rabbit is such a versatile meat and it's so lean. The other, other white meat. Squirrels being the other dark meat. When I've been the cook, I have never had anyone complain about wild game. Butchered, cooked and seasoned properly it's delicious.
I have this same upper and it's very accurate...
Wow! all the difference in the world!
Much more gooder lol
I went to Ollies and got a big ass tarp for cheap and use that to not have to dig through the weeds finding brass.
There’s a hole in the ground right beside where I lay prone, think there was a plant there that got pulled up a long time ago, but it catches most of the brass if I lay right lol.
What a difference! Look forward to seeing the DB test.
Curious. I've never noticed before that you use your left eye. Is that because it's your dominant eye, just more comfortable for you or...?
I use my right eye, I just have to lean over a bit more when prone to get lined up
@@thegundungeon Okay, I had to look again. Just the angle and _my_ bad eyes. 🧐
I have the same upper. It prefers H4895 . Sadly I'm having a hard time finding it. It'll do .6 groups with a Hornady 129 gr interlock hunting bullet . I won't say the charge wt because they are hot loads . With match 120 gr bullets it'll do .4 groups so I'm quite happy with it.
This one is much better than the first one. Not sure why they over torqued the first one so bad.
@@thegundungeon mine will do sub moa with H335 but I really would like to find some H4895 that It likes better still. I'm glad you got it sorted out.
Been waiting on this video, I seen your dilemma with that other barrel, glad you got it straightened out, still curious about velocity in 16 in compared to 18 in. Is it that much different to go the extra 2in for hunting. That 16 in grendal you got sure shoots sweet groups
There’s not a whole lot of gain from 16-18 honestly, especially when considering the ranges that I typically restrict all intermediate cartridges to.
Oh, and my wife has commandeered the 16” so it’s not mine anymore lol 😂
Need the Grendel to become more popular
@@Rillosarmory lol as long as production of the ammo keeps up with demand and doesn’t shoot prices up lol
