Thats actually the only question that i cant answer. Everything else is completely easy to answer or not important enough, but Marco not being seen with Sasha or the rest of the Survey Corps was probably an Isayama's mistake.
Her getting pregnant to avoid eating Zeke made no sense because 1. Eren knew he would get rid of the 13 year curse and 2. Even if he didn't, he could have just started the rumbling/done the wine thing before they had a chance to feed Zeke to Historia.
@@elonaackerman4163 and to be honest I have only known of ANR or any Erehisu theories fully after ch 139...I hated the ending because it was incoherent and inconsistent with the rest of the chaps...and I say you're right it's lighting up ch139 as a failure of an ending....
@@ziphyzephyr7131 Well I am not into erehisu since a long time too. I noticed something in the uprising arc but I read the scans recently and obviously noticed something was odd and mysterious about them. Isayama insisted so much on Eren protecting Historia and doing the rumbling because if he doesn’t, Historia will have to be sacrificed: then that motivation of his is totally forgotten in 139 ? What was the point of Hanji being suspicious ? I thought about so many theories after 130, even one where Erehisu wasn’t canon but the child was unnatural and meant to have Ymir reborn so that she can help Eren in exchange for the rumbling. But no she just had a Stockholm Syndrom. I am so disappointed with the story bruh
@@elonaackerman4163 true, that outburst of emotion of Eren in the prison cell alone, can make you notice something like Hange did... Hahaha.. And to call it a red herring bec of 139, it seems too much of long of a wasted panels and blatant parallelism with Ymir....You can really can think that it is an impt plot... Especially it goes along with the impt theme of "redeeming the sins of the father", of which this theme was never answered in ch139 or maybe I'm missing something.... And also yes, I was thinking that maybe Ymir can have a new chance in life by being reborn whether Eren is the father or not... But please can they please give a face or name to dear farmer kun, just as nicolo is to sasha... Lol...
I feel like introducing fate just took out the consequence of every action in aot. If eren's rumbling was just fate, then its not at all his fault for committing genocide because he literally had no other choice. He was just a meat puppet for ymir.
That was my biggest problem with the ending, of course characters not being themselves is bad, but when the big boy ymir time travel and the "past present and future" were shown, it makes you not certain what parts of Eren's reasoning was really his.
Some people: THE ENDING WAS PLANNED LOOK AT THIS BIRD SYMBOLISM IN EPISODE 1 AND THERES A BIRD SPECIES CALLED JAEGER!" Okay sure it was planned...doesnt make it good though
Heres another one: Remember when Eren was talking about if a titan shifter dies without passing their power, it gets transferred to a random Eldian baby? We never got to know if this was true or not so it was left as a maybe. Well can you guess who died after Historias baby was born? Zeke. Without passing his power. That was a huge plot point that was supposed to be answered and was even hinted at that resulted in nothing.
For all 139 is worth, we are left with bird memes. Yep, that's the take away of the entire show. That is what the attack on titan amounts too. Eren is a bird memes... Apparently they said there will be stuff added to 139. Does anyone think it will actually make a difference at this point?
Honestly no. The characters have been retconned he can’t undo 130 chapters of foreshadowing and great writing that was meant for one ending and somehow flip the script with ten pages and do that well unless there’s some weird stupid bullshit where this is one of the paths Eren saw and DIDNT chose it and the manga ends with him kissing historias hand or something
@@BROWNSMAGIC I think the anime did a lot of changes like cut content and all,I think the anime is already fixing the manga chapters by not including certain stuff ,the anime might go in another direction
I love those who say that the hallucigenia is dead because the host is dead. A question to these intelligent gentlemen, if the hallucigenia needs its host to survive why did it look so alive and fighting when separated from eren ???? Yes, the host argument is invalid because the hallucigenia had already lost its physical host, and even if the hallucigenia has to be connected with a host even at a distance, why when eren died it did not cling to one of the people present near him ???? And those who tell me that the life of the hallucigenia depended on Ymir, this is what I say to you: False. The hallucigenia was already alive before Ymir was connected with it. Then if Ymir let himself die then it would be more coherent to the limit that all the people of Ymir lose their power but that the hallucigenia remains alive and seeks to find a new primordial host.
I don’t understand how people aren’t tearing the earth apart to make sure it’s dead. Nor do I understand how they’re willing to trust the word of the Eldians that they don’t have Titan powers any more.
Why was bertholdt crying to armin. Why did he appear to armin? Were all the past titans that revived to help the cringevengers actually 'there' or are they just copies? Why does everyone hate reiner and bert more than annie? Annie literally killed so many scouts, spun them like yoyos and literally told hitch she would do it all again. Why does historia never bring up ymir again? Why eat the warhammer titan if you're never going to use the powers again? Bert didn't deserve to die, he was the least deserving between reiner and annie.
Bert DEFINITELY deserved to die. All the warriors do. Bert is not less evil than them. Not once we have seen him express guilt like Reiner, who has expressed it many many times. Despite living 3 years on the island, he still kept calling them devils & continued his terroristic attacks, bombed the survey corps and kept destroying Shiganshina. We have never seen him once questioning his actions & just follows Reiner's orders like a sheep. Why would Historia bring up Ymir again?! What purpose does it serve?! Eren definitely used the Warhammer titan on two occasions. He used its power to escape prison, and used it again when he fought Reiner & Porco. On a last note, Bert was ghe most dangerous amongst the warriors not only because of his Colossal titan's powers, but also because he was a bit of antisocial person who rarely if ever voice his opinions or initiate actions, he just sits there and waits other people to tell him what to do. So you never know what he really thinks, which makes him more dangerous than the rest. Other than those points, I agree with you.
I think this was the ending we got because Isayama never made clear how the power of the titans actually work and what he thinks about time and destiny. Without these much needed clarifications, the characters and the readers have no clue on what they should do or expect. Let me elaborate: Ymir got the power from a strange creature and then died 13 years later. How can King Fritz know his daughters need to eat her spine to inherit the power? Why is the power split precisly in nine different parts? Why someone who inherits one of the shifters have to die 13 years later following Ymir's fate? Is this something she wishes for? We are never given any proper reason for all those "facts" and we are never shown someone dying because his time expired. How could the survey corps stop a power that they didn't completely understand? No matter how hard they thought, they could never come up with a better plan than "Let's kill Eren". And how could Eren be sure that wiping off 80% of Humanity would change anything? It's not something you can just bet on and then feel sorry if it doesn't work out. Regarding time and fate, there are only two options: either destiny exists and it is immutable, "set in stone", or it can be changed through characters actions. Isayama mixes the two options and makes a mess: Eren is both a slave to his future intention to activate the rumbling and a God who can redirect Dina's titan away from Bertholdt. Grisha, in the Path, warned Zeke about Eren's terrible plan, but decided to give his son the attack titan anyway shortly after. Isayama and his not so well-thought take on titans and time was surely to disappoint us in the end, and I'm deeply saddened as a former huge fan.
I thought Eren forced his dad to give him the Attack Titan power like how he forced him to kill the Reiss family and steal the founding. That's why his dad was panicking in the forest because Eren from the future was controlling/influencing his actions
That whole first paragraph is stuff I never even thought about but you’re so right!! WE NEEDED YMIRS POV MORE THAN ANYTHING THIS CHAPTER. In fact Eren didn’t have to say anything in 139 and it could’ve ended with Ymir explaining how this was all her will and we wouldn’t have to deal with Eren’s character assassination
I re-wrote the ending (first half) to address commonly asked questions and to tie up loose ends: drive.google.com/folderview?id=1qsnWFUITcUc_OSttbS_F5PA_47iHazuI
is there a specific reason as to why isayama decided that it would be good for aot to end at 139? it seems like the vast of majority of people agreed with the fact that he could've written more chapters to wrap things in a more satisfying way
@@BROWNSMAGIC maybe this is a stupid thing to say, but then he should have made a much longer chapter if he wanted it to end there. A dictionary sized manga book lol
I fear it was because of the symbolism regarding the numbers 13 and 9 in the series. 13 years is the span of the curse and there are 9 titan shifters. Anyway, I don't think more chapters would have saved this mess
In numerology, 139 represents the end of something and the beginning of something else. Essentially, Death and the beginning. So the death of Eren and the beginning of a new life for the world? Idk shit is stupid
Man what happened to finishing a story when its finished. And not just for it to hit a certain number. Hell atleast just have Eren losing but trying to kill everyone instead of retconning shit
Well using my knowledge and understanding of the philosophical implications of this chapter I’ve come to a conclusion 1. I have absolutely no clue 2. become birb
He could have let Historia eat Zeke. He knew he is going to end the curse and he knew Zeke is going to die. The only thing is Historia got pregnant by her bully.
@@juaquiqui-kun4333 right, but I don’t think she wanted to have a baby too 😂😂 I’m not arguing with you but she looked so depressed during her pregnancy that I’m inclined to think she chose to be pregnant for the bigger picture not particularly bc she wanted to have a baby. Idk.

@@Lorenzot2010 you know what after a lot of thinking and analysing ,the ending of AOT is not that bad , Really ,I think with the emotions and music ,scenematic experience the anime will put in the required changes to make the ending a 10/10 But for now a solid 8.5/10 for the ending chapter , which imo is still better than the 70+ chapters we got in the manga ,honestly Remember 70+ is huge ,the rmaing chapters are God tier beyond 10/10
Bro that's so much relatable. When I said I didn't like the ending that much (i'd say 6,5/10 if I have to be generous), people just came and say things like that, or "apparently you haven't understood the message of the serie", like, for real? completing the rumbling would've been the best future for the island. It could've PROVEN something that if war still continues inside paradis, then atleast we could've CONCLUDE that RACE doesn't matter, eliminating RACISM doesn't solve the problem but human nature is just cruel and disgusting that as long as there's two people standing WAR is inevitable.... That the world is cruel yet beautiful at the same time.. that would be more in line with the theme of aot....
Yes, exactly. Like how Animal Farm ends with the pigs at the top taking over the farm and becoming just as oppressive as the humans before them. If it ended with Farmer Jones taking back the farm and slaughtering all the animals, the message of the story would've been completely lost. AoT could've had a similar ending. But no, it got Umi da'd!
Historia used to read the story of Ymir with her older Sister when she was little , when she had the name Krista before she found out her real name was (Historia)
I feel like the cottage thing with Mikasa and Eren is just her delusion, her just being crazy, thinking the future might have changed if she said what she really wanted to say (IDK what she might have said, prob "I love you, brother")lol
I like the fact the tree, eren's burial place, which wasn't mentioned up until the last 3 chapters, turned out to play more role than historia and her child
Another thing I mean, they seemed to be using their ODM gear a lot. I’m not sure if I’m right. I’ll have to re read this monstrosity but why didn’t they run out of fuel for it like they usually would? Was that changed in the new gear?
or how their blades survived a bajillion titan shifters. like bro the only titans they should be able to cut are attack, jaw and female. and the majoirty of the ones we saw were armoured and warhammer. so how in the fuck did they keep going
Also: Why didn't Levi see Isabel and Farlan in the smoke? What happened to him that put him in a wheelchair? Was it because he lost his Ackerman abilities or something? It's not clear at all. I was trying to figure out if it was implied that he fell after throwing the thunder spear at Eren's face, but it seems pretty unlike him to fall unless he ran out of gas.
You forgot to mention something in your video : What happened to Yelena? Why did Grisha told zeke that everything is going to go Eren’s way? What did eren mean by "that sight" Why would ymir love king fritz? Why was eren so opposed to Zeke’s plan? In the paths why did Ymir show eren her past when he came in contact with her? Why did zeke scream and wanted ymir to follow through with his plan? Whats the truth behind the paths? Whats the meaning of that tree in the paths?
So regarding The Hallucginea worm thing, I have a theory that might explain why it disappeared suddenly. From what I can gather, this organism is some sort of Parasite that attached itself to Ymir. It needs a host to survive. When Eren died and the parasite lost it's host. So why did it die? I mean it survived long before it attached itself to Ymir. Why then? Well, my theory is that this Parasite is some sort of water based organism and thus needs to survive in a water based environment. The main evidence that sustains this theory is that in season 3 episode 12, Hange claimed that if the spinal fluid ,which they acquired from Kenny's injection, is exposed to air it will instantly evaporate. The same thing happened to the organism. The main host died and when it was exposed to air for a long time, it died. But that's my thoughts on the matter though.
Exactly!! I'm a bio major and the worm fried my brain and annoyed me to no end. It throws so many things into question. Like are there more worms like that? Do all the worms of its species have titan powers? Will titan powers ever be truly eradicated? What is the path realm? How did the power of the titans split? Why are there only 9 shifters? What is the worm? Who is the final big boss supposed to be? Ymir? Worm? Destiny? The nature of being human? The hallucigenia is so primitive, how did it have titan powers? So who brought Ymir to the paths? Was it the worm because it wanted to survive as long as possible at whatever cost? Was it king Fritz's will that kept Ymir enslaved? Was it ymirs "love" for Fritz that brought her to the paths? But didn't she choose to die by the spear because even Fritz said that being a Titan shifter, she had had been harmed worse than that and recovered. So her choosing to die by a not so fatal wound means she was ready to let go of the mortal realm, leave this behind. She couldn't have known there was another dimension. So why was she brought to the paths? And major question : in the past 2000 yrs, did no one, not a single human ever fall down a tree hole and / or encounter a hallucigenia worm? By making the worm as the originator of titan powers, Isayama made it perhaps as big as the basement in terms of the answers it could reveal. Mixing time travel + evolution + primitive being with supernatural powers + complex yet stupid beings like humans + survival instinct + human nature = This foul tasting cocktail that is the entire last arc of AoT
Yes exactly this final arc raises far more questions than it answers. Literally no series I’ve ever watched ended like this ever. Even game of thrones wrapped up most of the major plot lines. The series ENDED and we have NEW questions and that’s a big problem. People say it’s to leave it up to the reader etc but no. It’s just a plot hole or worse yet, it doesn’t make sense.

THEORY: Isayama is setting up his own 'Zero Requiem' with this. He wrote such a cringe ending so that MAPPA will make a better ending, which will end all the hate towards MAPPA! What better way for Isayama to pay back the studio that worked their asses off to bring his creation to life, but got shit-tons of hate?
I'm doing the same as you, looking at videos to look at others people insight so I can make my own video and holy fuck, you bring some points I've never even thought about. A thing I would like to add to your list of questions is, why no one ever brought up the idea of having Zeke have a bunch of children with Royal blood so they can be sacrificed instead of Historia's? And fuck it while you are at it have Levi have a thousand children so in any case Paradis has a full army of Ackerman on top of the Rumbling threat.
I was thinking the same thing, like if you're gonna pimp out those with royal blood, why not do the same to the Ackermans? If I was Historia I would've brought this shit up too like, "You thought I was going this shit alone? Sike nigga, we sacrificing you too, get fucking, Levi,"
"What happened to the colossal titans" If there were people in there, they would've shown us. Titans who are people, when uncontrolled, also rampage and eat people, which these do not do. From this we can conclude that they're just dolls created by Ymir without people inside. This does retcon Pastor Nick's remark to not let sunlight hit the wall titan. In my opinion this is among the many lazy writing errors that exist to facilitate this unconvincing ending. There was no logical way for the alliance to beat Eren, so Isayama made Eren say "I respect your freedom bro" and later "I wanted you to stop me". Then, if Levi beheads Zeke, it should not stop the rumbling, because Eren already had full control. If the alliance were to stop the founding titan, the wall titans would roam free like normal titans, still dooming the whole world (no one can kill millions of titans) but now including paradis, so Isayama made the wall titans into puppets that only the founder can make move. There was no way for the alliance to know this, so their logical aim should be to EAT Eren and stop the Rumbling, not to just kill him. There is no reason for Eren's death to end the existence of the paths and the titans. The founder should be transferred to a random Eldian baby. I suppose this can be explained by saying that the titans disappeared because Mikasa freed Ymir. This is true, but it's dumb because it makes no sense that Ymir waited 2000 years to see a girl kill her crush.
Why the dead Titan shifters were helping the allianz How did eren transform into CT Titan even though that centipede was not intact??? What was eren goal Man??? What is he a clown
Yo. Someone tried to explain the scarf scene to me and no lie, they said Eren got up and protected Mikasa because "he realized how naturally feminine she is and it gave him the drive to fight." I think I'm done trying to reason with ending defenders. These people will come up with the silliest coping measures to not look stupid, but just end up looking 10x as stupid
Mikasa OBVIOUSLY was ready to die there and take eren with herself. It's ridiculous Mikasa's fans hate her more than her haters cause wishing this girl to stay with eren, a boy who doesn't give a shit about you as a love interest, is the worst thing you could ever want to come true
Most of the plot related questions can be answered by the laziest writing technique, one that is present in AoT: It all needed to happen this way. Predeterminism. The most stale hot dog water plot point that excuses and justifies every action, even the dumbest ones, which this final chapter was filled with.
@@nah2685 my theory is that he is now the only og veteran scout remaining. He or any alliance members would not be accepted back on paradis for being deemed traitors. He doesn't have friends among the remaining scouts - they're his subordinates besides Armin who was made the commander but yeah. Throughout the rumbling Levi was protecting Gabi and Falco. And with the titan powers gone, his Ackermann abilities are gone and with it his regenerative abilities as well. So I guess he is permanently physically harmed to some degree. All this considered, basically he had no choice but to live in wherever 20% of the world survived. IDK why onyankopon is there with him though. They become friends? Idk. I have no idea abt anything at this point. I'm running on copium and making theories to make sense of the madness.
If Ackermanns are products of Titan science then why aren’t they susceptible to the Founding Titan? If their abilities come from Titans then shouldn’t they be in the Founding Titan’s sphere of control? If this was all a plan by Ymir then why did Eren have to convince her to work with him and not Zeke? Shouldn’t she just immediately side with him?
It actually would've been fucking chilling if Eren killed everybody but Mikasa and at the end, he emerges from the Founding Titan and walks towards her, saying, "This is what you wanted, isn't it? To be by my side? Come, Mikasa, we are free," and he hugs her and she has this petrified as fuck look on her face as she very very slowly hugs him back. Armin appears from his Titan, his legs broken because Eren beat the everliving fuck out of his Titan that he was actually expelled from the nape (while it was on the ground so he doesn't die from the fall). Armin desperately crawls toward Eren whilst slowly healing, telling Mikasa to get away from him as he's also dragging along a blade to kill Eren with. "We'll all go back to the way things were," Eren whispers to Mikasa. "Just the three of us." He turns towards Armin and tells him to drop the blade or he'll disable Armin's ability to heal and let him writhe in endless pain. This is the outcome he wanted, the outcome they all wanted, and Armin should be happy. Eren says he's been influenced by Bertholdt's memories and he's going to remove his Collasal Titan power and with it, Bertholdt's memories. Armin begs him to stop, and Eren says it'll only take a touch as he lets go of Mikasa and slowly walks towards him. "We three will go back to the way things were," he tells Armin as he's approaching him. "Just the three of us, using the power of the Titans." Armin is desperately swinging his blade, cutting Eren but he's healing too fast. "Ymir has no power, the King's vow has no power, I don't even need the touch of a Royal Blood Titan...the Founding Titan's power is mine, I am free..." Eren chants as he approaches Armin and leans his head forward to touch foreheads. Then Mikasa beheads him. The Collasal Titans fall and turn into ordinary Eldians. They know what happened so they don't need to be caught up on 100 years of human history. In the Paths, Ymir smiles as she disappears. Eren is left behind, his eyes blurred out the way Ymir's is, and he's carrying a bucket of sand. There is no more glowing white tree, just the auora borealis looking sky. He drags the bucket endlessly. Epilogue shows Armin in a wheelchair, Histotia's baby girl has green eyes like Eren proving it's his, and she's named after Ymir. They all live in Paradise and attempt to rebuild the world.

The rumbling arc itself was questionable from the beginning, its just that once 139 hit, it left a lot of things unanswered, plot holes all over the place, etc. The ending chapter itself was just "eh, ok whatever", but when you look at the entire arc, wow its bad. Edit: TLDR; Shonens suck at war arcs XD.
its been shown in the series that some titan shifters can use and control the titan powers within there first transformation so the falco thing isn't that bad. aka : Bert
27:49 Actually, I think a possible explanation for that is the warrior program and the fact they choose people compatible for their titans but idk kinda a strech
I always thought Historia's paralells with Ymir was because she was gonna become her host, like an incarnation or something. Historia was gonna eat Eren and the rest of the pure titans so she could become the second Ymir and attaint all titan powers. Either that or Historia was gonna be the one to save the day, but none of these happened lol
One of the most popular theories was that Ymir was going to be reincarnated in Historia's child, cause she would give her love, unlike anyone else before. This would have been beautiful, the parallels with mikasa make no sense
@@maboh9 yes it would also make sense to the freckles ymir inner monologue if i was to given another chance in life i will live only for myself and historia telling her to stop thinking about other and live just for themselves everything would be connected very well and make sense cant believe they ditched the plot for a ship ??? Like those teenagers will forget about this ship after 2 or 3 years but a classic show will be remembered forever .... Wasted potential and for what ? Smhh
I thought that historia’s baby would be named Ymir as a tribute to the woman who died for her and also as a parallel to the founder Ymir being “reborn” in a free world and parts of a loving family. It would be even deeper if it was eren’s kid as well. It would make the whole “historia having a baby” have major plot relevance
@@itsdatboi7179 yeah the baby being eren's alone end the manga with so many parallels , end the circle of kids eating their parents , the antithesis of king fritz and ymir ( slavery ) eren and hisu ( freedom ) the antithesis of grisha and dina as well yeagerist and a royal blood but the difference is eren actually get the job done surpass his father by not using his child as tool and surpassing him as husband by not letting historia become a titan esp after what kruger said to grisha about loving someone in wall ( if you notice kruger was looking at his side not at grisha just like what happened in chapter 1 where grisha was looking at adult eren actually ) but yeah this would have been too kino to happen 😔
I love the Mickey Mouse cameos throughout the video lol And also on how Hange died, she basically got Armined by burning to death by their immense heat. She used her thunder spears and switched to swords and fought till she burnt up Also, why Zeke was a monkey is implied through him playing with a monkey toy when he was a kid, maybe you take the form of your favourite animal as a beast titan? But that’s just more speculation lol
The Titans disappearing makes no sense! Weren't we told that if a shifter dies without passing down their Titan, then it just goes to a random Eldian child?
The ending destroyed eren as character, the ending made eren into a walking plot device with no motivation and has no idea what his doing, it goes against his previous characterisation that we saw of him like on chapter 121 and 122 where he outsmarted zeke and was shown to be in control and knowing what he is doing, and even be able to free yimir from the royal blood commands. Also eren pulling a lelouch doesn't make sense because how can the world view eldians as heroes just because a few of them helped, the fact still is the majority of eldians openly supported the rumbling and eren so how is the rest of the world supposed to forget 80% of the poppulation that died and hold hands and make peace. Due to this Paradis now turned into a fascist military nation with the yeagerist on top and having the support of the people. The execution and pacing of this chapter was terrible, some plot points are obviousely either last minute changes or simlpy bad decision making from Isayama, like making mikasa the one yimir was waiting for 2000 years instead of eren just so that she could kill eren for her, and making yimir the one in control all this time despite just a few chapters ago she couldn't even refuse a direct order from zeke. All these forced changes because Isayama couldn't find a better way to get rid of titan powers than making yimir let go of king fritz who she is now in love with. This ending has a lot of problems, and it's not just the plot hole, the plot itself is badly written in it.
i'd LOVE to watch an hour long essay on this! i love ur videos, and im 100% here for all the valid criticism. i sit through all ur vids bc i cant get enough of the discussion on why the ending sucks.
@@BROWNSMAGIC I guess you're technically right there. I thought he would complete the rumbling, return home finally "free" but then oops Eldians have been fighting each other for generations ie Fritz 145 setting up Paradis to begin with.
That’s how I thought it would end tragically like Eren’s like here you go my people I killed everyone else for you all to live ! Oop infighting Oop civil war that would’ve been cool
@@BROWNSMAGIC totally agree AOT had always had a horror vibe thought we were going to get that tragic twilight zone ending showing us a terrifying but valuable lesson, but oops nvm the author thought otherwise somehow and now genocide is celebrated at worst, frowned on at best
they didnt overthrow historia because im pretty sure she agrees with them. remember she says eren was right its us or them, its safe to say historia is a "yeagerist"
Which makes the survey corp opposing Eren even dumber because historia in the end was like " oh shit This man Eren was right" and boom paradise is gonzo
@@BROWNSMAGIC He said things that proved he knew he was going to die/stopped though also. Maybe he knew he was going to die, but not know how ? And wasnt the whole point of pushing them away prior to the rumbling so they would stop him ?
Why not make Ymir want revenge for the trauma king fritz put her daughters through by making them eat her and have them keep on this fuck up tradition for thousands of years never letting her being able to Rest In Peace trap in the paths making Titans that at least would have gave her a purpose for wanting to end the Titan curse for good
The answers to all these questions is that it’s not about the ending. It’s about the journey and the friends we made along the way.......(and like one billion dead people for the same results but shhh how cares about details am I right?)
Kshdjsjs guys please stop with the mental gymnastic why would we get panel of historia suffering with her hormones what we should do with that information i cant
It’s weird how the end of AOT is so confusing when it didn’t even have to be, before this video the only thing that I had an issue with was Eren being in love with mikasa when he never showed any romantic feelings for her in the entire series (except for that one time they visited Marley). But now there are so Many things I didn’t even think about that confuse me like how Grisha had the same power eren had prior to getting eaten by him, which allowed him to see future memories and past I think as well, and still ate the Reiss family. Like he didn’t have the power to reject destiny like eren did and forge his own path . Everything is just so confusing now, I still love the series but the ending is a headscratcher for me
If you go with any other show endings the more you like it ,the more you criticize the more you realise that it's time travel paradox ,so that's how I see it
i think there were miss translations and culture difference. it seems Japanese make important the first impression. eren promised mikasa to wrap the scarf forever. in Japanese society, they Don't say i love you. but you won't promise that scarf things foreverif you don't love her. that is why none doubt his love to mikasa in Japanese fandom.
@@BROWNSMAGIC wow so simple maybe you should have been the author. Most boring ending ever the rest of the world is dead...eren frees ymir.....expresses his love for mikasa...WOW I think you started with the anime and continued with the manga, right?
@pxel's VODS how? There is much to talk and speculate. If what I said earlier is the ending, how is it better? Because killing rest of the world is sociopathic and a horrible message.
@pxel's VODS it's such a weird thing that you care about the people on paradise but the rest of the world nah fuck'em. If you're story ends with I killed them all what are you telling your reader. The enemy is the curse of the titans not people. People on paradise has only experienced a fraction of the terror which the rest of the world endured for almost 2000 years. So please if you want to make an argument for killing is justified if you're loved are in danger....I'm sorry we'll never see eye to eye. One of my fav character moments is from Mr. Braun when he forgives Gabi for killing his daughter.
@pxel's VODS ok cool you care for the eldians on the island but what about all the eldians who are not on the island and the rest of the world, why is ok for you for them to die? Yes we saw what happened to paradise through our main trio but doesn't it show that this horror which they are going through was the fate of humanity for the last 1900 years. Yes island devils who can turn into titans but now they can't don't you think that's a huge factor that thing will be better for all of us if we could forgive each other. And if the eldians can create weapons and gears to combat titans don't you think they can handle normal people with guns and bombs. And for me eldians on the island were reflecting the horror which the power of the titans brought up this world.
About the detitanization of the rumbling titans - those titans are hundreds, if not more, years old. How can a human emerge from theose titans and be... what... in their 20, 30, whatever the age of the human was when titanized? Also, in the manga and anime it was mentioned and shown that the human can become one with the titan. And we talk about 100 plus year old titans here, the human will be no more, long time ago. That's my answer and my view on that.
15. Why did Historia have a baby with her childhood bully? 24. Why is Levi with GABI and falco? 25. Connie was very upset that Sasha died because of Eren.... how about Reiner and Annie bc of Marco? Are these questions in anger? Trying to answer without wasting time: 15. Why not? is it so bad? you never had any kind of bully in your childhood?, no one is interested in that question, you ask the wrong question regarding this point. 24. Does it really matter? well, levi and gaby started to meet in the last arc (for example when they are talking on top of falco titan) And levi ......, the point is: what can he do with his life now?, just hang out (beautiful: something which Kenny didn't want: (to live for common pleasures). I think it's a nice touch that scene. 25. Is this important? Marco was special for jean (the reason to join scouts), but for connie....... (sasha was his 'twin'), also time helps to forget, forgive, Connie knew the circumstances of them, the circumstances of all, and jean already hit reiner for that, connie even forgave eren, taking his time (and thinking better of it). (it was needed a dramatic scene with connie? because of this?). idc this.
@@person8641 what is a plot hole then it? Lol. it wasn't touched on so clearly jt is a plothole. By not saying anything about it, the author could've used this is anyway he wanted and thats clearly what he did.
@@TRiniLukey A plot hole or plot error is a gap or inconsistency in a storyline that goes against the flow of logic established by the story's plot. A plot hole is the result of two or more contradictory details. Something being left unexplained isn't inherently a plot hole. It's just that-something being left unexplained
@@person8641 I'm glad Google works lol. The definition isn't wrong though. But i original said it wasn't resolved though they mentioned certain things or small details.
4:17 "every titan is a human? correct?", probably not. It's possible that the colossal titans from the walls are created in the same manner as the Ancient titans that fought the alliance. going back to the Tybur speech in chapter 100, "King Fritz used the power of the founding titan to *give birth* to massive titans.". "give birth" is a bit too specific, it was never mentioned like "used the power to turn people into massive titans."... King fritz wants to die along with the people protected by the walls... if all Eldians were to die, the power of the founding titan would be transferred to the titans in the wall, which makes no sense. if those wall titans were people, he wants them to die as well, but since they're not human and only dependent on the founding titan as their life-support, they'll naturally die if there is no longer a founding titan or Eldian to inherit it.
Proceeding to the population part, not by "million" but "millions(in plural)", the source of this claim can be found from the same Tybur's speech 39 chapters ago. Paradis's population would go up but it has really really severe consequences in return, Paradis will suffer from famine. if Paradis is already struggling to feed a million, it's much worse if you add a million or multiple times that... Food problem will not become the only issue, but housing crisis, and mass unemployment. the economy will be dragged and smashed in the ground if population were to spike up in MILLIONS.
It also retcons chapter 121, which was supposed to be when eren freed ymir, but apparently that was bullshit.
So one of my favorite series of all time is called Tsubasa Chronicle (absolutely amazing heartwarming gutwrenching series btw PLS READ IT), and the ending to that series had some people pretty pissed off, because it basically forced the family apart in a specific kind of way. I remember when we got to it, I was okay with the ending from a writing standpoint. It wasn't the most logical ending, but it didn't leave more than maybe 5 unanswered questions. It was really bittersweet, but I recall people being SO PISSED at it, calling it the worst ending ever conceived, saying how it ruined the characters' bonds, how it's "too depressing". Well, with some time and patience, I am now glad to tell everybody that that ending was a miracle work in comparison to Attack On Titan's ending. I thought Tsubasa was as bad of an ending one could write (even though I was fine with it), and then I was introduced to Game Of Thrones, then The Last Of Us 2, and now SNK. Sasuga Isayama, this is what happens when you doubt yourself.
9. Why did the hallucegenia die at Ymir’s will when it lived separately from her before? 11. Why was it killed off screen? Short answer: The hallucegenia didnt die, it grow up again from eren's head. The part of it that was fighting gave up fighting, it has no reason to fight (most likely it doesn't have any human-like intelligence, nor is it interested in humans, it wasn't looking for Ymir, Ymir fell in it), it was only fighting because Ymir wanted that (cause eren wanted) (Ymir in 122 was the one who wanted the hallucigenia to join with Eren, not the hallucigenia, hallucigenia didnt give a fuck for Eren). This can be an interesting thing to chat
The moment I saw the Earth panel I was like "oh he's gonna explain the origin of the titans isn't he." I'm cool with time travel, I'm cool with dimensions, I'm cool with titans. But how the FUCK does a prehistorical biological animal create those things?? We should not know about the origin of the titans. I feel like everybody is so upset about the characters not making sense, and plot holes, and plots going nowhere, and I completely agree with them but why is nobody talking about the hallucigenia? The origin of a bunch of supernatural phenomena cannot be natural.
By explaining the origin of the titans you add a gazillion questions which are doomed to remain unanswered: What is the path? What happened to that dimension when the hallucigenia died? is it gone, or simply no longer accessible? if it's gone, how did that animal create it? where was it located? is it a hallucination that the parasite makes you see? if so, how can people communicate with each other through it? and if the dimension is no longer accessible, how did a biological creature grant them access to it? Why did the titan shifters stop at 9? why not 81, or more logically, all Eldians with royal blood? I could go on and on and on. Never explain the supernatural. It's a rabbit hole you do not wanna go down.
10:17 Ahh okay so I actually CAN answer this one, as Isayama answered it at a Q&A panel: It wasn't memories, it was her own daydream delusions. Yes, I'm fucking serious. That's not what Eren did with her in paths. That was just her own delulu shit. 😭😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀💀💀
I agree with everything, I'm not sure why I still read and still watching the series but I gave up on this show when they reached the political arc. Luckily enough Erwin gave a bit of hope but died and then the series got worst for the second time with the timeskip lmao. Then around chapter 122 till 139 happened. I could excuse all plot holes up until that point but those chapters wtf was I reading lmao.
Answer to the first question is that Historia definitely loved Eren after all she was the one who asked him to have baby with her but Eren denies that.
I feel like the entire series was pointless following at all if nothing really gets solved at the end, the titan curse is gone but the series grew beyond just that The hate still continues into the next generations, wars will follow, racial prejudice still exists when the option to end it was 80% completed, nobody has any freedom as anyone outside their zones want to kill them, paradis is fucked lol, and it all ended with love themes that were never prevalent from the get go
ANSWERS-ANIME ORIGINAL ENDING, I'M PLACING MY COMMENT HERE, SO WHEN THIS HAPPENS PEOPLE WHO SAID I'M ON "HOPIUM" CAN SHUT UP explanation - In all the manga there r hints of 3 timelines, 1st one being the "see you later eren" timeline, 2nd is the manga timeline, 3rd is the anime timeline, so manga's ending make sense to me, if anybody have questions I'll answer them.
13. Why is Mikasa allowed in Paradis after being a part of the group that killed Eren and killing floch? 14. Why is no one else at Eren’s grave mourning his death on the third anniversary? Short Answer: Cause they dont have the aot manga (the paradisians) they just read one piece. (maybe later ill explain the mistakes in the questions)
THANK YOU 😭 For the love of Eren, if anyone else out there hates this garbage ending, please come talk to me. Be my best friend! I need sane people to talk to! Discord my ass!
I mean, I could probably answer most of these but I am not going to in a RUclips comment. There are two general issues that I would like to address. The first is the fact that titans' powers were always asspulls and never really consistent. Some titans could talk, some could not, the armor bottle that Eren used is never addressed again, and there is obviously a LOT more of them, as there always have been. So I am not really surprised once the author tells me that Ymir could create colossals out of nothing, or once the Hallucigenia disappears after Eren gets killed. And I don't feel like it really affects the story. The way I think about plotholes (or mistakes in general) and how damaging they are, is I think about the consequences they have and how easily you can ignore them (how much mental gymnastics you need to do to dodge the issue). If I read a historical paper and find a typo, it does not affect the paper in the slightest (I can just think "Oh, the author should have written 'have' instead of 'haeve'"). But if the paper is based on false proofs or lacks reliable sources and then comes to wrong conclusions, the whole thing is worthless. To me the flaws people see in AoT are at worst typos, and they don't bother me in the slightest. The other issue is Eren's agency. This is a really tough topic to discuss, and it is the aspect that I find most fascinating about Isayama's work. We know that since birth he has been heavily influenced by a great number of people and events, we know that he has been fucked up when he kissed Historia's hand and we also know that he ultimately wanted the outcome he decided. Isayama leaves us with more of a question than an answer. You may think that this is an asspull, but I really don't. In general there have always been pieces of media that ask questions rather than give answers (because the truth can be different for everybody), if done well it can add a lot of value to the work itself. Think about Evangelion, literally the most famous anime in Japan. It was hated at first too, because people wanted answers and they didn't get them, and it took years of spinoffs to cover every possible plothole (while sending Anno deeper into depression, because he wanted the viewers to focus just on the message, which is actually pretty simple). Eva would be the worst and most hated piece of media ever conceived if you were to look at plot consistency. Don't watch Gainax and Trigger shows if you don't like this sort of stuff I guess ahah
@Someone :/ I think that most of what you said on classic anime makes a lot of sense, but I disagree with your opinion on AoT. And since you seem to be a pretty open minded person, I will give you my take on it if you would like. In my opinion AoT really is something that will be remembered as a great classic in the future, and I think that the hatred it's getting now is a mix of the frustration of the things it left open and some misunderstandings about the characters. I think they both will die out once people accept it and understand it a little bit better (I spent weeks thinking about it, and I feel like there are still conclusions to be drawn from it), hopefully this happens after the anime airs. Basically the same thing happened with EVA, and actually the backlash was probably much worse in Japan back then. I did not watch GoT, after finishing the first season I thought that it was not my cup of tea and hearing that in the later season it would get worse I did not bother pushing through, so I can't really make the comparison. I have to say, though, that I did not feel like any character received any retcon. To me Eren's character made perfect sense all the way through, and so did Historia, Armin, Reiner and Mikasa, especially if you consider only the last big arc (chapters 91 onwards). And I found the open questions to be pretty interesting, especially the whole discussion about the theme of freedom. If you would like to discuss any of these topics I would gladly agree, let me know with a comment
i think all of these questions are coming from a point of view where you believed that the rumbling was the answer to everything. There would have still been a cycle of hatred even if the rumbling succeeded. that was already established between Flock and Hizuru's leader.
These questions come from Eren’s belief that the rumbling was the answer to the cycle of hatred…. Which he clearly states the only way to end the cycle of hatred is to bury it under the ground. Stop ppl from being oppressed on the basis of being eldian… which the rumbling WAS written to be the only way to do that
I agree with everything you said. And the extra pages made the ending even worse with Mikasa marrying Jean and Paradis geting destroyed by Marley. Also apparently Eren is still alive in another dimension where there is magic.About Historia pregancy there is an info which is partially confirmed that the child is Eren son.
These questions can only be answered by Ymir herself

Lol...
the only positive part about this ending was finding your channel
Ayeeee
Also that levi scene too
I feel like introducing fate just took out the consequence of every action in aot. If eren's rumbling was just fate, then its not at all his fault for committing genocide because he literally had no other choice. He was just a meat puppet for ymir.
That was my biggest problem with the ending, of course characters not being themselves is bad, but when the big boy ymir time travel and the "past present and future" were shown, it makes you not certain what parts of Eren's reasoning was really his.
your opinion was make sense why the f Eren somewhat becoming an incel and didn't know why he did the things
When people introduce fate I just think, doesn't that mean you could just lay under a tree and somehow you'll still end up where u end up.
Some people: THE ENDING WAS PLANNED LOOK AT THIS BIRD SYMBOLISM IN EPISODE 1 AND THERES A BIRD SPECIES CALLED JAEGER!"
Okay sure it was planned...doesnt make it good though
Lol it wasn't planned at all... Isayama himself said he changed the ending multiple times...his first original idea was a dark ending...
@Philip no it wasn't. But it wasn't even as dark as it could have been.... especially when Eren said he did the rumbling for no reason....
@Philip oh yeah ...right....just because that's what ymir plan was....of course...
Rick turning himself into a pickle was planned, but it was still a crap episode!
Heres another one:
Remember when Eren was talking about if a titan shifter dies without passing their power, it gets transferred to a random Eldian baby?
We never got to know if this was true or not so it was left as a maybe.
Well can you guess who died after Historias baby was born? Zeke. Without passing his power.
That was a huge plot point that was supposed to be answered and was even hinted at that resulted in nothing.
This is just getting better and better
Any of these plotholes? You know what they'll say against these?
"Only Ymir knows"

Exactly dude !
@@mst3kharris The Worm appears evaporating in the chapter behind Reiner and Jean.
Did you read the chapter?????
@@psykos233 you high bruh? xD
@@josepht5141 Huh?
Let me elaborate:
Ymir got the power from a strange creature and then died 13 years later.
@@ryanw459 He shouldn't be able to do it tho, that kind of power it's never stated in the whole story
That whole first paragraph is stuff I never even thought about but you’re so right!! WE NEEDED YMIRS POV MORE THAN ANYTHING THIS CHAPTER. is there a specific reason as to why isayama decided that it would be good for aot to end at 139? it seems like the vast of majority of people agreed with the fact that he could've written more chapters to wrap things in a more satisfying way
Some 13 year olds on Tik tok were saying that it’s an angel number some other people said 13 year curse + 9 Titan shifters

Exactly
I didn't even think about the Historia and Ymir parallel, it would've been way better than the whole Mikasa and Ymir stuff
The funniest thing is that in this reality eren didn't get to paths, didn't make grisha inherit the founder and died in trost
No idea. It wasn't explained. No matter how much their gear was updated, there has to be a limit on how much fuel / gas they can use
or how their blades survived a bajillion titan shifters. like bro the only titans they should be able to cut are attack, jaw and female. and the majoirty of the ones we saw were armoured and warhammer. so how in the fuck did they keep going
Literally the only ppl who liked the ending are EM shippers. Like you’ve won but at what cost?

Why didn't Levi see Isabel and Farlan in the smoke?
What happened to him that put him in a wheelchair? Was it because he lost his Ackerman abilities or something? It's not clear at all. I was trying to figure out if it was implied that he fell after throwing the thunder spear at Eren's face, but it seems pretty unlike him to fall unless he ran out of gas.
Levi was bitten by a titan on both legs before killing Zeke, the weird thing was it happened before killing Zeke.
@Darth Caliginous obvioisly they are canon
Please I can easily answer all these questions.
Only Ymir knows...
You forgot to mention something
in your video :
What happened to Yelena?
Why did Grisha told zeke that everything is going to go Eren’s way?
What did eren mean by "that sight"
Why would ymir love king fritz?
If this is so, how come Ymir's corpse and the parasite in it didn't die when it was exposed in air?
Helps explain the environment too.
I hadn't considered this before.
@@peagames2002 cause Ymir was still alive in the paths
Biggest question tho. Why the f*ck does Historia's kid look striaght outta Seven Deadly Sins?
😂😂😂😂
Mixing time travel + evolution + primitive being with supernatural powers + complex yet stupid beings like humans + survival instinct + human nature

"What happened to the colossal titans"
If there were people in there, they would've shown us.

Why is Levi in a wheelchair like he's gabi and falcos crippled uncle ?
@Return of The Green Elephant PETRAfying
Fr why he isn't with mikasa or other scouts members why is he with falbi ??
I would have loved an explanation about the Ackerman's power... however only Ymir knows...while we will never know
It actually would've been fucking chilling if Eren killed everybody but Mikasa and at the end, he emerges from the Founding Titan and walks towards her, saying, "This is what you wanted, isn't it?
Come on man, there is no foreshadowing for that, Mikasa Eren CaNoN!!! 🤤🤤🤤

I saw this amazing video on youtube in spanish about Eren and Historia I thought it was so well written.
But finally no, Mikasa parallels Ymir.
Ok.
I love the Mickey Mouse cameos throughout the video lol
And also on how Hange died, she basically got Armined by burning to death by their immense heat. She used her thunder spears and switched to swords and fought till she burnt up
Also, why Zeke was a monkey is implied through him playing with a monkey toy when he was a kid, maybe you take the form of your favourite animal as a beast titan?
Ah shit here we go again
LMFAOOOOO
i'd LOVE to watch an hour long essay on this! i love ur videos, and im 100% here for all the valid criticism. i sit through all ur vids bc i cant get enough of the discussion on why the ending sucks.
Can you explain how a complete rumbling of the world outside of Paradis would have ended the cycle of violence?
The specific cycle of persecuting people because of their eldian race would have ended.
Good video
The answer to all these questions, only the founder Ymir knows.
they didnt overthrow historia because im pretty sure she agrees with them. remember she says eren was right its us or them, its safe to say historia is a "yeagerist"
Which makes the survey corp opposing Eren even dumber because historia in the end was like " oh shit This man Eren was right" and boom paradise is gonzo
So did Eren know he would die, and he would be stopped by the scouts, or not... at the time of the medal ceremony ?
I think he didn’t know bc in chapter 139 he said he didn’t know what Mikasa will do.
@@BROWNSMAGIC He said things that proved he knew he was going to die/stopped though also. Maybe he knew he was going to die, but not know how ? And wasnt the whole point of pushing them away prior to the rumbling so they would stop him ?
2:57 eramisa fans have yet to give me a answer for this other than cope harder
11:25 same reason as levi not seeing isabel or farlan isayama just forgot
Why not make Ymir want revenge for the trauma king fritz put her daughters through by making them eat her and have them keep on this fuck up tradition for thousands of years never letting her being able to Rest In Peace trap in the paths making Titans that at least would have gave her a purpose for wanting to end the Titan curse for good
thatd be too ez. he went full Rian Johnson and subverted our expectations
The answers to all these questions is that it’s not about the ending. It’s about the journey and the friends we made along the way.......(and like one billion dead people for the same results but shhh how cares about details am I right?)
So it turned into Pokemon? (I;E journey matters more than the destination)
Trash.
yikes.

I’m not an EreMika fan at all.
the only way this chapter makes totally sense is filling all the holes with headcanons and theories...
It’s weird how the end of AOT is so confusing when it didn’t even have to be, before this video the only thing that I had an issue with was Eren being in love with mikasa when he never showed any romantic feelings for her in the entire series (except for that one time they visited Marley). But now there are so
Many things I didn’t even think about that confuse me like how Grisha had the same power eren had prior to getting eaten by him, which allowed him to see future memories and past I think as well, and still ate the Reiss family. Like he didn’t have the power to reject destiny like eren did and forge his own path . Everything is just so confusing now, I still love the series but the ending is a headscratcher for me
If you go with any other show endings the more you like it ,the more you criticize the more you realise that it's time travel paradox ,so that's how I see it
Because isayama giving too much spotlight for armong, he even got annie for some reason
i think there were miss translations and culture difference. it seems Japanese make important the first impression. eren promised mikasa to wrap the scarf forever. in Japanese society, they Don't say i love you. but you won't promise that scarf things foreverif you don't love her. that is why none doubt his love to mikasa in Japanese fandom.
I really appreciate the idea of the video 😂👍
Thank you for your content its like therapy at this point
Some of these questions felt a little stretched but for the most part there are so many unanswered things
How can he complete the rumbling and live while the the power of titans still exists? Doesn't he only have a couple of years
He completes the rumbling and frees Ymir thus ending the shifter stuff all together
@@BROWNSMAGIC wow so simple maybe you should have been the author. Most boring ending ever the rest of the world is dead...eren frees ymir.....expresses his love for mikasa...WOW
I think you started with the anime and continued with the manga, right?
I accept your challenge- I can answer all the questions in 1 line- because we need BEREN SHINGEKI NEXT GENERATIONS😂
15. Why did Historia have a baby with her childhood bully?
24. Why is Levi with GABI and falco?
25. Connie was very upset that Sasha died because of Eren.... how about Reiner and Annie bc of Marco?
Are these questions in anger? Trying to answer without wasting time:
15. Why not? is it so bad? you never had any kind of bully in your childhood?, no one is interested in that question, you ask the wrong question regarding this point.
24. Does it really matter? well, levi and gaby started to meet in the last arc (for example when they are talking on top of falco titan)
And levi ......, the point is: what can he do with his life now?, just hang out (beautiful: something which Kenny didn't want: (to live for common pleasures).
(it was needed a dramatic scene with connie? because of this?). idc this.
Answerung questions? I don't want that? I want only Ymir to know! For 10 years at least!
The biggest plot hole in SNK is the titan serum. Nothing about it was resolved lmao
That isn't a plot hole, though... That's just one of the many things that were never touched on
@@person8641 what is a plot hole then it? Lol. it wasn't touched on so clearly jt is a plothole.
@@TRiniLukey I know you stated that it isn't resolved, which is a fact. I was just correcting you on why that isn't a plot hole
You either live as Monke, or die as a Tree....
I also came to this conclusion
Proceeding to the population part, not by "million" but "millions(in plural)", the source of this claim can be found from the same Tybur's speech 39 chapters ago.
Paradis's population would go up but it has really really severe consequences in return, Paradis will suffer from famine. if Paradis is already struggling to feed a million, it's much worse if you add a million or multiple times that...
Food problem will not become the only issue, but housing crisis, and mass unemployment. the economy will be dragged and smashed in the ground if population were to spike up in MILLIONS.
It also retcons chapter 121, which was supposed to be when eren freed ymir, but apparently that was bullshit.
Honestly I kinda thought Pieck's "I wish I coulda talked to him" was about Porco.
I envy the alternate universe where this story had a banger ending
9. Why did the hallucegenia die at Ymir’s will when it lived separately from her before?
11. Why was it killed off screen?
Short answer: The hallucegenia didnt die, it grow up again from eren's head.
The part of it that was fighting gave up fighting, it has no reason to fight (most likely it doesn't have any human-like intelligence, nor is it interested in humans, it wasn't looking for Ymir, Ymir fell in it), it was only fighting because Ymir wanted that (cause eren wanted)
(Ymir in 122 was the one who wanted the hallucigenia to join with Eren, not the hallucigenia, hallucigenia didnt give a fuck for Eren).
This can be an interesting thing to chat
The moment I saw the Earth panel I was like "oh he's gonna explain the origin of the titans isn't he."
I'm cool with time travel, I'm cool with dimensions, I'm cool with titans.
By explaining the origin of the titans you add a gazillion questions which are doomed to remain unanswered:
What is the path? What happened to that dimension when the hallucigenia died? is it gone, or simply no longer accessible? if it's gone, how did that animal create it? where was it located? is it a hallucination that the parasite makes you see? if so, how can people communicate with each other through it? and if the dimension is no longer accessible, how did a biological creature grant them access to it? Why did the titan shifters stop at 9? why not 81, or more logically, all Eldians with royal blood?
I could go on and on and on. Never explain the supernatural. It's a rabbit hole you do not wanna go down.
the line when you say eren kruger help alliance when from the start he is part of plan to make baby eren born... full of confusion 😂
I feel like the entire series was pointless following at all if nothing really gets solved at the end, the titan curse is gone but the series grew beyond just that
The hate still continues into the next generations, wars will follow, racial prejudice still exists when the option to end it was 80% completed, nobody has any freedom as anyone outside their zones want to kill them, paradis is fucked lol, and it all ended with love themes that were never prevalent from the get go
These are my thoughts exactly
@@BROWNSMAGIC Thanks, also nice vids you've done on it! Really well structured and lays out all the points neatly
except the titan curse isnt gone lol, which now makes it even worse
why did ymir smile when mikasa kissed eren?
ANSWERS-ANIME ORIGINAL ENDING, I'M PLACING MY COMMENT HERE, SO WHEN THIS HAPPENS PEOPLE WHO SAID I'M ON "HOPIUM" CAN SHUT UP
explanation - In all the manga there r hints of 3 timelines, 1st one being the "see you later eren" timeline, 2nd is the manga timeline, 3rd is the anime timeline, so manga's ending make sense to me, if anybody have questions I'll answer them.
I think everything solves by saying ymir knows ,and that is also necessary
"everything is by my will" , "only ymir knows" "i dont know why" "im a slave to freedom" "only ymir knows" - ah yes writing
in the manga the "everything is by my will was actually everything is already sit stone instead
it doesn't make sense in the anime
Who is the real enemy....humans or the power of the titans?
I've been waiting for this lmao.
Grisha begged zeke to stop eren cause he knew that eren would lead the plot to an ass ending
