My problem is weird. My controller works fine when I connect it. It works on the settings tab. Then when I load up a game, for example nba2k23, it doesn’t detect it
When I first plugged the gamepad into my laptop, it was detected on my laptop as Xbox 360. But when I tried to test the buttons it didn't work, so I had to unplug and plug in repeatedly until it worked. Sometimes the first time I plug in the gamepad it works right away. Is that the gamepad or my laptop ??
The problem for me is that it looks like the computer does not see the controller or something... It does not show up in device manager. Already tried 5 cables and 2 controllers who do work on other devices. The computer just acts like did not plug in any controller.

I reinstalled windows 11, Ever since then my controller does not work. Even after reinstalling etc it works on other PC but not the one I reinstalled windows on.....

you can also press win-key + x to show device manager among other things
